Kratom strains

If you want to really amp up your Kratom, try one of these two methods..

1.) Take 2 tablets of Tagamet/Cimitedine HCL 15-30 minutes before dosing your Kratom
2.) Take 600-1000mg of Curcumin 15-30 minutes before dosing your Kratom

Cimitedine is known to potentiate a wide range of drugs from caffeine to prescription drugs. It does the same for Kratom and as an added bonus, has some research pointing to faster fat loss. As for curcumin, I can only speculate that it ties up the cytochrome P-450 enzyme. Whatever the case, you'll get more out of your kratom this way...
 
Helps a lot with decreasing my anxiety and depression. Whites work better for depression but make my anxiety really bad. Reds help more with anxiety but doesn't help with depression. Green malay is a perfect balance between the two for me.

I like your yellow a lot, but it's pretty short lived for me. It's still a good strain to keep on hand IMO. It's also great as a mixer.
 
I've read a lot recently about Kratom causing low t and adrenal fatigue. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Not sure by which mechanism would be even plausible. Low t from Kratom? New one on me. Adrenal fatigue... perhaps not true adrenal fatigue, just lacking the "oomph" Kratom's green/white strains can give you. Discontinue use, and you'll "feel it" in that respect.

I would be very surprised to learn this is true adrenal fatigue. That would be more likely in the case of heavy CNS stimulants such as caffeine, ephedrine, DMAA, DMHA etc..

i imagine it's not the actual kratom itself but the opiate receptor binding it shares with opiates. I believe opiates abuse can lead to diminished testosterone production.

This is correct. Also, it can change the way you respond to natural dopamine.

I believe this 100%. When I take Kratom several times a week, I notice a down feeling and slight disorientation similar to dopamine depletion. L-tyrosine or Sam-e helps mitigate this.

I would also suggest huperzine a in a 2 week on off cycle to help if you feel you need kratom.
 
Oh, I don't need it, I just love it. Hands down, one of the most amazing natural anxiolytics and feel good supplement you can take.
 
I'm sure I've asked this, but has anyone tried Kratom and Phenylpiracetam together? I'm planning on finally picking some up to try with Kratom on a hike next weekend.

Kratom has different types of alkaloids in it. One being a stimulant the other a sedative. Hence different effects from different strains. Its the stimulant that causes the adrenal problems. Once you've been on for sometime and come,off the body goes pretty haywire. This is my firsthand experience. Its different from opiates but has some similar wd symptoms. And the diminished test production, drive and libido issues are very similar to opiates.

2 g isnt much. Take the whole thing. If you experience an energy boost and feel good,it was enough. If you don't its bc you didn't take enough. Usually 3-5 grams is sweet spot for first time users.

And make sure to take it on an empty stomach

5 grams is minimum effective dosage.... unless that were talking about extracts. i doubt you will feel anything. but report back and let us know. do it with an empty stomach and drink plenty of fluids

I also got a free sample of "white vietnam" from some company ("O.B."). I used the whole sample with some green tea. Ive never been "high" before, but I would imagine its the same feeling I felt for about 3 hours afterwards. Also felt a little energy kick. Good stuff.

At MHK PR Maeng da is a white strain.
Now when first starting kratom i will suggest starting with 2-3gr for the first time. If you start with a recommended dose of 6gr. It might be to strong, cause nausea, make you sick or throw up. By starting at the lower 2-3gr mark. It will be more subtle and easier on the stomach. Also, many people have to get use to drinking or chugging it. The lower dose will help with this also.

Sounds good, thanks. Same place. And the sample weighs 9 grams, including the thin, plastic zip-loc bag - so I'm sure there's at least 5g in there.
 
Kratom saved my life. It keeps me off the opiates/dope and is way better than being on suboxone. I take it daily...it's the best. I prefer maeng da from mile high. Get a kilo at a clip and lasts for a couple months. I share with my lady and a couple coworkers. Helped a colleague kick suboxone as well. He only doses eod. My liver enzymes and kidney function are normal when I get blood work(even with the gear). I'm a huge advocate...granted I take higher doses; 7.5g about 3xs a day, 4 if I'm pulling 20hrs. 4-6g is a good sweet spot for newbs. I feel a lot of people under dose and become supremely underwhelmed.
 
Besides agmatine, two more supplements that may help with tolerance:

Personally, I take fresh ginger daily in my morning greens shake and it has helped with nausea (carsick on long drives...yes, I'm 40 and still get carsick).

I've also recently started taking bacopa at night before bed and have noticed stronger effects from kratom taken in the morning (seems to potentiate the effects some).

I take 10-14 grams toss and wash practically every morning. Great appetite supression during a cut, energy to go to the gym, feels pretty decent for cheap.

I'm probably dumb for doing it but I like to take 2 grams of a red, 2 grams of a white, 2 grams of a green, 2 grams of a yellow then top it off with 1 gram of anything else I feel like that day. (high opiate tolerance though)

Fave strains so far : White Borneo, Super Green Malay, Red Bali
 
I've used Red for many months and never need more that 6-9G to get a good opiate sedation.

I've rotated white and green for daytime preworkout for many months and never need to go more than 3G.

I need to replenish my K of Red and maybe try some yellow fur a change.
 
I just ordered some Green Indo and Bali, so we'll see how that turns out. I'm assuming the Bali from Mile High is a relaxing strain? I didn't see what color it was, but I have had some energizing White Bali.

I'm gonna try and get some Phenylpiracetam here by Friday but it doesn't seem likely, I was wanting to try the Green Indo and that on a hike.

I'm holding off on Volvo140G LSD recommendation for now.. lol
 
Ordered kratom samples from another vendor (they had strains not available from previous vendor) and the effects have been great. They have a very fine powder texture (finest I've seen) and the taste didn't seem to be bad at all. Below are the effects I've noticed so far from the two samples I've tried.

Green Vein Maeng Da (1 tsp) - large boost in mood after about 30 minutes. Slight increase in energy for about 2 hours...which became a little too strong after that point. Mood boost continued for another couple hours after that while the increase in energy finally leveled off at the 4 hour mark. Still had plenty of energy but didn't get stronger...became more bearable after that. Strain might be a little too strong for me.

Baik Bali (1 tsp with 500 mg agmatine) - after 30 minutes there was some sedation that lasted for about 30-60 minutes. However, after that there was an increase and energy and mood. The mood and energy increase were much more "stable" than the GVMD and seemed to last for at least 5 hours (at which point I went to bed...so may have continued longer). This may be the best kratom I've ever tried. For me, the boost in energy wasn't overbearing and seemed to be the perfect amount to get me moving while not increasing my anxiety. I really liked the effects on mood. It wasn't overly strong like the GVMD...it just felt more natural.

So for reducing tolerance and potentiating the dose, what other supplements would be helpful? I've seen agmatine, vitamin c, ginger, bacopa, circumin so far. Are there any other recommendations? Also, how long before taking your dose should the other supplements be taken for enhancement?

The only strain I've ever had that worked consistently was Green Maeng Da. I've tried ~40 different strains from different vendors.

Supposedly the actives in kratom are more soluble in an acidic environment, that's why 100% whitegrape fruit juice about 10-15 mins before has shown to be effective.

I take about 5-10g 3x daily.

I don't see any white vein maeng da, I just see white vein borneo. Or am I missing it?
 
Bali is a white! Has a nice euphoric feel to it.
