KLEEN Swabs the deck w/ LG's NO Infuse

kleen i'm going to have to force u off my buddy list....$10 a month...planet fitness? please say it ain't so....all i have is 20lb dumbells, a shake weight, a stationary bike, and whatever crap my mother has, usually just weighted bars

Planet Fitness no Sir! I don't even know if we have one of those here. This one is Fitness Connection and the business model is sound. Who cancels a $10 a month membership? I lose that much change in my couch a month. Okay maybe not but you get my point.

HOWEVER, I read what you guys say about Planet Fitness and this gym is NOTHING like that. We can use chalk, we can grunt, growl, and yell if we want too. I tend to keep myself to grunting and growling. Although every once in a while after a PR I may yell something off color in celebration. Only thing missing is a Deadlift platform, but they keep extra floor pads for us to put down when we deadlift so we don't mess up the floor.

They have this philosophy there that for $10 a month you get good equipment and absolutely no management. Nothing really changes there, "Oh that big man yelling bothers you? You do realize you are only paying $10 a month right? So I suggest you bring in an MP3 player so you don't hear him..."

beastly man. keep up the hard work unless you wanna see that tutu in your near future.

btw....

YOU GOT A DOOR? YOU GOT A GYM!

Hey thanks for popping in. Almost missed your post. Oh no I am not seeing a tutu in my future. I will have abs by Sept 1, once this visceral fat is finished burning down some more then the subcutaneous fat will start falling off and everything will change. Right now waist is getting smaller and smaller but ab visibility is not changing too much. I carry A LOT of visceral fat though and it has to go first.

yeah i don't grunt or growl to much...i just don't like the whole perspective of things at planet fitness......i like wearing bball jerseys to lift in the summer....and they kicked me out, the ppl who work there also are like these snobby weirdos that judge in a so called judge free zone....judge me! it drives me to push harder, if i wuss out then i wasn't cut out for this stuff anyway....fitness isn't a half assed thing...you can't dog it at some gym and think because u go to the gym u'll be a molded god with less than intense routines

That is some crap Gotti... man I would be pissed if someone commented on my gym attire. Actually, I would welcome it and see what they think about that 90 or 100 DB I am holding falling right at their feet. I got yelled at for dropping at 110 DB after a PR on bench press; I looked at the trainer and said why don't you lift that one up and re-rack it if you don't want me to drop it again. I will leave it at this, I did another set and got an extra rep, thanks for the motivation a**hole! Gyms are a necessary evil to support our habits, the people working there just come with the territory I guess. If you can't go there any more look for a privately owned gym that is local, even if they are not as good who cares, support the local business owners and I am sure you will be left alone.

Yeah that would piss me off too. I like not being messed with at the gym. I also like the equipment they have compared to my home. Of course i can not imagine why anyone would have a problem with you wearing a jersey. Some places don't allow tank tops. (STUPID) but I have never heard of anyone not allowing a jersey in the gym.

By the way my grunting and growling is not so much a decision, more an animalistic response to the effort and intensity. It doesn't happen to often and only during a truly maximal effort. Then again the last rep of every work set to failure is a maximal effort so the chances of it occurring at least once in a workout is decent. Right now the lower weights will keep me to only huffing and puffing but that is okay too.

I did not touch weights last week by the way. I was re-shingling my roof so I didn't have anything to update. Not sure how today will go. Son is gone and can't go to the gym in the mornings while he is there so will be on the Tower 2000 for a while or cleaning up the garage for the workout.

the reason they gave me was that a basketball jersey is a tank top...they pretty much said nothing sleeveless, for what reasons i have no idea...but i love lifitng in jerseys, they are breathable and don't restrict arm movements at all, not that t-shirts really do at all either

I get a head smack and a DOH! You did specify BBall. The jersey had me thinking football for some reason.

Still though it is a stupid rule. Reasoning supposedly is the skin contacting the equipment. More sweat on equipment, but if I am sweating I PROMISE YOU it is coming through any shirt I have on.

For those Douche Bag's who don't wipe down the equipment after using it and sweating on it... Fug You! Thanks for ruining things for us you gross inconsiderate bastards. If anyone reading this is one of those people don't get offended get considerate. I get tired of having two towels one for wiping sweat off of me and one for wiping off the equipment because you didn't have the courtesy to clean up your own bodily fluids you INCONSIDERATE JERK! Like I said if you are one of these people redeem yourself! The time is now, make a change for the better and be kinder to your fellow man bring a hand towel and wipe down the equipment you sweat on. Seat included.

my greatest costume was khaki ****ies, a red gunit shirt, chuck taylors, red bandanna's, a black LA dodgers fitted and a huge cadillac belt buckle....i was the game when he was on g unit, before ppl knew who the game was, but i had his cd and ppl were repeating the songs all night

Gotta get back into your guys' logs. I've been so consumed in my own $hit..Sorry Kleen, I'm here for ya though!

