LOL, it gets paper thin once really lean and dried out. Other than that some different angles on posing make a HUGE difference. Also Canadian Preparation H can help some, in the US it doesn't have the same ingredient any more. Then there is a research chemical called Thiomucase that is or was often used a couple days before hand that shrinks up the skin some. I have not looked for it since my show in 2009 so not sure where to get it now.

Yeah I'm officaly nervous on my conditoning at this point. Couple days over 5 weeks out and I feel like im still holding fat I should have left behind already. First show I lost SO much size to get to the condition i was in, and it think it was pretty good, maybe this go a little softer but bigger will play in my favor. I dunno.

Back Day - Had some gnarly back pumps towards the end of my session. Think its from the Meadows rows most likely.

If memory serves from the pics, you were far more conditioned than your competitors... so you could be right!
 
Monty, is that number on the Meadows row the weight on end of bar only or including the 45lb barbell? I've only done them a couple times but trying to see how my experience stacks up.

At your last show you could have come in with more size. Steve's decision to have you shrink down a bit more to be in the lower weight class was detrimental to some of your mass. Especially since you were already in very good condition when that decision was made. I think you might be surprised at the changes that can be made in the next 5-6 weeks. You get down to a dry 5% and you are going to look great for that show. You are tightening up at a pretty fast pace right now.
 
Wifes test results came back yesterday. Her adrenal glands are functioning properly it seems. Cortisol and prolactin both were in good range. Her free test being so low is most likely the cause of her symptoms I would guess. .3 is dog **** even for a woman and surely thats playing into the whole thing.

We still haven't had another biopsy done on her possible re-currance of cancer on her thyroid bed. The growth isnt large enough for any surgeon to remove at this point so, we wait and see if it grows.....she is terrified of needles and wont have the biopsy done even for peace of mind...mine OR hers. So we wait. Talk about ****ing stressed.

Anyways training today was chest and there wasnt a whole lot to it. Just some basic movements and only 4 exercises total. Really amazing pumps today and im starting to see more separation and striations in my upper body. Still fat but its getting better by the day.

Nice work don't let the scale get into your head Montana. You may have only dropped 3 lbs but you look to have dropped about 6 or 7 lbs of fat. I think you grew a little LBM in the process. Everything is MUCH tighter!

Oh I surly gained LBM during this prep. Happy where I'm at all things considered

In 5 weeks you will be right where you want to be. Just feels like you wont because you were almost ready a couple months out last time. Things are changing much faster this time around though.

Almost forgot.

Went to the chiropractor today. I go see a guy who is an ex martial artist and he is really knowledgeable. Also he's like 6'2 250 so he can actually pop me unlike most of the ones around here lol.

My hips were way off, like 3 inches from leg to leg but, got em evened out a bit. Will go one more time before the show and start making it a regular thing going forward.

Good morning good morning.

Things are trucking right along here. Got into the low 213's this morning. Added in some oats and berries to my last meal last night and removed the almond butter. Trying to get things moving a bit which worked.

Got a good 5 hours witht he CPAP on last night and woke up feeling much better today then the last few days. Also some clumpy G8 helped :)

Word of caution..... If you are using Vasoburn, be careful when applying to your lower stomach......it can get in places that you DONT want it and its NOT fun.
