Squat and deadlift are the focus and should hit ~1300 with just those two. That being said, 501 is happening next Fall.Putting yourself in a great position mentally to be happy with the meet. Good stuff.

That sounds like a prudent plan. The warmup week is still heavy as F anyways.
Coaching makes you a much better athlete IMO. I've learned more about the sport of swimming as a coach than I ever did as a swimmer. It's a whole new perspective. I'm sure the same can be said for lifting

Deload week has begun for me Oh the misery
I'm at the point where I don't even want to deload; I just plain don't want to lift until the meet. I've been pretty lethargic this week and I usually take mock warmups on bench and squat this week, but that's not happening this time.
I feel you Just make sure you eat and stay healthy and stretch and you will be fine. I'm done lifting now may go to the gym here and there to just not be stuck at home and talk to the teammates and stretch a bit

I did that after my second cut (my first was just fasted cardio) and I felt like **** the whole day.I cut weight once in my life (tried out MMA for a short stint) and afterwards I tried to stuff my face with whatever I could get my hands on. BIG MISTAKE. Got so sick
