Myokem's Fantasy Football Challenge!

I'm so excited for this drafted. I'm in 3 three leagues this year, but I've never done a 16 team league. 12 is the most I've ever done. It's gonna be awesome tho, because there shouldn't be any stacked teams. Those late rounds will really make or break a team with this size league!

I'm in 6 leagues 3 of which are 16 reamers. I'm in the midst of draft number 2 today too lol

But this is gonna be fun! Especially when I woop Myokemist 's ass in two leagues. Trash talk for days

I'm in the same boat. Really curious to see how a 16 team league will play out. Should be a lot of fun and a very active waiver wire.

I hate not knowing where I'm drafting lol. I can usually have an idea of the guys who will be available in at least the top 3 rounds on a normal draft.

I think I'm 3rd

If I have to play anyone off my bench this year, I probably lost the league already. Just saying that up front

That was insane, everyone reached for QBs... I stayed true to my rankings, but dang.... My qb position isn't the strongest lol

Week 1 bruh!

Big point differential in qb tiers. I had 3rd pick and Brees was worth more than anyone else I would have had at 30. My WRs however, weren't too far off from any WR in round 1. And I sacrificed top RBs in favor of the PPR-types who may soften the blow a bit. My plan at least, let's see how it goes!

I am comfortable with my team as well.

That's solid, especially considering how the rest of rd 1 played out. I prlly would have still picked Forte at 5, but by rd 2 all the top tier and second tier QBs were gone. Just decided at that point to get depth at the other positions and see who was left. I wasn't gonna reach at Qb and screw the rest of my roster. Although, looking at McCown and Cassel, I'm second guessing my strategy lol. Feel great about my WRs and RBs tho.

I'm feeling great about my tight end...wanna guess who it is ;)

Jimmy right? I got Gronk, just hope he says healthy.
Yes the best part is the saints play him as a wide out most of the time. Gronk was to big of a risk for me, I don't believe he will stay healthy but who knows, I didn't think peyton manning would get killed in the Super Bowl either

Lol I'm really hoping I can take advantage of those weak quarterbacks week one before you find a solution Wolf. As for Gronk, something in me tells me he is in for a monster year. No real rationale, just a get feeling.

I was pretty happy with my team as well. got enough starting rb's, manning at qb, and cameron at te. wr's are so hit or miss that I hate to take anyone but megatron or brandon marshall cuz you know they get the ball every week

that was an interesting draft for sure, did it from my phone and kept losing service, i'd hate to see some of these starting rb tandems

Counting on PPR big time with my RBs

I would have gone this route more heavily if it was a full PPR. Who are your backs?

Pierre Thomas, Fred Jackson, Bernard Pierce, Jonathan Stewart, Shonn Greene

Dumb question incoming, when do our lineups have to be set each week? By the Thursday game?

Depends on who you want starting. A starter has to be in the starting lineup prior to the game starting. So only Thursday players have to be set by Thursday.

not sure how espn works but for the most part you can make changes as long as the team they are playing on has played yet.....for example if you have two players on monday night, one in the starting lineup and one on the bench you can change them, but you couldn't change one out for someone who's team already played

I believe it. Did you see him throwing all that money?! Dude was out of his mind

He was, which is why I think he did have Molly in his system. I do not believe he was drugged by someone else though. I've never had ecstasy, but I would assume if one never had it before, and was drugged, they would know something was wrong. Why wouldn't he call the NFL offices right away and say, "I think I was slipped a drug." Would the NFL just let him go with no suspension, who knows. But if they did suspend him, it would probably be for a lesser time period. I think it is a blessing in disguise for him. Gives his brain time to heal.

Y'all see there's a chance the Gordon and Welker suspensions might be dropped if the new drug testing policy is passed? It was reported it could be passed as early as tomorrow.

I saw they were working on a new policy, but was unaware of the potential dropped suspensions? Why would they drop them, they failed under the old rules?

For Gordon, he wouldn't have tested positive under the new policy's threshold is higher. For Welker, they moved amphetamines from PEDs to banned substances. Since Welker would be a first time violator on the substance abuse policy (and not an offender of the PED policy) he wouldn't be suspend because the first offense under the substance abuse policy is admittance into an abuse program and not a suspension.

I doubt Goodell utilizes the policy retroactively. If he does, he should increase Rice' suspension due to the new policy on domestic violence.

Well that's a good point, but ProFootballTalk reported that NFLPA may only accept the deal if they applied it to currently suspended players.

That's bs if they do. You knew the rules when you did that crap.

And ray rice should be suspended forever just for being on video. What a mistake that whole thing was by the nfl.