Looking studly in your avi man. You have been kicking some azz. I am getting in my lift tonight. I can't wait to tear it up. It has been a week because of all the roofing.

How was that job? Never do it again type deal? Was it worth the savings?

Gotta do my roof soon, whether I or a pro I've yet to decide.

Even though we had a lot more to do it was worth it. I saved about $4000, but that would have had to have been financed so you can double that by the time paid off. If you count in 230 I paid my son and about 700 on supplies plus my vacations monetary value. If you can do it when it is a little bit cooler that would be better. 80-85 would probably be ideal temp with what i was doing using tar down rolled shingle on a flat roof. When I look at the savings yeah... It was worth it big time. I couldn't have afforded another payment right now and am trying to gradually get rid of my payments. I have what I need for now. No buying anything on credit unless I HAVE too. It was a lot of hard work but it being done is very rewarding. If you like a challenge go for it. Just have some help. If I had another adult or two helping me I would have finished up a day earlier at least. Just an adult understands how to work efficiently and my son was distracted.

Chris you made the right decision to do it yourself, now your son knows a valuable skill he can use later in life. Plus, you save a ton of money and probably did a better job then some fly by night roofing company only trying to maximize its margins. Welcome back to the iron my friend, enjoy your workout later tonight!

I am definitely going to enjoy the workout tonight. My shoulder is a little tweaky but I just got turned on to something interesting I am going to check out callede Aflutop it is not FDA approved but is used in other countries and looks very promising. You may want to look into it for your hip bursitis it says it is effective for treating that as well. Look at Edwitt's LG log for Ghen and HGH-1 the last couple pages have some studies.

Hmmm... I will see how it works before I delve into an injectable joint treatment. If I can get the gel I read about I would be much more open to trying it.

Do tell???

Had a great workout for upper body. Doing some legs tomorrow.
2 ASGT because I was tired
Workout was in garage I was feeling intense but the heat started to suck it out of me but ASGT started kicking in more and I got a little bit of a second wind.

Flat Bench 135x20, 185x15, 205x13, This ain't too bad considering the workouts I have been doing lately.
UHG Dorian Rows 135x15, 185x13, 155x15, this made my elbow ache a little at 185. My strength is really dropping in rows because of this damn tendon!
Standing Military Press 95x15 x3 sets I didn't want to push it with my shoulder...

I decided to record my attempt with 125. Doing 9 ain't bad, I was happy with it as you could see. As a matter of fact I believe it is a PR! It is going up though, competition is ongoing for a little bit I want 130x10 in the next few weeks even though I am on a cut right now. I know I was nice and warm as you can tell. I had already worked the rest of my upper body with 3 sets of 15, heavy weight for that range. Oh and no curls but reverse grip dorians so no need. Then rested about 3-4 minutes before attempting this so I should have been pretty fresh. I think my form was spot on too.

As you can probably see I was pretty pumped up considering I am flat from no carbs since Sunday night I am looking full. I was huge when I got in here and took off my shirt then it is just now going down from the post workout sprays. I am really liking this so far.

LOL I can't do sound at work. So at the end there, if I had to guess what you said, it was something like I got 9, that means im 1 bad ass beast, and will **** 5 bitches tonight. What, son?

Alright, its a tad early for me to be posting...

LMAO!!!! I said That's 9 at 1-2-5!!! Yelling over the music.

Moderate leg workout last night.

Yesterday was one of those days. I got home got wrapped up in feeding the family then realized I didn't have too much time for the workout so I did a nice quick workout.

Oly Style Squats - 225x15, 275x12 x2 3rd set was hard to complete
Trap Bar Deads shrug at top 275x12 x3 same with this one the 3rd set was a little rough I used wraps to save my grip.
Ab machinee - 2 sets to failure

Went in the house to clean up so I could go sing my daughter to bed. She gets her back rubbed on and a Daddy original every night before bed. I am only a so-so singer but she likes it. Tells me stuff she wants added into the song before I sing to her. Not missing that to extend a workout. No Way! That's my Princess! ;)

Quads were extremely pumped after this workout. I hit about 10-15 sprays per quad and went for it. Had a nice hang over the knee at the end of the workout.
