Unanswered Matthersby log: Old man on a mission

Matt is a heavy aromatiser. Lets not start to spread around that test will get everyone’s prolactin out of ranges it’s very uncommon.

Doc forgot to add it with bloods back in August while I was on npp. So it may have been elevated since then as I haven’t taken much Prami over the last 6 months at all. No symptoms of high prolactin.
 
And I’m the gayest straight guy out there. So all the accusations do have some validity. I just super love vagina and could spend all day buried in one. But once I get sick of those, I’m moving onto other things!

This week is a bad combo of too much carbs and too much insulin will make you look smaller despite gaining weight. Good God! Look at that overfed belly! That’s what eating clean 4200 cals looks like. 5 more weeks of pushing hard for quality muscle and then I get to try to show what muscle I have and lose this belly.

I agree, youre just bigger and more full looking. Abs looking clear and prominent. Once you cut back some of the carbs and lose a little gut bloat you'll be looking sick. I seriously think you will place well in a MP show and you already have enough size to cut down with. Another 5 weeks is just extra.

Don't beat yourself with thoughts like that man, when I jump in this thread from time to time (I don't know why it doesn't show me notifications anymore), the only thing I see here is consistency, hard work and most important steady progress!

Thanks brother. It’s getting a lot harder lately and I didn’t expect that since it was still pretty easy in my late 30s. Just gonna keep pushing since I’m gonna get a break from eating in a little over a month. Your guys support is just what I needed.
 
No joke, I’m really doing everything I can to get the most out of this last 5 weeks. Yesterday I was a meal behind and couldn’t force down any more at my last meal, so I went to bed and set an alarm for 90min later, woke up slammed a shake and 6 rice cakes. I’m getting my damn food in every day!

yeah this. Test and deca (300/300) and my prolactin was low with no caber - it’s just so individual

Man there’s some good bros here. @Godstrength thanks my friend. I’m excited for the next phase, my stomach hurts but I’ve got a month to really put on a lot of last minute muscle so I’m not planing on wasting one minute of it.

just been mad busy and struggled to get on here as much. Lots of travelling, home stuff, jan at my gym always adds to it, you know the script bro lol.

Looking good man and if you are bloated it isn't obvious to me at all. If it is there then it must be all to the front and not fat just food belly from always being full.

8iu humalog post work out
Test 550/week
Mast 585/week
EQ 600/week (not really sure why since we deload and come off everything in 5 weeks)
Aromasin 12.5 eod
Nolva 10/daily
Probably forgetting something but this is the bulk of it.

I start prep in 5 weeks or so, so really going to push hard, train my ass off without skipping and eat until I can’t eat anymore.

Looks like Tommy really taught you the importance of eating consistently. It seemed like that’s what you struggled with most before. Accountability is big, and it’s working for you. I also think it’s great you’re at such a healthier place with the AI usage. Getting rid of all that constant Letro is big for your arteries longterm. Your pecs look awesome as ever, and the proof is right in the mirror.

Does Tommy not understand the 8 week clearance rate of EQ, or is he just cool with starting your prep on some I suppose?

All good things. I think for what I pay him, I’ve gained so much more than what I compensate him for. Even if his choice of EQ makes no sense. I know he is aware of how long EQ takes since he uses it often, but he still thinks it will benefit me in a short period for some reason. But I’m trusting him since he hasn’t steered me wrong yet. He’s made adjustments based on my response to the training and competing MP, that he wouldn’t have if he wasn’t paying close attention.

He’s got me usually doing these movements but it changes every phase:

Incline smith press -sometimes pause rest
Slight dumbbell decline press
Dips
Sternal cable fly
Hammer dumbbell 70’ flye (best exercise I’ve ever tried for upper inner chest)

He knows his stuff with competition classes as his choices for exercises are geared toward emphasizing capping shoulders, full chest and lat width. Just what MP is looking at.
 
Over 6 ft, 250 lbs, lean and mean. Nuff said. Don’t shortchange yourself this is the most jacked I’ve seen you to date.

Ive heard some big boys thought process of throwing in the eq for shorter duration for the benefit of increasing appetite on bigger and longer cycles or bridges where food consumption is necessary. I suspect with the amount of food and number of meals he has you consuming, eating can start to feel like a chore. Maybe the eq will help some with that.

You're putting your feet to the fire- 10 toes down, dug in and slanging that iron to hit your mark. And I mean life in general theres so many talkers out there. Damn bro. That’s some great words and this is exactly why I’m here. Because my friends here GET IT. This is something that will plague me if I don’t try to do it once. The only hobby I’ve enjoyed for 20 years and have followed more closely than anything other than skateboarding. I think what these athletes do takes so much discipline and determination. Just the low level stuff I’m doing has taken total tenacity and an obsessive amount of hard work. It’s just a dream to start where all the athletes I admire started, with a local show. I just want to do it the once and know I’ve gotten in the best shape of my life and have pics to show my grandkids.
Outside of here, I get giggles, blank stares, friends and family saying they don’t get why, they think it sounds stupid, they can’t fathom why I would put myself through it. It drives me insane and I have no one to talk about it with. And it’s the biggest deal to me. It takes up so much of my thoughts and energy. I’ve been wanting to do this since 2010.

It’s an incline flye with your hands in the hammer curl position it works frontal delts but oddly works the part of the chest that seems to get missed a lot. That and cable flyes set at shoulder height without using handles thumbs facing each other like a Chinese finger torture knuckles facing out like punching(pronate?)
Both have seriously brought up a very lacking part of my chest that incline presses won’t even touch.

My medieval torture trainer has me doing it with 99% clean eating so it was all chicken and rice all 4000 cals of it. There were days I couldn’t breathe after pushing down food I wanted to puke up. A couple cheats a day and these cals would’ve been quite easy to get in

You look good at least. Not sure how big a difference it would be if using different foods or macro splits, but at least the results you have achieved are quality. You know it’s working.
