Actually he was more like one of my children. He was my bassett hound, Sebastian. He was 12 years old and Tuesday he had an accident, he fell coming in from outside, he fell backwards off the steps and slipped a disk. This left him down in the back hips. We tried to give him some anti inflamatories to ease the swelling and see if that would get him back on his feet but it didn't. So today I had to do the hardest thing I have ever had to do, take something I care about to be put to sleep.
I still remember the day that we brought him home, the little 7 lb big earred mess maker... He never met anyone that he didn't like and loved kids, to the point he would be a pain in the ass when kids were around but now that he is gone, it is very strange to not have him sitting at my feet or my wife's feet. Just wanted to tell you guys what a good dog he was and that he will be missed
