KLEEN - STRONG BODY STRONG MIND!

I am wide awake from my pre workout since I hadn't used in a little bit. So might as well update in here.

I hit up an upper body push pull tonight.

Super Set Pull Ups and Dips

Pull Ups - 5, 10, 14 (video), +45x3, 90x1, 90x1, 90x1, 90x1, 90x1
Dips - 10, +45x10, +45x8, 90x10, 90x10, 90x10, 90x10 (Video), 90x7

Super Set 2 Recline Ring Rows and Push Ups done 3 sets to failure.

Before anyone mentions it, my chin up bar is just a little bit too short. So I have to bend my legs to clear the floor. I am not jumping up but dropping my legs out from under me then exploding up. Also not kipping just trying to keep the legs clear however I will use them for set extenders at times.

Dips kill my shoulders, do they ever bother you?

Not really. Every once in a blue moon but more of a I stressed it some other way and then can feel it when I dip. I don't do it for long periods though. I progress rapidly with them and then the elbows need a break.

It seems we listen to the same workout station, haha. Although, I've got some 80's in my mix too.

My guess is we listen to 80-90% of the same music, but we would probably disagree on about 10% and spent 80% of our time going at each other about it. But in the end, I would be right. :)

To the first part, you might be surprised by some of what I listen too. On the second, you are probably right there too. Your final statement, eh I will let you have it. I mean you have to be right every once in a while or you won't play with me any more!!!!

Oh there is some of that in there too. Not much though, I enjoy it but not really for working out too.

I still love me some disco! Loved Donna Summer, On the Radio, that whole LP was legit. She was ahead of her time in my opinion. My parents would dance in the living room and we would go in and dance with them. I actually got pretty good and one a disco competition once too. :)

a puerto rican guy on my ship was really into disco...check out santa Esmerelda -please don't let me be misunderstood...of course he would go out clubbing in his Travolta outfit, bee gees were king with Saturday night fever. dude did real well with the ladies, lol!!!

just thought of his name-acevedo...got into it with him once and challenged him to a smokers, we were good friends after that-wish kids today had smokers instead of settleing disputes with guns-but that is a whole other story!!!

smokers were the best thing ever!!!

Dropping this here since you have some steel plates in the garage & I think you may like to win a tub of this - lmk if you want me to delete it though!

I was thinking it was when you put your arms against each other and throw a cigarette between and see who pulls away first. But i was wondering what he meant too

I actually remember that song and yes Bee gees were king.

thebigt What is a Smoker ??
I was wondering the same thing.

Check out the definition in your back!! Looking awesome!

Thanks Kat!!!! I was surprised too.

I took yesterday off, no cardio or anything. I didn't sleep but maybe 2 hours the night before and by the time I got home I was just done. Didn't even take the dog for our usual walk / training session I was so tired. Woke up this morning looking pretty lean again. Yesterday was a keto day so I think most of the excess water was used or excreted. Either way the veins in my lower abs came back in, and the definition between my abs looks to be back where it was so I think I will be showing progress this weekend regardless of the trip.

thebigt What is a Smoker ??

every Friday night they would set up a boxing ring in the hanger bay...if you got into a beef with someone instead of duking it out then and there you challenged the guy to a smokers on friday night....they had gloves and even a ref....it was great entertainment, some guys had real beefs and were swinging haymakers for 1st 2 rounds, but come 3rd round were pretty wore out-most people don't understand what great shape boxers are in....everyone looked forward to smokers, no one ever got hurt real bad and most guys became friends after!!!!

it was a great way to settle disputes...don't know if they still have smokers, back then it was just men onboard ships---can't see guys or gal challenging each other to smokers, but what do I know, things have really changed--and not for the better, imo!!!

Okay, I was aware of this being done, but not what it was called. I really wish we could settle things in this manner. How one treats the loser or handles the loss often earns some respect too. Mutual combat often ends in a handshake or a bro hug!

I had a 5th grade teacher Mr. Thomas, he did the same thing. And like you said we usually became friends after the match !

if you watch contact sports like boxing/mma there is [usually] mutual respect after the bout, it's pretty common....you always have some guys who are just plain as$holes.

Man, me and my buddies used to do a similar thing in our teens. Bare knuckles but we played body shots only.

Some of my closest friends now and I had some wonderful brawls. Honestly, nothing settles a beef like a good old fashioned brawl. Once it’s over, it’s over. To this day I wish they would reduce the penalty for being in a fight (assault) because I think there’d be a lot less gun or truly “dangerous” disputes. I love guns and own plenty but wouldn’t even consider using one until I was sure I was in mortal danger.

I know there is at least one state that still allows mutually agreed upon combat... I forgot which one but was watching a youtube video where they mentioned the police sitting by watching and enjoying the fight because both people agreed to fight and that made it legal in that state. Would be pretty cool if that were the case.

similar experiences...the grade school I went to had this big field about a block away-when there was going to be a fight everyone would pass notes around...after school we would make a big circle and they would go at it....I had a fight with a guy in grade school who became one of my best friends in high school!!!

there is no honor in catching someone off guard [or ambushing them]and shooting them, that is very cowardly, imo.

