Major Spoiler Shogun/Machida

Yes as soon as someone told me Daley punched Koscheck late I was like I PRAY they cut him. I have no opinion towards Daley and honestly dont like Koscheck except for the fact he is a wrestler but u cant be doing shiit like that. That just fuels people's fire to say MMA is just like "pro" wrestling bullshiit.

I knew Daley was gone the moment it happened. Especially after how Dana railed on SF for being a third rate organization for that brawl, Dana was certainly going to make a serious example out of that situation.

Exactly. I told everyone right around me oh **** hes gone for good. Dana won't allow that after calling strikeforce so bootleg and such. All the mayhem miller stuff. Dana loves Jake shields now. I can't believe that Daily would do that. I have lost all respect for him. Kos I guess said crap to him on the ground. I am thinking you Brits fuking suck at wrestling you little bitches hahahaha.

Did anyone else watch MMA Live on ESPN(2)?

Wasnt too bad had the fighters come and do a little interview after everyone had cleared out. Kos said he was def talking some shiit the last minute or so of the fight :pokey:
 
kimbo looked his age there. he also looked a lot smaller and less jacked. hes either off the juice or his trainers dont let him weight lift like he used to because of oxygen and getting hurt and such.

Haha I like Kos he doesn't bother me. Thats funny what he did and really stupid what Dailey did. Seriously he couldn't handle an ass whipping.. Imagine if dailey fought GSP. Would be worse than hardy vs gsp IMO. He just made himself look like a bitch.

Kimbo actually put on 10 lbs for this fight, though he would have been better dropping 10 and fighting in light heavy. Either way he was just going to keep losing in the UFC to guys who have decent leg kicks. I'm a Kimbo fan just for his attitude during all of this, but he doesn't belong in the UFC

hmmm im not sure, kimbo was officially 225 for this fight. i think before (elite xc and such) he was listed at 235. none of that matters tho if you got tiny little chicken legs and 15 years of smoking crack. he's a cool dude and was just trying to feed his family but looks like its back to working security on porn shoots for him. orrrr maybe strikeforce vs. hershel walker?? hahaha
 
I think they will slowly build Machida back up as he is quite marketable. Maybe against Forrest when he returns. However, SHogun has a litany of challengers for him

Rashad/Rampage winner (Rashad is a bad matchup for him IMO)

Agreed.

LHW is a relatively competitive division (unlike the talent discrepancies of WW and MW and the freakness discrepancy of HW).

Certainly. I think realistically, Machida is still the number one contender as far as talent is concerned.

As far as having his first loss, he'll either get a severe mind-fack, or wost case scenario, it's his GSP/Serra loss and he comes back with the ability to levitate due to ungodly improvements.

I don't like Rashad or Rampage vs Shogun really. Rampage's kryptonite are leg kicks (which happen to be Shogun's strong suit) and Rashad's chin isn't exactly Big Nog status in PRIDE.

I doubt Anderson will fight Shogun, only because I don't think Anderson would want to stand at the pillar of Machida's division. I think Anderson just wants to fight big fights, but could careless about another division's belt, particularly Machida's LHW division. Nonetheless, in my opinion, Anderson wins, unless Shogun becomes a master TD expert. I don't think anyone in the UFC is beating Anderson on his feet. You'd need someone the size of Chael Sonnen, but with the TD speed & timing of GSP.

Jon Jones has potential, but we'll see how he continues to progress against tougher competition.

205 is my favorite by far.

heavy is pretty solid. Its greating seeing cain and carwin hold it down. I hope Nog gets another win soon. maybe mir nog rematch? Anyway it will be fun to see lesner back. cant wait to see dos santos as well maybe vs that freak who got the 6 second ko or whatever after he wins another fight.

155 is the only division thats just decent. Not to bad of problems but too small of guys for my likings. i love the old wars with stout and fisher as well as garcia and hureta.



Page vs Evans will be great, can't wait too see the next title fight.



Any words on when they are making some 5 round non title fights?????
 
Ya Todd Duffee fights on the next card I think. The jacked looking beast heavyweight who KOed a guy in 7 seconds lol.

I know who you're talking about, his Avi was a back pose, right. He matches the description as well, but that wasn't Thomas. I don't think Thomas knew we had an MMA section, but I know who you're talking about. He popped up out of nowhere, started bashing and talking **** to everyone, then disappeared.

The logical next fight for Shogun is Rampage/Rashad, but I'm praying for a Rog Nog/Shogun II.
 
I'm not excited about Shogun/Rampage II as the first one was so lop-sided. Granted, it was 5 years ago, but I feel that Rampage has become too obsessed with a 1-punch KO.

That may already be the unofficial schedule. I believe winner of Rampage/Rashad is set for Shogun and Lil Nog gets a shot after that.

Lil Nog/Shogun is the most interesting match up.
