Micheal Jackson dead..

Farah Faucet got to heaven and God gave her one wish. She wished all the little boys in the world would be safe, God said I will grant you your wish. Then he struck MJ dead.
 
Not sure if this was mentioned, but Lou Ferringo was his personal trainer for a month before he passed away.

BTW give MJ some respect. In at least give some respect for the deceased. There is no full guarantee he did a damn thing. I have made my fair share of jokes, but when someone passes, out of respect you should hold your damn tongue. Has no one any honor or discipline left? Wait were in the 2000's, nvm -.-
 
Due to Michael Jackson being close to 90% plastic, his remains will be melted down and made into Legos so kids can play with him for a change.
 
I heard a pastor try to describe god once. He said god isn't male or female, black or white, not gay nor straight. Does that mean god is Michael Jackson???

Why should I respect someone just because they are dead if I had no respect for them when they were breathing?

It used to be even soldiers showed respect for the bodies of their enemies, back when wars were fought rightfully and with respect for mankind.

I duno, but I would show my respect to anyone's death. Death is a whole new experience, one most people get to go through once. It is especially a sad thing BECAUSE it was him. If he has done certain things, I feel he never had a chance to become right with a higher power. Which makes the death truly sad, and truly a loss, not a passing.

Weep for the lost, not for the found.

People can mad as they want. How many US soldiers died yesterday? Where are their front page headlines? Where are their threads on this forum? Where is their showing of compassion and sympathy? F*** THIS GROWN MAN THAT ADMITTED TO SLEEPING IN BED WITH LITTLE BOYS! It's the eqivalent of saying I didn't inhale. He fondled little boys. Good riddance, the world is a safer place without this sick monster no longer breathing.
 
The only thing about MJ that would make me feel sorrow for him is the fact that he never had the chance to be a child. That is what screwed him up so bad.

When I first heard I was like "oh dam that sux, whatever."

But It wasn't til I logged on and went to Yahoo for something (Yes i read the headliners) that I saw they had 4-5 friggin news headlines about this guy and I got pissed. WTF? Not one damm thing explaining on whats going on in Afghanistan or Iraq, North Korea, or anything that is important and matters. Once this guy died,... oh I mean "thing" that died, all news that mattered stopped, and here everbody... lets explain his life and what he stood for. Oh Plz.

That made me sick to my stomach. Oh and Im sorry Farah that you had little to no coverage on your death, especially after the "supposed" child abuser died.

On a side note, almost forgot to mention,..... His music did inspire and make history, ...that cant be denied. So goodbye to the "young" Micheal.

I agree. His childhood was tragic. His father had him literally so afraid of him it made him sick. Very sad but doesn't make his actions, which were conscious decisions, excusable.

just my 2c or 2p worth......

Of course we are all entitled to our own opinion of the man or anyone else. Be it good / bad / uncertain / proven / unproven etc. And it is good we can freely express said opinion.

However....

Having had to explain to two bereaved families this week why acute surgical disease had claimed a young and an old man, I am reminded that for whoever is gone, a major player on the world stage or not, there are parents, siblings, offspring, partners, friends etc whose world has just been torn apart.

Whatever I think of the man, my sympathies are with his loved ones.....

Well said. Someone loved him and I sympathize for their pain. I am not heartless. I just think it is disgusting he is like a martyr. Everyone has good and bad in them. I spent 4 years in prison and befriended people that did horrible things (murderers, rapists, etc.). I have three convicted murderers in my family I can honestly say I love and there are people that wish the worst for them and rightfully so. I am just baffled to say the least that MJ is so worshipped and loved by the world considering he was twice accused of molestation. These weren't just any old kids either. They were sick kids. It is disgusting, but hey, maybe he was innocent. I do not believe that he was. One accusation, ok, but two after he admitted to sleeping in bed with little boys and settled out of court with the civil cases for multi millions of dollars. I mean c'mon. That says a lot. Something that heinous most people wouldn't settle out of court. They would fight tooth and nail to prove their innocence.

Just watched the BBC ten o'clock news. 20 out of 30 mins on mj. Nothing on farah. To be fair they did deal with the allegations and his childhood or lack of it....

This is very easy for you to say since you're not in a position of having to deal with media or for that matter a lucrative career. Anyway, you do have a right to your opinion. The other thing is many folks loved his music and his contribution to the music industry not his so called lifestyle.

The fact is, if they had a shred of evidence that linked him to child molestation, his ass would've been UNDER the jail. But they didn't and a lot of people got rich because of it. Where is the outrage for Elvis' pedophilia? Jerry Lee Lewis was not only a pedophile but incestuous to boot. These people are all revered but you turn up your noses at this guy? Jerry Fucking Seinfeld was with a 17 year old! These people have done it as a matter of FACT. Jackson was only accused and then found to be not guilty. Hypocrites!

If they had a shred of evidence? I guess there wasn't a shred of evidence to convict OJ either. A guilty verdict comes based on what side puts up the better argument, not evidence. That's why innocent people have been on death row and guilty people walked. If you can afford the better lawyer you win. A shred of evidence isn't enough. It has to be beyond a reasonable doubt. Create reasonable doubt and child molesters and murderers walk.

OJ was not convicted because of the botched investigation and evidence tampering. That opened up the door for "reasonable doubt" and rightfully so.
The defense saw an opportunity and seized it. This is the problem when people only know bits and pieces but try to act as an authority. Think about how serious the US takes child abuse. Do you REALLY think they would just acquit this guy if there was a bit of a chance that he did something? You seem to forget that they COMPLETELY discredited the parents who were also found to have tried scamming money before and showed a history of this behavior. That's why he was acquitted. He payed off other families to not have this type of stuff public because, whether you did it or not, it stays attached to you and it is not good for the franchise that is/was MJ. Look at all of the ignorant things that have been said in this thread alone. Word gets out and all sorts of people try to cash in. That's just the way it is.

Do I respect him and what he stood for ?? NO. Do I respect what he's accomplished in the music world, the talent he had and the ability to entertain millions ?? YES. Thank you MJ for those years of revolutionizing Pop music, especially during the 80's. May God have mercy on your soul though.
 
It's just jokes people, lighten up. I'm pretty sure we feel bad for his family that he died. I know I do. But the jokes are funny. However what he did to those kids wasn't so funny.

And let's not be naive here, I don't believe for a second he's innocent, acquittal or not.

OJ got acquitted.
 
We lost three celebrities this week people. One fought for his country and rose to the level of a Corporal. (Ed McMahon) One fought a long battle with cancer and chose to share her story to the world in an effort to help others. (Farrah Fawcett) The third fought charges of child molestation (by paying his accusers off) and was a known prescription drug abuser. Most in the world choose to honor the last one, what a sad reflection on who society holds in high regard.
