Is Aspire 36 a CHINESE DRUG?

Invalid Link Removed

This is our most recent lot, you can see the report date is 2/4/08 and its for Lot#011708 which was manufactured in 1/08.

This lot tested negative for Vardenafil, Sildenafil, and Tadalafil.
We regularly test Aspire36, both the raws, and the post production product. We use multiple labs for testing.

We have also tested both the raws and the finished product for analogs, all of which are negative as well. We will not be releasing any further proprietary information.

I like the product and will order more, but if these results are accurate what is the problem?

Wow - this thread looks bad for everyone on here.

JMin - I know he had an agenda, but in light of recent events. :run:

I just want to say that dave and all of Palo Alto are top notch in my book and always will be. I can't believe that someone would pull this bullsh*t. My hats off to jminis for taking care of the moron. Palo Alto Rocks!!! :clap2:

That's not how I read it - but OK.

Saying BS means dude was wrong. Yeah - it wasn't posted all that great.
But - it wasn't BS.

Yeah, when i looked back at my wording it was misleading.......after 12 hours of hell from work man i'm not 100%. My bad. ;)

The guy was trouble bottom line. To join a new forum and blast one of the sponsors without posting a shred of proof is reason to go bye bye. My job here is to protect our community (sponsors and members) and that's what I did. Whether someone is right or wrong unless you have something to back up a claim of that magnitude you need to keep your mouth shut and not post speculative threads on 20 different forums.

Amen sir! :clap2:

LOL thanks fella's. When it's all said and done every member has a right to voice his or her opinion. If you try a supp and don't like it fine, post your feedback as it's appreciated. When you go for the throat of a company with nothing but my friend is doing a lab test. No dice.

On a side note I hope PAL can get Aspire back on the shelves with a new and improved formula!

Makes me wonder, who this guy was, regardless of his poor approach at posting, hes dissed, dismissed and banned, and then two weeks later theres a voluntary recall.

Was he just an ex-employee with an axe to grind and happened to spill some company secrets?

Was he a whistle blower thinking only of safety/truth in labeling?

Was he a competitor?

Was he an ex-employee who could have possibly intentionally and purposefully contaminated the product, then went to the fda, then started a smear campaign against his former employer?

Almost forgot, what if it was poison?

Just makes ya think.

Well I think its odd that the guy banned was 100% right. Look people blast IDS and other companies for unscrupulous manufacturing practices. People really should hold PAL to same standards. People's health are at risk when manufacturers do not institute proper quality controls. I'm not saying this to bash PAL but I think its funny that DSade and others bashed this guy and eventually banned him for telling us the truth. Kind of sad but I guess appropriate in the Bush era.

I don't think you're following along carefully enough. At the time of production, Aspire was tested for the 3 KNOWN analogs...Vardenafil, Sildenafil, and Tadalafil.

Apparently there are other analogs that were unbeknownst until after the initial testing was done.

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later:cheers:

No I dont think you are following. The FDA release states "Palo Alto Labs conducts stringent quality control testing on both raw materials and finished products. Previous testing protocols did not include a test for the presence of Aildenafil or sulfoaildenafil but Palo Alto Labs assures consumers that this deficiency has been rectified." It does NOT say that Aildenafil or sulfoaildenafil were previously UNKNOWN substances or could not be tested for. Someone tested the product and found these substances so there was a test for it; were these substances just discovered and newly named?? No. And PAL (and I applaud them for their reaction to this incident) immediately instituted testing for those 2 substances because there is a method of testing.

Again I am not trying to bash PAL. I applaud them for their quick action here. I work for a supplement company so I am aware of the potential dangers that can arise when you purchase your raw materials from China. But dont say I dont understand what occured here.

We use multiple labs for testing our products...

we had never heard of either compound, nor did either of our 3 testing labs

initially, we tested for all known analogs, including dimethyl sildenafil which came back negative

the fda says there is dimethyl sildenafil thoine and Aildenafil in aspire

dimethyl sildenafil thoine is something that the FDA said they discovered in late 2007 as a analog

Aildenafil is a pde-5 inhibitor that, again, is news to us and our labs, but works on similar mechanisms

so we tested for all known analogs, i even posted our test that showed all of the analogs that we tested for. the ones that the FDA are showing as active were not publicly known analogs, which is why none of our 3rd party labs tested for it.

Dave - I know PAL did everything in their power to bring the safest OTC ED supplement to consumers without misleading jargon. It's sad that this happened, but in NO way will I ever see PAL as an untrust-worthy company. You guys just keep up the fight!

So what company do you work for?

Unreal. Just unreal. That's what makes me hesitate in forming a supplement company of my own. It's not as easy as mixing up some good herbal mixes anymore thanks to turds like that.

ditto

So which one of the herbal ingredients was contaminated with these drugs?

under his user name, there, it says "Taking a break..." - I expect he'll be back; I've wandered off a time or 2, myself.

I was reading this thread and saw him posting here and decided to ask...
I asked cause I saw a thread on bb where he posted the new 3-ad ingredients and that thread was closed and I never saw him posting again, I was just wondering if the same happened here...

i was only kidding man...

i think he has a temp ban, not sure though..

I am curious, as well. Was a certain ingredient 'tainted'? Or, does any ingredient actually contain the illegal active?

Just wondering... I might try to grow some. :)
I have a bottle here and I still haven't tried the product, i want to know that also and if its safe to take it?

Sadly, I order elsewhere since NP is now out. There are plenty of websites selling this still.

I'd be willing to purchase any extra bottles from anybody as well. Just PM me.

PAL is a stand-up company. They wouldn't do something stupid, especially on purpose.

From what I heard, the original batches of Aspire passed lab testing, but the FDA apparently found an active, also found in Cialis, in Aspire 36 and Aspire Lite.

It's a shame that this had to happen. Such an amazing product.
