I've got smaller extremely flexible wrists and motorcycle gripped the bar. I Should've let the weight rest on my palms more. I'm sharing this with you guys because I seriously could have been hurt today. Luckily it was only a couple inches off my chest and dropped on the push up so all the air was out of my diaphragm.
Lesson learned was: Be mindful of your grip and bar placement each time.
