Its bad Kate. I was depleted anyway because today was my 2nd low carb day, an tonight, I can't hardly walk!

Tough being sick and on low carbs. I always up my carbs when I get sick but you have to be more careful. Maybe some extra fruit would be a good idea though.
 
Thanks everyone. Right now I have broke my fever and am just pretty week. Although I have only been up a half an hour we will see how I feel today. I ran out of gatorade so I am sipping on some aminos and eating a piece of wheat toast with honey butter. I felt like I needed to eat something but wanted to keep it very light this morning.
My middle son got it too! He was up all night throwing up. This is some wicked stuff I am telling you!!

Thanks everyone. No fever, but not much energy either. Drank some aminos then had egg whites and coffee. Gunna take it easy again today. Possibly do some liis cardio and hit the tanning beds. Maybe the low intensity cardio will keep the fat burning going. I'm down almost 6lbs!! Granted most is probably water. I do look a lot leaner though. :D

Good news on the fever. Hopefully it's over. Strength will be back tomorrow hopefully. Being sick will drain all energy from you for sure. Good luck man!!
 
Getting bored with my routine and now with carb cycling I really need a routine I enjoy and will stick with so i am switching up and doing a variation of Rambod's FST-7. All I really changed was the muscle groups and the days they get hit.

•Day 1 – Calves and Quads
•Day 2 – Chest, abs
•Day 3 – Back
•Day 4 – OFF
•Day 5 – Calves and Hams
•Day 6 – Shoulders, bis, and tris
•Day 7 – OFF


If time allows i will do bis with back so my Saturdays won't be so long of a routine. Also with my carb cycling I am going no carbs on weekends and will be carbing back up with a high carb day on Monday (which is not really high carbs haha)

How many carbs you get on high days I'm doing 3 days loooow carbs and 4 days 75-125 carbs
 
200 on high , 100ish on low, <30 on no carb days. I've got it set up with my routine. H, M, L, L, H, N, N.
 
Monday will be somewhat of a refeed, but all good carbs. Starting 45-60mins cardio split into two sessions a day.

Liking the new set up. Before Meadows, I used FST-7 alot. And 2 a day cardio sessions! gotta like that.

I don't think we like them lol. Just have to do them. I'm at 1hr and 45 min of cardio a day right now. It sucks but we just suck it up and push through it.
 
Fuggin Cardio ... I walk a lot to avoid it. I will vary my pace quite a bit so I do get some solid exercise and with the fuggin snow ....

Calves and quads

Standing calf raises- in smith machine
275 4 x 20

Leg Press calf raises-
4 plates 2 x 20
6 plates 2 x 20

Seated calf raises
- 30 sec rest
2 plates 7 sets 20

Leg Extensions-
170 3 x 10

Squats-
275 3 x 10

Leg press- 30 sec rest
6 plates 7 x 10

Skipped hack squats, and didn't go to heavy tonight. Felt good but didn't want to push it. Although my quads were very full and tight after the leg press.
Layed around the house with the wife today (she is still sick) and missed a meal so my cals were a little low. Will be back on track tomorrow. I am going to be doing fasted cardio early in the mornings so I will start using the scales at the gym to weigh my self. I was 196.4 this morning after being sick, so hopefully I can keep dropping now. 11 weeks isn't very long!!
 
That's what I'm doing tomorrow lying around the house and finish watching The Shield with the wife.

Do you get sprayed at the show or does your wife do it for you?

My spray at my last show was $175

Last time my wife did it for me. I actually got just a normal spray tan at my home town, and then put several coats of tan on. I am not sure how I will do it this time....

Yes you figure motel, classes, NPC card, tickets, travel expenses, tanning,etc. Well over $1000.. I try to pay for it here and there instead of all at once ;)

Yea alot of people I know are prepping for stingrey which is like 2 weeks after mine but it's in hawaii.... talk bout an expensive show.


That's crazy!! The show I am doing is about 4 hours from here. There is another one in Kansas City about 3 months later, which is only an hour and a half from here, but I think I will pass on that one. Give my self some time to grow in between.

I'm not doing another till end of year I'm giving my self a 6 month off seas on to bulk I think

Coffee with 2 tbs coconut oil pre cardio this morning. 25 mins LIIS on the treadmill. My quads are a little sore, so no sprints ;)
Chest and possibly bis this afternoon and then I will do some cardio on the stepmill ugh!!

GOTTA KEEP PUSHING!!!!
 
You ever jut taken coconut oil plain? Horrible experience for me...lol...putting it in coffee is a good idea though!

I was really surprised today, on top of doing cardio this morning, and not having any carbs yet today my endurance was good and I got a pretty good pump in my chest and bis!! Definately getting them carbs in now though :D

Feeling good and lean. Having to go up another notch on my belt so I am headed in the right direction.

This. You've got the muscle mass, just stripping off the little fat you have slowly and retaining that mass is the fine tuning!

I may come up to the show and watch. I'm bowing out of this one. The Kansas City show is looking better to me.

So I have to watch how I do my carbs I guess. This is twice now, I will go no carb all day and do fine. But then hit them heavy post workout, and 1-2 hours later bam, I am shakey and a little nausous?? Is it from spiking my insulin and then it dropping quick? I had about 120g carbs, all fast carbs, sugars and white potato. Ugh!! I hate this feeling!!

Mix you're carbs.

I'd do 1/2c white, 1/2v brown rice post workout.
