Im looking at the keto thing now. I actually found a high protein keto diet, and I like it. Fat needs to burn, but Ive worked hard for what muscle I have built.

That would be the whole point of what I said....LOL you would keep your muscle and burn your fat....LOL
 
You are getting close my man. Just keep it up and STICK WITH what you want to do for awhile and see if it works for you. You are working hard man
 
Went ahead and dosed 2 capsules again this morning, at 0530 while getting ready for work. Breakfast was a Gaspari Neapolitan shake with vanilla Unsweetened almond milk. Lunch was a shake with water and Mediterranean style tuna. Hitting the gym here shortly. But the key things for today, still no jitters, clean energy, and about had to force myself to eat the tuna. Just wasnt "hungry" as I normally would be. Also, 219.1 this morning, so down a pound. My water intake has increased dramatically, and my bladder is reminding me of that every 30 fricken minutes. Lol.

Yes sir. Just dont know which ill use. Just received 2 types from Chaos and Pain. 1 is a stim, the other is a non stim pump product. Decision decisions

got to hit the stim to try it out. unless you have legs today. then I would pass on the stim.

It's not produced anymore, got banned. Too many injuries while inserting the Unicorn-horn to get the test into the colon.

Did a lot of keto approaches myself. Never again. As soon as ketosis hits (day3-5) I'm fainting -or almost fainting. Not good.

Yeah- Studhorse I was trying to tell him all about Mike Mentzer and how he was possibly losing strength because he needs to reduce volume and allow for more recovery on such a caloric deficit. I could tell he was getting sick of hearing me say, "Mentzer" and he just said, "What if I just go back to HST?" And I can't really argue with that - HST works pretty well.

It's almost impossible for me to gain LBM while doing a keto diet... some people claim they gain some mass while doing keto by getting strategic with meal timing... remember that protein will illicit a slight insulin response AND while in keto, you are incredibly insulin sensitive. Once you get adapted you can play around with carb volume and timing.. I've gone as high as 70g carbs without getting kicked out of keto. For me, i don't do keto long enough to really get adapted and a get good assessment of how my body responds to the diet with respect to hypertrophy. As skeptical as I am of being able to bulk while in keto, it seems possible if your in a kcal surplus, but at that point I'm not sure you'd be loosing body fat at a rate that would justify not eating carbs..

It really shines as a diet to cut fat and retain muscle... trying to get gains might be expecting too much from it IMO.

Exactly what I think of keto. If you do a lot of cardio it can be awesome for fat loss. Also the fact that you can eat as much as you want (meat+fat) sounds great.
I'm not a cardio guy -knowing you will not gain muscles on it (or at least very difficult) AND the carb cravings are too much to handle for me.
