Lets review. What supplements are absolutely worth the money?

As far as specific supplements outside of the basics/staples/bulk:

UR-spray
Anabeta Elite
Man Clout
7-Spray
Ultimate T
Lgi fully loaded
Joint Force
Garden of Life Colon Care

Out of the hundreds of things I used, those what stood out the most that are still available. On a stack of Man Clout, UR-Spray, and Anabeta Elite and it's probably one of the best natty stacks I have ever run.

New Erase Pro looks good but haven't used it

Appreciate that. I was more-so curious about the Indigo 3-G. Anybody have experience with that? I'll look into that Intra-MD. Is it more of a post workout carb source, but also used to aid in recovery/reduce DOMS?
 
If the funds are there, get it. Definitely brought me back to my set point.. now I'm just cruisin adding muscle. I throw in plazma and mag 10 for convenience.. Love um.

Indigo-3G worked great for me in terms of muscle glycogen storage. I went up 3lbs within 10 days of using it at the end of a cut and strength went up significantly as expected. If it were cheaper, I'd make it a staple.

Intra-MD is to be taken during workout, hence the name but I take it before as it is all the same for me. The benefit of the carb in it is that it does not bloat/sit heavy in the stomach. It is a full essential amino acid product also, meaning it contains all EAAs unlike most products in the category that lack tryptophan. It reduces DOMS for some, but not for me because I don't get any.

I'm pretty skeptical about supplements, but I still use A LOT. It's ironic that you would say a multi-vitamin and desiccated liver tablets are worth it, but almost nothing else is. Actually, if you're eating so well, the multi is probably not at all necessary.

But, you are right, most supps are overblown and people expect too much from them. And most will be disappointing because of that.

I'll say that for non-bodybuilding purposes, things like L-Tryosine, L-Carnitine and Ashwagandha have impressed me greatly. I'm a big fan of large doses of Vitamin C also, which may just be hype.

If you can only buy one thing and your 30 or 40 years old or more, Fish Oil is probably one of the first things you should get.

-rhodiola
-methyl folate
-fulvic acid
-forskolin 95
-lecithin granules (PA, PS, choline)
-transdermal reservatol/curcumin/5a-hydroxy laxogenin
-citrulline malate

There's many more, but most of those are staples for me.

3. Sardines/clams/oysters
4. Wild ruminates flesh/organs
5. Wild squirrel/coon/gamebird flesh/organs
6. Mushrooms and extract products
7. Cruciferous vegetables/extracts (DIM , I3C etc.)
8. 7 keto
9. Celltech

Lol, when I hear the nutty vegan vegetarian types (not all vegan or vegetarians are nutty) talk about how bad meat is for people and when you look at them . . . They look like absolute utter hell. They are scrawny, their skin looks crappy and they look old and tired.

Sorry to digress, but something about your comments reminded me of that.

Protein in various forms, vitamin C in a bit larger doses than some of the "brainiacs" here suggest who incidentally typically recommend horrible levels of vitamin D and other not so good stuff. Vitamin D in moderate doses and K2 are a staple. Fish oils. Lots of good hydration and plenty of exercise is a key to anti-aging.

I like:

Orange Triad vitamins

OL Conqu3r original and Demigod were best PWOs I have had in years and I grew up teething on the real PWO stuff like Hot Stuff and that orange stuff back in late 80s and early 90s through the original craze phase to present. Just got 3 tubs of Conqu3r Unleashed in yesterday.

I like Focus as it seems to keep my 48 year old mind functioning okay which I need being a lawyer.

Quest protein bars are a good snack.

I am cool with BSN Syntha 6 protein powders.

Highly recommend 1 EmergenC packet a day for us older guys. All of my anti-aging doc friends and esthician friends take 1 or 2 daily.

I reasonably liked Alphamine and Norcodrene is so so.

I personally don't need a lot of gimmickie stuff. I can add and shred large amounts of weight quickly naturally. I candidly think a lot of the gimmickie supps and anabolics over the long haul make it more difficult to naturally hold an optimal physique and body fat %, at least that is my observation since the late 80s and having most of my friends go various routes while I stayed mostly natural as a professional athlete.

Yep, wifey is an endo and dietician that primarily works with professional athletes (mostly baseball and football) rehabbing injuries or who are just seeking to optimize themselves through long seasons and nagging injuries.

She is Russian and got her 4 year degree and her special degree (equivalent to masters) at Novosibirsk University, but did med school here.

She is a big proponent of Rhodiola which is been much more of a staple in Russia for years. She also recommends large doses of C among many other things . . .

God knows she has kept me young and active after 6 knee surgeries, broken femur, cracked trochanter, broken and dislocated shoulder and 2 rotator cuff surgeries.

Lol, she has many other Russian/European endo views and suggestions for the athletes that US endos neither comprehend nor practice . . .

Additionally 2 specific things:
1. Cycle on & off the Rhodiola? Been using a supp called Rhodiola recharge mainly just in btw runs of Norco & prior to that OxyMax XT
2. In what way does she advise using vitamin C? I used to take it post workout but then stopped, as I read that it blunts cortisol (which we want spiked post-workout).

European endocrinology, anti-aging and dietary practices are a lot different. Depends on need. Very broad question.

I met her 10 years ago after a real bad femur break in South Africa surfing Dungeons. She adjusted hormones, diet and used bone stimulation and HGH among other things and got me back much quicker than standard American medicine would have. She is somewhat limited here as opposed to back Russia or some countries in Europe . . ., but she still tinkers with
xy axis in other ways when here in the states to address injuries and old age crap.

Another example is vitamin D. A while back people here, reps and Supp companies were pushing large doses of D which is dumb without bloods or baseline for anyone. Unlike American doctors who use the mega doses for people with osteo or very low levels, she is very anti large doses of D because it simply throws your body out of homeostasis which defeats the purpose or optimization and potentially causes other problems. There is much more to D than just low blood levels and young healthy people taking large doses is not smart. Some D, however, combined with K is a great idea.

I am not on here much, but shoot me a pm with a specific question. I can try and run it by her.

I take 1 or 2 EmergenCs a day. She does a lot of IV stuff that is very controlled and based on bloods and what she is treating. I only get IVs once a month. About to hit gym, drop 4 year old off and meet up with some clients who are in town for CMA stuff. Shoot me a pm and I will tell you what my IV therapy consist of and ask her about Rhodiola. I only take it when sick, run down, at our place in Salida, Colorado or when traveling a whole lot.

Oh read your post wrong. Vitality by OL is creatine and betaine and super cheap right now

I always assume that CellTech is implied so I never mention it, everyone uses it right?

Why state "wild" squirrel? Where would one find domesticated squirrel?

Sandy on SpongeBob was pretty domesticated. Could breath under water too. Best friends with a talking sponge though. These squirrels and their drugs....

Thanks. You just cost me $45. At 5 for a month's supply, I had to buy 8 of these. It will also keep me from trying Ergonine for a bit longer...but I'm using High Volume and Amino IV so with the Vitality, and the L-Carnitine I take normally, I've got most of the basis covered for a while...thanks for the heads up.
