Knee Pain and Joint Supps

Had a short leg workout with some ATG light weight squats and had some knee discomfort. This morning the knee feels pretty good. This was the first sign of knee pain in awhile and happened while doing some fairly exaggerated movements. Now dosing the OsteoSport at 4 caps upon waking. Hope to get some pickup basketball in the next week or so, that should be a nice test.

The bulk powder is the same as what's in the capsule, right?

Also, with meals or empty stomach? Would you happen to know what people are getting better results with?

I have "searched" but can't find much either way.

Thanks borobulker.

i have knee problems, ike they crack all the time and ache badly at times. i went into a gnc and the guy there was actually legit, for a change. he showed me the expensive stuff but then said that glucosamine and chondroiting wold work well with my problem. i took about 2 months worth and my knees feel a lot better.

Did a tough full body workout last night, ending in a 2 mile sprint interval at 10 degree inclines. This will usually stress the hell out of my knee, but very minimal discomfort. Continue to dose the Osteosport at 4 caps daily. Thanks for the input Boro, I have been on a self imposed exile from USP stuff for about 3 years now (long story) but I know that Super Cissus is good stuff. I may run a combo of Animal Flex and Cissus just to compare that and Osteosport. BTW, as of right now I'd give the Osteosport a 8/10. I will reserve future grades until the end of the bottle, and also see if/when pain returns upon discontinuation of product.

Additional info on SuperCissus Rx and PowerFULL;

USPlabs SuperCissus Rx™ has taken home multiple “Joint Product of the Year” awards, and it's no secret that this is NOT just another weak, outdated joint pill.

Quite simply - USPlabs SuperCissus Rx™ will bullet-proof your bones, joints, tendons and ligaments! The patented active ingredient has also proven to be a potent anabolic/anti-catabolic agent without suppressing natural hormonal levels! USPlabs SuperCissus Rx™ is an absolute necessity for athletes and serious health enthusiasts due to their extreme training and preparation.

Poor joint health is one of the top issues facing today's athletes. Joint health should be top priority as you are only as strong as your weakest link. USPlabs SuperCissus Rx™ contains a patented herbal extract shown to promote tendon and ligament health. This herbal ingredient has been used for centuries in the Ayurvedic medicinal system and has been proven safe and effective for use in humans.

Unlike many other joint health based supplements, USPlabs SuperCissus Rx does not contain glucosamine, choindroitin or MSM and is 100% Stimulant and Shellfish Free. May users also claim a therapeutic tonic and analgesic effect more powerful that some OTC products, without the nasty side-effects that NSAID's can bring.

Ok, so we already know the increase in Growth Hormone output from PowerFULL™ will help induce muscle hyperplasia, which is the splitting of the muscle tissue! And when this happens, you are going to get strong, I mean...beastly strong! Now, because of these intense increases in muscular strength and size, you’ll need to increase the strength of your ligaments and tendons to keep pace with your huge increases in size and strength!

Since your ligaments and tendons are made up of a protein called collagen, you need as much collagen as you can get! And PowerFULL™ contains a key herbal ingredient that has been shown to be a very powerful synthesizer of collagen; meaning it causes your body to make a lot more of it! And all the women in your life will notice, all the extra collagen, too … as it makes your skin soft, supple and smooth!

Not to mention PowerFULL™ will exponentially increase your GH secretion to recover bigger, stronger and faster as well as allow for some much needed "Anabolic Dreams"...

Close to finishing up the bottle of Osteosport, not much new to report. This product has greatly diminished my knee pain and allowed me to continue training. It is NOT a complete cure (and is not marketed as such). If I did experience any pain it was usually during explosive movements and putting the knee in situations where it was isolated with alot of weight. Product worked very well for running and cardio work such as rowing. Will discontinue product in 4 days and update to to see if/when pain returns and to what degree.

Thank you for being honest with your experience with the product. Yes, there are no magic pills, but sometimes they can help :)

Oesto looks good. Flex didn't look great.

SuperCissus its fair to say there are responders and non-responders - highly rated product nevertheless (just ordered it). Getting the right dose is another variable.

