Need 2 Slin on a Cut=Great.. but what about a Bulk?

bump for thoughts on this.

I'll put up what I posted on M&M in here to ;)

I see no problem with it. The way I understand it from the limited research I've done in the past on bilberry is that it doesn't actually lower blood sugar per se, but it improves the strength and integrity of blood vessels which may be or have been damaged in people with diabetes. Plus it's also an antioxidant like most berries

LOL, me too!

Isn't bilberry mostly for digestion? I'm getting lazy and don't want to look it up...

LOL. I'll give ya a pass this time bro. Here is a link about the benefits of billberry:

After reading that, I don't see much synergy there to be honest. It looks like a good thing to take, but not going to do much for N2Slin IMO.

Right, that's what I was thinking. I don't see any problem taking them together. But I don't think bilberry really has any GDA or nutrient partitioner effects itself. So I can't say that it would really enhance the n2slin in the same way that something like gymnema would.

A ton of good info in this thread just keeps popping up. Keep it coming guys!

this was the study I found that peaked my interest.

Nutr. 2010 Mar;140(3):527-33. Epub 2010 Jan 20.Dietary anthocyanin-rich bilberry extract ameliorates hyperglycemia and insulin sensitivity via activation of AMP-activated protein kinase in diabetic mice.

Abstract

Blueberries or bilberries contain large amounts of anthocyanins, making them one of the richest sources of dietary anthocyanin. These berries are widely consumed as fresh and dried fruits, jams, or juices. Considerable attention has been focused on the health benefits of bilberry fruits beyond their antioxidant content or their ability to improve vision. In this study, we tested the effect of dietary bilberry extract (BBE) on hyperglycemia and insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetic mice. We found that dietary BBE ameliorates hyperglycemia and insulin sensitivity via activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). Dietary BBE significantly reduced the blood glucose concentration and enhanced insulin sensitivity. AMPK was activated in white adipose tissue (WAT), skeletal muscle, and the liver of diabetic mice fed BBE. This activation was accompanied by upregulation of glucose transporter 4 in WAT and skeletal muscle and suppression of glucose production and lipid content in the liver. At the same time, acetyl-CoA carboxylase was inactivated and PPARalpha, acyl-CoA oxidase, and carnitine palmitoyltransferase-1A were upregulated in the liver. These changes resulted in improved hyperglycemia and insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetes. These findings provide a biochemical basis for the use of bilberry fruits and have important implications for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes via activation of AMPK.

having a hard time decidineg between n2s, recompadrol, and slin sane.. as stated earlier. i use anabolic pump year round but woud like to to try something new.. n2s sounds great, but im worried about the na-r-ala bc it is also in glycobol and glycobol bloats the hell out of me... im thinking its the na-r-ala bc the other ingredients do not.

I've never heard of na rala causing bloat.h Remember glycobol also has berberine in it. Which DOES bloat me, along with causiong plenty of other GI issues. Not to mention the other downfalls of it. I think you'd be pleased with n2slin if you decide to give it a try. AP is also a great product, I took it for literally 4 or 5 years straight as well myself until I tried n2slin.

oh wow, I thought the only thing in AP was the tannis extract.

Lol nope! Phellodendren and lagerstrormia!! Soo I'm not sold thst berberine affects me negatively.. But I've noticed w other rala products like bloating/water retention, moon face etc! It's a shame bc I hear nothing but good about n2s! But I can't buy a bottle n risk it without some solid feedback here

Right, both Glycobol and AnabolicPump contain Berberine. Hard to tell how much is actually in AP though since it's a prop blend (% extract and amount). Regardless, I'd stay away from Berberine, it's shown to reduce protein synthesis and increase catabolism. It's not going to completely block protein synthesis, but it will be hurting it and not helping it. I know you've grown well with AP, but think if it had been holding you back.

I've never heard of Na-R-ALA causing bloating, only Berberine causes that. Personally I find the more concentrated the Berberine (like the Berberine HCL in Recompadrol) the worse off I am.

I always decide after I try. You do not need to decide anything right now. Get some samples of Need2Slin, try it, and then decide. That is what I did.

Yep, probably best to sample if you're concerned about it.

I will get some samps then... One cap pre meal (3 a day) sound good for maintenance of bf/ slight reduction ?

3 caps a day is exactly what I've been using for quite a while through my recomp, and I think its the best way to get the most out of your bottle. :)

sounds good.

Here is a little tip you might find useful.

Their sample pack contains samples of different products, but only one sample of Need2Slin. I e-mailed customer support and said that I am not interested in other products at the moment, but would like to try Need2Slin and that one sample is not enough to see how Need2Slin works for me. They substituted other products for Need2Slin, so I got 5 samples (which contain multiple servings) of Need2Slin.

Great customer service!

wow that's awesome . Thanks for the info and advice ... I just like to order my stuff all ajeadof time and have everything on hand when I begin a run... Therefore, the uncertainty of if I will like it or not is a problem bc if I DO like it, I will have towait for more to
Ship! Ooh it sucks being a virgo!

Yup, before you posted this I was going to suggest that you just simply send over an email and explain the situation just like that and that I'm pretty sure they would be willing to accommodate you. Nate and ntbm team over there are like that. They understand when someone wants to sample one of their products and are more than happy to give them the opportunity to do so and let them judge for themselves whether it's something they want to spend their hard earned dollar on.

What other company goes out of its way with samples like that?? ;)

Synephrine hcl is stimulant or no?
Yes, but by itself it has little stim effect IMO. Paired with caffeine and DMAA it has more of an effect.

Hope you enjoy your Need2slin bro, and I'm sure you will!!

Despite what some people say about nate on this board, (not going to mention names) he really does care about his customers. This is a perfect example. If he can do something to please a customer he will. stand up guy
