Pretty rough DOMS today. I forgot to take my agmatine before bed. Took wine instead lol. Only 6 hours of sleep, gotta work early tomorrow. Trained fasted this morning, will be getting lots of sleep tonight. Update with bench press training tomorrow.
 
Training was rough, wine plus little sleep plus morning fasted training is hardly a recipe for success! Holiday over so back to business as usual. Slept for 8 hours, deep and solidly. Took the DivaMAX and Agmatine before bed so that helped. Plan on doing some conditioning today. I am going to take 3g. Citrulline with my bcaa's to give me a little endurance boost. Suffering pretty bad DOMS from my brutal squat day.

My diet is at least 235 protein, its what I weigh, about 106 fat, and the rest of calories in carbs. Usually oats and sweet potato. Calories are around 3100. Got a good 9.5 hours of sleep last night. Squat day today!

I was getting fantastic results, they kind of leveled out though. I've been pushing it pretty hard lately so we'll see. Deadlift day tomorrow!!!

As for today I did

20 minute elliptical, pretty slow
Farmer walks with 95 lb db's for 3 gym circuits

45 plate Overhead walk
Treadmill "hill sprints"

I really think the addition of 3g. Citrulline made a difference. I wasn't too winded and recovery between doing things was good.
 
Made sure to get good sleep and recovery. Paid off tenfold. Sleep, food, and BioCor stack gave me the deadlift PR I've been chasing. Give your body what it needs and it will give you the performance you need!

adding strength to triceps has always been key to boosting my bench. i like the old rope a dope too for forearms and wrists. i was told a long time ago that huge bi's are mostly for show, true strength comes from the tri's.
 
when i get stuck on a number on bench, i either change to DBs or I change my scheme. ill do stuff like DC, super sets, drop sets, wide grip....etc something i really like is DB flat super set with close grip bench

I'm officially out of BioCor Agmatine!! DivaMAX getting down there too. So let's talk about it.

DivaMAX: mood is good, libido is good. Gains are happening, belt is loosening. Took me a long while to feel affects.

Agmatine: gave me increased vascularity, a mild pump, on .5 g dose that is. Got my blood flowing, helped with recovery by way of analgesic effects. Good for lifting and good for sleeping.

Agmatine is a pain fighter. This can be beneficial to the athlete in two ways:
It can potentiate the effects of analgesics used during recuperation from injury.
It has the potential to aid post-workout recovery.
Agmatine enhances insulin production leading to better insulin response. This allows for positive effects in attaining body composition goals. Better insulin response means a harder and leaner more muscular body.
Agmatine acts on various hypothalamic and pituitary peptide hormones such as LH and GH. These will have subsequent effects on other hormones like IGF-1. Control of the hormonal environment of the athlete and you will perform better, look better and feel better.
Agmatine possesses anxiolytic (relieves anxiety) and antidepressant properties offering potential control of cortisol levels in the stressful life of the athlete.
Agmatine modulates nitric oxide (NO) through different ways. It stimulates some types of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) while inhibiting others. This is essential to the proper functioning of the polyamine biosynthetic pathways.
Agmatine acts on catecholamine (Epinephrine > Norepinephrine > Dopamine) release. These endogenous compounds are part of nearly every action in the body. Most notably for the athlete is the role that this compound would ultimately have in both energy production and aiding anticipation of the stress afforded by competition. However, there are also well-established roles that epinephrine can have on the body that includes:
Increasing endurance
Enhancing performance
Decreasing body fat
Agmatine has an antioxidant role. There can be no greater source of free-radical build up than that seen in the day-to-day activity of the athlete. The sheer stress that the body takes on when in you're an athlete in the trenches (i.e. - the gym, the field, etc...) could ultimately have significant detrimental effects with continued build up. Agmatine can offer protection from the undesired effects that free radicals can have on the body.
For the athlete desiring body composition change, Agmatine has an independent role of insulin and testosterone management on lipid (fat) metabolism. Agmatine possesses nootropic effects (it acts as a "novel" neurotransmitter). This can offer the athlete a potential mental edge to prepare for various events.
Agmatine can aid in kidney function by stimulating the glomerular filtration rate (GFR). This can bode the bodybuilder well as various nitrogenous waste products are removed through this system.
Agmatine harbors a hypotensive role which could assist the exogenously-enhanced athlete in keeping blood pressure in check.



Divanill info:
A high-potency extract of stinging nettle root. Most of your circulating testosterone is bound or inactive. A plasma glycoprotein called Sex-Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) binds up most of your testosterone so that it cannot exert any anabolic effect. 3,4 Divanill knocks out SHBG allowing your own testosterone to be free. This is significant because SHBG-bound testosterone can not exert its muscle-building effects.

Pretty happy with training yesterday. Great recovery, lats are destroyed from nonstop training them for days(Sat, Sun, Mon.) lol. Did some conditioning Sunday.
Took creatine and citrulline before hand because I planned on doing a little lifting. Amazing bicep pump and endurance, felt like I could have went for another hour. Lats and hips pretty wore out from the farmers walks, forearms got hammered hard.

supps hit people in different ways, i think you are a heavy divanill responder like i am....some of us seem to get bigger results from certain stuff than others, i have loved divanill since i 1st tried it!!!

at any rate glad you are getting great results!!!
 
I actually think I'm feeling the effects of not taking it. With the exception of those squats strength seems slightly lower recently. Update coning in the morning from today's training.

Felt pretty good going into training, had massive squat DOMS from squat day. Still have some minor DOMS today from it. Training endurance was really good yesterday, good pump and recovery! Press reps were a little low for my liking on top set, not sure if not taking DivaMAX for awhile is starting to affect me or just PR squat day recovery still happening. At any rate I put solid work in and put a lot of weight over my head repeatedly.