Triad does does have a joint forumula packed into it - so for routine use it seems good.

Quick update, I've now gone 8 days since my last dose of Osteosport and must say that I have not had any recurrance of the knee pain that started this thread. I'm very interested in the cost effectiveness of products like this in that if they don't have to be used on a continual basis of course they present more of a value over a straight Cissus product which in my experience I had to continue to dose to see benefits. I'll update again in another week.

I have a bottle of SuperCissus on it's way also to give it a shot....i'll be sure to let everyone know the results.

I was having rotator cuff issues as well as problems with my right bicep. I dosed super cissus 3 caps 3 times a day for 21 days and then cut back to 2 cap twice a day for maintenance. Both problems completely resolved. I will use this product as a staple from now on.

Definitely interested in how you find time off OsteoSport. I know that after months of using it and taking a break that my joints manage pretty well. I D notice the difference when I AM using it though, but not using it is not the painful process that it used to be.

I have three recommendations when it comes to dealing with joint pain. First and foremost I don't think there is a better formula than Osteo-Sport and it has been the most effective for me. So much so I keep my mother and my oldest brother on it as well.

My other recommendations are using Animal Flex stacked with Osteobolin-C or using Primaforce Cissus or Super Cissus RX (between the two I didn't notice much of difference...both work, but Primaforce can be had for cheaper usually) stacked with Controlled Labs Orange Triad.

Granted, since I am affiliated with AN my opinions may come off as biased, but when it comes to talking about joint pain I will only recommend what works because I understand aching joint pain quite well...I've dealt with terrible pain in my left knee since I was 16-17 because of sports injuries.

Since everyone does respond to things differently that is why I provided three different options and I have experience with all three options so if anyone wants more feedback on any of my recommendations let me know.

Cheers!

Hey reps... you guys really are hijacking this thread. I understand that you are here to promote your company product, but with all due respect, your opinion is biased. Your opinion is needed when I have a question about your product. I understand that your company's product may work great, but let other members decide if it works or not.

What I see on this post is 3 or 4 different reps trying to jock and promote his or her product as the best buy. I respect your opinion more when you are promoting a product other than your company's product. It is quite confussing when it seems that each of you claim to have the top product and in my opinion only one of these product is a clear winner if you consider everything, including price.

A word of advice to each rep, I respect you opinion more when you are praising a product other than your own. If your product work, than let the product speak for it self.

Hey guys question
I recently started having discomfort/itching in my knees. How do I know if its from inflammation or some other knee problem? I started taking vitamin shoppe Glucosamine/Chondrotin and flax seed oil how soon before this staff kicks in? Is the certain mg of product I should iam a day I weight 182 and take around 3g of glucosamine 2.4g of chondroitin and 5g of flax seed oil. If the discomfort is from the in lamination would advil just fix the problem? Sorry if iam highjacking thread but it’s kind of on the subject of joint support.

You won't know what the issue is unless you have special tests performed on your knee or answer a comprehensive questionnaire that covers all the bases. Anything less and you'd be guessing. Joint support might help, yes, but unless you know what the problem is you won't be able to deal effectively with it, and just taking joint support products in the hope that they will do something is like taking medication for a cold if you feel like you have a cold because you think it is a cold, when it might not be.

Im a rep and I suggested a product by a different company, and mentioned how i'll begin using a product by a company differerent than the first one. Not once was my personal company mentioned.

If you want to avoid "being confused", do some research for yourself and find out what you'd like to use. No one comes into your workplace and tells you how to do your job man....reps do what they do to support their company. it's their job.

does cissus lubricate the joints like glucosamine msm ect. or just prevent pain? what my understanding once cissus is discontinued your back with the same pain as before.

I found solution to my problem. I used to get discomfort in my knees (like there was pressure on them) and now its gone. I used to take glucosamine and flex seed oil but it didn’t fix the problem till I used foam roller on my legs. I massaged part right above the knee and sides of it. It took two sessions to get rid of my discomfort I felt the difference right after the first session. I did squats today so I know the discomfort is gone for good. Maybe picking up a foam roller would be worth a try for some of you?
