Today is a rest day! Got to sleep until 6 am and actually slept good last night! It was so nice! Went out at lunch for about 30 mins of intervals. It's in the low 40's here -cool for us but felt great when I was running!! Even found a place to rest towards the end of my run! Hahaha

Happy Thursday! I wore some old shoes on my run yesterday because they were in my car and I forgot my good shoes ...man, my shins and calves are paying the price today!! Gonna have to throw those suckers away!

Haha I didn't even see that...The sad thing, is his trainer is standing right beside him watching!

As far as the veins, those are nasty varicose veins unfortunately!
 
Another impressive addition to the fitness community lol

The trainer works out like an animal! He places steps with several risers on top of benches and jumps over them. Does handstand push-ups on 2 benches and falls into push-up position, does push-ups and back into handstand push-ups...it's craziness! Just wish he would train his clients with as much passion! Most of the gym trainers seem to be like that!

Our trainers half-azz their clients too. Same routine for every client; nothing seems to be goal-specific.

Too many jaded, asleep people just going through the motions these days .... complete lack of passion and lust for life. It is sad Kat. When you are one of the ones who are awake it makes it even harder to watch such a lack of passion in someone who is supposed to help inspire that very passion in others, Truly sad.

You're so right! We all have those moments where we get down or frustrated and let it filter into the rest of our lives, however, others around us deserve for us to give our best regardless.
 
Happy Friday!! Still working around my right arm a bit. I was able to do most everything without pain but still didn't push too much. I changed any movements the hurt. It still totally wore me out!! Maybe I should've taken my ECA before hand! Lol The stimul8 was definitely my saving grace--I had a little to sip on towards the end of the workout!

Found a soccer field at one of the local rec centers took the kids out and played a little soccer! It was a blast! We took turns kicking the ball across the field and such! Best way ever to get cardio in on the weekend! Then we went to dinner and bowling with some friends tonight! I even got my highest score ever 131! Haha I'm definitely no pro so I was excited!

I played soccer all the way through junior high and high school. Our high school team was undefeated 3yrs in a row. I love to kick the ball around with my boys when I get the chance.

Really? That's cool! I never played any sports so I really had no clue what I was doing. I sure had a blast pretending.

Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! My workout was really going well this morning but I must've had the "talk to me" sign on my forehead! Lol I had 3 people stop and talk to me.(despite the earbuds blaring, sweat rolling, and plenty of grunting haha) #1 didn't realize I was there just because I wanted the cables- he didn't take too long, #2 just wanted to tell me I had gotten a lot stronger lately and he would spot me if I wanted to go for full plates on bench. #3 stopped me twice - never met him before- he asked me if I competed and told me I should compete in the amateur BB comp at the local army base in June. It really made me feel good and encouraged me that they notice my strength and progress.....but....I'm training!!!!!! Lol

Rest day today! I don't even know how I will lift tomorrow! I am incredibly sore!! I haven't been this sore in a very long time! I went for a run/walk yesterday hoping it would help relieve some of the soreness in my legs. I will be going back to the gym to get in some conditioning/cardio in at lunch today. Maybe some bw exercises will help work it out! I have a deep tissue massage scheduled for Friday- might be pretty intense if my muscles are tender! Lol

I "rested" with 45 mins on the stair climber (15 of HIIT) 3 sets of wide pull ups, and some ab work....
I'd say that stimul8 makes a girl sweat!! Hahaha
