I am waiting on LG to release the write up on the Joint Repair I tested for them. I would really like to run that long term to see if it could heal these elbow issue. I think the are inflammation based pains. My tendinitis in my wrist and my shoulder pain disappeared on that stuff. I think the Cissus, given more time to work than 3 weeks, would have kicked in and gotten rid of all my pain. Still no write up or release date....DAMN!
I'm running something right now that may help you until thats released...feel free to PM me.

Quick Update

Took today off for some well needed rest. My right wrist is now starting to flare up as well. Ice and Motrin for a few days should help. I think I need to pick up some Joint support from somewhere. Maybe some Osteosport. I HATE joint issues. They piss me off badly.

Hit back and legs yesterday. Went pretty light on both. Felt a twinge in my lower back last back day so ran through some light sets and then hits some light legs. Overall a good day. Back to the grind tomorrow with a Big chest day again.

Two great days......

Yesterday I hit chest again. Hit hard and heavy. Some weights were up too! In case anyone is wondering I try to hit my chest as often as possible without over training. Its taken years to figure my chest out as it has always been my lagging part. Heavy weights and twice a week workouts is what makes it grow.

Heres from yesterday.

BB Bench

135 x 15
225 x 10
315 x 8 ( No spot. Could have gotten 9 maybe 10)
295 x 8
225 x 12

Incline DB Bench

100 x 12
100 x 10 x 3

Cable Xovers

35 x 10 x 4

Dips

BW x 20 x 2

Today I slammed arms again. Were not sore anymore and the gym was PACKED so I decided to switch it up for ease of access.

Superset Cable Concentration curls and One arm reverse push downs:

35 x 10 x 4

Dips

BW + 45 x 10 x 3

Superset Nose breakers and standing EZ bar curls

90 x 10 x 4

Seated curl machine

75 x 20 x 2

A little out of the ordinary for me but both workouts felt great and my vascularity was AMAZING. I am taking a picture next workout. Freaky ****! Dudes were looking at me like WTF is he on? Till, tomorrow.....later.

Here comes the pain.......not good

SO I went to lift shoulders yesterday and ran into problems immediately. OH BB press.....4 reps in major right shoulder pain. SO I went a little lighter and push out 3 sets. Lateral raises.....pain, front raises....pain....... Now dont get me wrong, I finished the workout. I think I may not be resting enough so I will be taking 2-3 days off and getting back in it after that. Not that I want time off but I can tell when I am flirting with injury. Either Sunday or Monday Ill be back at it. Going to take it easy on the weights but Il be doing my cardio today and tomorrow. BTW we lost our last Flag Football game so we are out indefinitely......oh well.....it was fun.

Workouts look pretty good.

What is the layout of your workout? Curious on the overall split.

I'd like to help develop a chest routine for you, and some of the other fellas can vouche for my knowledge when it comes to workout routines. I frequent other forums, and recently joined here as well.

I would try to do some light cuff exercises to better strengthen that shoulder:
inner/outer rotations
scarecrows
scaption

light weights, slow reps, 15 reps each.

I'd be glad to take you up on your offer. My chest has been a problem my whole life. Any help would awesome. My split right now is: Chest, Back/legs, Shoulders, Arms, Chest. I do abs and cardio 2 -3 times per week. If you look back a little in my workouts you'll see a regular chest workout for me. Today was sort of off due to the Mon. crowd at the gym. Ill be interested to see what you've got for me. I do rotator work on shoulder day. Light work for 10-12 reps but not very slow. My shoulder has been pretty good to me. Had a bad workout last week.

How many days a week do you workout, and if I changed up your split a little, would you mind?

Also, is it a specific portion of your chest or just a flat chest in general?

Also, as a key reminder, in ALL chest exercises, shoulders are pulled back, and don't let them round forward during the exercises.

My split (thought):
Chest/Back
Legs
Shoulders/Arms
OFF

I have a tall chest. Overall mass seems to be the problem. If you look at my pictures you can see my problems. I have SOME lenience on split and workout schedule. I am a bit limited on time since I workout before work. I have about 1.5 hours to get in and get done. I am assuming I'd be doing 3 on 1 off 3 on for a rotation.

correct, and working with that amount of time is DEFINITELY easy. are you doing cardio in that time as well, if so, how long? the workout I would offer is lower volume, higher intensity. I also do not like pyramiding weights (other than in warming up), so your sets would be solely focused on working weights, not warm up sets.

Do you also have access to most gym equipment, it appears so, but some have sweet layouts in their garage/basement. Do you have access to a chest press machine and a smith machine, as those may be in the workout?

I usually do cardio at home on my off days mostly. I Have a full gym to my access. Yes to smith machine and chest press. Pretty much anything youd find in a decent gym.

dude no offense, but ure overtraining chest.....

and dips two days in a row? are u crazy? soreness means nothing..absolutly nothing. Its all about volume on the chest shoulder and tris all in one day one time only a week. Otehrwise there is so much stress doing these bodybuilding splits of shoulders, chest and arms. Most bodybuilding splits like that are designed for guys juicing hard.