I own guns also...but so far I have pulled but never shot!!!

Man, my one of my best friends was someone I shot a fair one with, dude was a junior and I was a freshman. We were best friends until he went down a path I refused and now is in prison. But, it was funny cuz he was a south paw and I’m a righty and anytime we got into it at a party, people were catching a haymaker left and a haymaker right

Man, wish he would’ve turned out to be a better person now that I think about it.

I was raised in the mountains of West Virginia and met my best friend there at 4 when we moved in. He and I fought so many times they wouldn't let be in the same class. We would be calling each other to play or hang out the same day. It was just kind of how things were settled. We stopped when I hit 12 and he kicked me in the face so I picked him up over my head and body slammed him into a hole where they were going to run new sewers. He couldn't get out by himself and I had to help him but I hurt him when I threw him in and we never fought again. Heaven help the person that messed with one of us though. We were extremely protective of each other!

This is funny, because the way you and I "go at it" on here reminds me of the best friend I ever had - who I also met when I was 4 years old.

When we were little we used to get in fist fights all the time. Especially if he spent the weekend at my house. By Sunday we would have a brawl.

One time I remember having a bad fight with him and I got him with an elbow. We didn't talk until his dad picked him up. A couple hours after he left he calls me up, LAUGHING and says, "You chipped my tooth!"

It always stuck out because he would be like that and laugh so soon after and let things go.

He passed away a couple years back and his brother told me it really shocked him how many people came to him after and said, "You know, I hated him so much. We just hated each other. And then one day we let each other have it, and after that we became the best of friends."

It's a skill to learn to get past problems...I know people look down on fighting, but it isn't all bad.

We do seem to have a lot in common.

I definitely don't think mutually agreed upon combat should be frowned upon. Instead it should just be somewhat governed by the individuals. We used to put on gloves too back in the day. Heck our parents wanted us too. Not to see us hurt each other but so we wouldn't beat each other with bare fists...

However after a bit my speed and size that stuff stopped with me. I also had to stop wrestling my friends because I would always win and in the middle they would get frustrated and start swinging. Then I would either have to hold them down, or throw them a whoopin if I couldn't calm then down. However we all got over that stuff within a day or two and NO ONE EVER JUMPED IN!!!!

You got yourself into a fight you couldn't win you lost. Now if someone was whooping your ass excessively they would get pulled off but not attacked like nowadays. That or worse, as thebigt said shot...

Last night I did a feeler leg workout again. Trying to feel this foot and knee situation out. Kept things relatively light and shorter rest periods. .

SSB Squats (Speed)- Bar x 15, 155x8, 205x5, 245x5, 295x3, 295x3, 245x16 - knee felt a little off on the last one so I lowered weight to 245 and repped until my knee felt like the weight was bothering it a little. That set was about an RPE8 to 8.5. I might have been able to get to twenty if my right leg was up to snuff.

Sissy Leg Press w/ Calve extension at top of rep - 4 sets with 340x15-30 reps an RPE8 veins were all over the place on these.

Super Set 3 rounds @ RPE8
SSB Good Mornings - 155x13, 155x12, 155x10
- I could definitely tell my right leg was not firing as it should here. I really had to focus on activating it to get the glutes involved.
Leg Extensions - 150 x20-30 reps per set - nice burn here.

That was it, called it an evening. My foot is hurting today, and the knees isn't too bad off but no way I would be confident pushing my legs right now...

We used to “self govern” our deck hockey league like this a bit (even just until a few years ago and with full blown adults ha)... sometimes a game or series would just get too personal and two guys needed to get it over with. The guy who ran the place would grab the two, take them to the lower parking lot, get them to confirm they wanted to settle it and that when it was over, it was over, and we’d circle up and let them go until someone was done.

Lots of black eyes and bloody noses, but I can tell you for sure it saved a few dumb kids from getting into more trouble by trying to take this crap home with them.

And the next game or series always had a different level of respect. I’ve always loved the handshake line at the end of a hockey game or series. It shows respect and honor in a way that you don’t see often in today’s “everybody wins” culture. There’s plenty to be respected for in a loss and knowing there’s room to improve should become your motivation.

Thanks going out to Rocket3015 and Diesel for the cool shirt and Diesel Test! I will be putting it to good use during my TRT dosing. Invalid Link Removed

I told Chuck Diesel we could get a sexy Spokes Model !!

No problem man, thanks for the shout out !!

Holy Big Boys! I am massive right now, well massive for me lately anyway. I was sitting at 209 this morning, and yes my waist is thicker but abs are still nice and visible. Arms and shoulders are stretching my sleeves. My pant legs are so tight and I already wore them once so they should be a bit stretched out too so that is surprising. Looking huge...

With just 2 days in on the SD I have retained a good bit of glycogen not sure that it is directly from that or the salty foods. I am sure it is a combination of both but wow what a difference in overall size.

I am going to try to do some deadlifts tonight, see how my knee and glutes holds up to it.

