Montego gets FREAKY

Made the decision today that in the upcoming weeks I would go on a bit of a deload. Joints are a little cranky and I need some time to get my "joint supps" loaded back in.

Yesterday I did a secondary shoulder day. Just simple stuff really.

Db shoulder press ss side laterals

Behind neck press ss front raises

Spider crawls ss db shrugs

Bent over laterals ss overhead flys

Today I did some light leg work just getting some blood in them and watching my knees

Leg press

Single leg press laying sideways

Sldl ss ham killers (talk about bad ideas lol)

Calf presses

I figure since my normal gym is changing locations ,half the crap in there is broke atm and not being fixed due to the relocation, the flood of new years people and the fact I've been going all out since August, this would be a good time to get some quick light sessions in. Let the new year begin!

Thank you. People like you deserve some kind of award. More people need to hear that society is tired of their crap. I don't know where people get such a sense of entitlement. Know your surroundings, and check the ego and you'll live a much happier life.
 
Tried some of this today with ten oz of lean ground turkey added in....Not bad at all.

Second deload day back and biceps. Everything was well short of failure and less then 50% normal load

One handed pulldowns

Hammer curls
 
But then again, he's only a kid and I would expect no less. Now, if it was a seasoned, exposed & experienced adult like Monte or Jr., that'd be a different story and should know better. Weren't you guys ever silly kids?

Honestly I tend to hate people, and have always felt that I'm a cut above the average in regards to being respectful and mindful of others/my surroundings. I don't have a lot of patience or pity for idiots.
 
Took yesterday off and slept all day. Really needed the rest and I might do the same today as well.

Weight holding around the 230 mark the last week and a half or so. I'll be digging around in my notes and might crank up a carb rotation for a bit. Have been mostly keto this last week to regulate insulin sensitivity so my first carb load should be a nice rush.

Yeah I still have my membership at 24 but it's free through work so I only go to the one in the woodlands on weekend nights before work.

This was at the Golds I train at regularly.

I was sure to wipe everything down and keep away from people lol.

Flat bench I did 225 for twelve just to see how the rest has treated me. Felt like I could have pushed out another six at least...weights just felt super light and that's without overloading the cns at all. Getting close to cranking it back up.

Yeah I've been really tempted to just get back in but it's all part of the process.

Not picking up a db over 35 lbs every session cab really make you feel puny lol.

Yep very boring indeed. Between the new people and my joints sounding like pop rocks it was time. I haven't had a break of any kind since last May. That's about when I started prep for the show and kept going till now.

I'm using a little stronger "joint relief" "supplement" that's got me holding a tad bit of water....gotta keep an eye on my prolactin as well using it :P

Anyways today I went to the gym and I felt fine going ahead and doing my deload......That's not good. When "slacking" becomes comfortable it's time to get back in gear , no matter the strategy, so I went back to work today. And back was the target of destruction.

Loop a mini band around that db and your feet/a bench/another db or weight on the floor and I promise you'll find the extra resistance you're looking for ;)

My one gym has 200s but the commercial gym I prefer to bench at (higher benches) only has 100's. But pressing Db's w/ a band behind your shoulders running up each arm hooked over your palms pretty much adds all you could need. A mini makes a good difference for me, and even the biggest guy would be good with an Average. Average is a sh*tload of resistance. Strong and the biggest ones are pretty much for guys who can squat over a grand in multiply gear.