If u have serious pain in ure shoulder or any body part for that reason...something is injured and torn. Take a couple weeks off. Trust me. U aint never gonna win a fight agaisnt ure body.

that split by bnatural is crazy btw.....youd be doing all those lifts in a five day span and then again? Thats absurd.

Youll break down and platue in two and a half weeks.....

Mon- Legs, abs
Tues- Chest/tris/shoulders
Wed- Run, abs, neck
Thursday- Bis
Friday- Circuit Day (throw up day)
Saturday- Off from lifting.....run, abs neck
Sunday- High back

This way equals no overtraining.....high volume on the chest and 2 weeks periodization of reps on secondary and primary excercises......

In all honesty I have tried everything for chest. Once a week, low reps high weight, high reps low weight, few sets high volume, many sets low volume....everything under the sun. Ive been training for nearly 13 years and so far I have made more progress hitting it twice per week than anything else. As far as dips go I have always done them twice per week with abs. Just so happens that my workouts feel together. I am ALWAYS open to criticism. I am also always willing to try something new.

yeah i dunno how u do that man. Ure body needs at least 106 hours to recover....at least. I mean if i benched twice in a week id tear my pecs in half..

On chest days which i do once a week i do just ussually one press and eight sets of it. I dont think you train to failure or have tried it.

I train every bench to failure so for you youd do say three warm up sets then 330-8, 320-7, 310-6, 305-5 then two burn out sets of 12-15 so say 225-12, 215-12

I do not have a training partner so I go as CLOSE to failure as possible. I will give your way next chest day. I like how that looks.

yeah taste ya get used to fast....aint really bad at all.

When i say failure i dont mean using a spotter. I will never use a spotter unless i go over 285 or so. And then the spotter should never ever touch the bar....just be there in case you fail. Forcing reps with a spotter will just tucker u out and ruin the rest of ure lift. If your max is 315-8 do 315 for seven then a little bit below ure max for the next fatigued set. This is how its described in the texans training manual. Good enough for them...good enough for us.....

Alrighty, I am going to try to get you a routine today, but it took me 5 minutes, literally to get this page loaded, my computer is running EXTREMELY slow.

For the post above, it's easy to assume my training regimen is going to overtrain, but you haven't even seen my layout, and what I intend to propose. There are things I can critique in your routine as well, and I offered help to KJ, and he has accepted. I've trained hundreds of clients as a trainer and have designed plenty of routines for myself and each individual client.

I do not add in ab training, as that is personal preference to the individual, but everything else is included that I would deem necessary for myself and clients.

I will send the workout via pm KJ, and it will be your choice to post it all up or however you please. MY split will not overtrain you though.

Over the years I have tried most of N.O. products on the market. There are some very good products as far as the "pump" is concerned. However, virtually everyone one that I have tried loses efficacy after the first few doses. Moreover, they tend to be erratic as far as results are concerned. In other words one day strength may be up the next day down and same goes for the “pump”. I have read several threads where this was a problem with the original version of RagNOrok. I know supplement companies are aware of this and they are working to enhance consistency and performance. It will be interesting to see how RagNOrok Ultra performs. I have a tub on the way.

A lot of efficacy of the dose depends on tolerance, if you dose 7 days per week, you will slowly need to increase the dose because your body adapts to that as "regular". So it's a response saying this is the new norm, so you need to increase the dose. This is why a 5on/2off or 3on/1off or only workout days approach works.

The next effect would be how well you eat in a given day, especially before your workouts. A lot of people have moved towards lower carb diets, which is fine, but if you lack glycogen in your system, you will continue to feel depleted, especially if your muscles remain depleted. I would try to make sure slower burning carbs are eaten around 2-2.5hrs preworkout.

Ultra is a stellar product though, and I've been following a 3on/1off protocol with the same effects each time, it's been two weeks.

Sorry for the delay....

SO I Busted out chest and then back on Mon. and Tues. respectively. Weights were still good and pump was pretty outrageous. I am seeing the stim to not be quite as effective for me anymore. Maybe its the change in the time that I get up but I am def. not as rearing to go as I usually am. I think I will start using a "heaping" scoop if MST thinks that's good to go. If not then no biggie. When I run my next container on my own I may throw in 100mgs caffeine. Not going to go into weights right now. I have taken off yesterday and today to get ready to do this new routine BNat has sent me. I'll get into the details eventually. I know some of you think my current routine is over training and that BNats suggestions are the same. I am very in tune with my body and have overtrained miserably in the past and ended up with no appetite, depression and weight loss. I am very aware when I over-train. On that note I will be trying the routine given to me. If it doesn't work for me then I'll return to what I am doing. Honestly I think advice from a certified personal trainer could be gold. We'll give it a go tomorrow.

I usually roll with about 1.25 scoops, and that works well as a stim for me, and sometimes in ends up where I didn't eat enough and end up sluggish, so be sure your meals leading up to your workout are packing energy.

Hope you enjoy the routine!

I like mixing my Rag with 8 oz can of 7up. It insures adaquate carbs for a good pump, adds to the taste and increases caffine content for a better stim effect.

Sometimes I hit those times were my desire drops and I need ot step back for a few. Plan on hitting it hard tomorrow with a full report.