Wait when did you say you were hopping on Sdrol?? I totally missed that. How much per day?
Hyde, I posted it up in the Challenge thread calling it my Frankenstein Cycle. . Right now just 10mg SD a day, and having 15mg of DMZ with it on lifting days, which not considering bioavailability should break down into 7.5mg of SD as well and 7.5mg of the SD molecule that still has the azine atom attached which is weaker. The on the non lifting days it is 10mg SD and 15mg Epistane.

I may bump SD to 20 a day the final week if things are going really well side wise. Also if I run out of DMZ first I will definitely bump SD to 20 but I think I have 8 DMZ left and that should cover workout days from now until July-2nd-3rd.

Yep as soon as I saw that I read it in there of course lol

Of course!

I am thinking it should go well so long as the Var truly was completely non-toxic like Spurfy attested too.

Honestly your setup is so mild unless something like acid reflux got you bad you’re almost guaranteed to be fine.

Honestly your setup is so mild unless something like acid reflux got you bad you’re almost guaranteed to be fine.

That was my plan... although the me who like gains really wants to dump the epistane and just do 2 SD every day, and run the DMZ on workout days. I just feel like that might be a bit more likely to cause some sides. However would definitely also cause more gains.

Do you think that would still be relatively mild? It is only 2 weeks after all and to make a bigger difference I will probably want faster acting compounds...

I guess I can always start there and see what happens and drop the dose if I notice unmanageable sides creeping in.

Resubbed brother! Not sure what happened but I'm back. Lol

Awesome job in here btw. Just went through some of the updates. As always you are killing it.

You can tolerate anything for 2 weeks likely, so I would say blast it if you want. Finish strong

IIRC wasn't it you MrKleen73 that had some wicked issues with SD in the past due to the toxicity and reflux that made you nearly unable to eat at all (or maybe keep food down)?

Kind of what I am thinking.

The time I ran it before it got a little rough in 2 weeks. It was before I got reflux, and before using TUDCA which is kind of a game changer as far as keeping the bile ducts from clogging. However by the end of the 2 weeks my urine had darkened more than I was okay with, and my appetite was dropping off to where it was hard to eat all my food.
Probably all part of his diet strategy
I am quite devious in my planning! MUHAHAHAHAHAA MUHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
My mom always says: "diarrhea keeps me lean"
Oh man diarrhea is miserable!
Tuff was to get lean !!

Yeah that is not the way you want to go. Now it is a welcome side effect to that horrible trauma though. ;)

Hit up some dead lifts, leg extensions and shoulder press last night.

Dead Lifts - 135x10, 225x8, 315x8, 365x8, 365x8, 365x8 - I was tired and not really willing to go over an RPE8 with how my right leg has been reacting to training.

Super Set - No rest between exercises or rotations. Trying to get some metabolic stress in there!!!!
Machine Seated Military Press - 115x27, 115x21, 115x17
Leg Extensions 115x30, 115x24, 15x20
Just got a really nice burn and pump on both of there. I pushed until RPE9 on these. I need to clean the bars on the weight stack as I can feel some drag making things heavier than expected as well.

Intra Drink called POST = 2 scoops 60g carbs and 40 grams isolate that I finished at the end of my workout with 4 caps Blue Sugar, and then took a shower to cool myself down so I could eat.

Post Workout - 2 cups Skim Milk, 60 grams whey isolate. 2 servings cream of rice with 1 tablespoon butter. 1 pack of Pop Tarts, and 2 cheese sticks.

Peri workout Macros = Protein 135g, Fats 26g, Carbs 240

Throughout the day intake - 8 oz prime rib 39g fats, 59g protein, 4 oz New York Strip Steak 33 protein, 10 fats - 3 tbls heavy whipping cream and 1 cheese stick

98g Protein, Fats 70 fats

Estimated daily totals
Protein 233 Fats 96, Carbs 240 - 2756 cals

Today will be a keto / rest day. Weather is going to suck so no riding bike or anything for me today. I may go for a walk in the tunnels during lunch...

so jealous of your post workout intake, lol.

I can only get away with that after training the rest of the day is spent in keto normally so that is actually my entire carb intake and then off days are all keto days. If you adjusted like that you could do it too I am sure. Lots of PL guys use a Carb Back Loading approach which is even higher in carbs. Plus the GDA I am using has a nice dose of berberine which works out really well for me.

Had a good off from working out day yesterday. I was needing it. Sleep has not been awesome recently and I have been feeling it catch up with me. I really need a day I can actually sleep in to catch up on some rest, but that hasn't happened in almost a month... I actually laid down and turned the light off by 10:00PM last night and that was pretty darn good.

As far as appearance goes, last night I looked and abs and what not were looking pretty good and I am really holding on to the fullness from this weekend. I also weighed myself and was 208.9 before dinner. So probably around 205 this morning. I feel big in my own space though. Clothes are filled out in all the right places.

I've been feeling the fatigue you speak of as well brother. Rarely get to sleep before 11pm and always up by 5am. It definitely has an impact especially after so long.
