First, let me say that math is not my strong suit, I'm a history major.
I bought a rice cooker finally and decided to make some rice for the week. I used 10 servings of dry rice, each serving is 49 grams. So total, I had 490 dry. Once the rice was cooked, I ended up with 1,218 grams cooked. So it's roughly roughly 2.49 grams of added weight. So, would I be correct in assuming 49 grams now equals 122.01 grams? Sorry, for the stupid, elementary question.
For those that need a visual
Started with 490 grams, ended with 1,218 grams. Dry serving size is 49 grams.
1,218/490=2.49
2.49x49-122.01
