Hey ....... it's been a LONG time since I've been to Holland (20+ years). I'm lucky what I wrote came close to being a WELCOME and not something worse. :D

haha, you were probably correct in what you said... the translators make everything sound stoopid... but it makes enough sense that you could get the point of what was said

Welcome over, Shadow! :)

Grab a broom, we need a clean up detail in the Nutrition forum... ;)

Looking back, it was almost 30 years ago while on an assignment, and I most probably did that load of drugs back then. :D :D :D

Hopefully, you got the idea of a welcome. ;)

Hello everyone,

I originally discovered this board after I joined the bb forum a little while back. I've lifted weights the past five years, though I only actually got a clue fairly recently. I won't be using PHs anytime soon, not for a few years at least, not until I'm sure that I've reached my limits. Anyways, current stats:

Age: 23 Height: 6'3" (1.9m) Weight: 177lb (80kg) Bf: 9%

That's all for now. Have a nice day.

-RM

Hi All,

I am 25, 6'2 212. I enjoy long walks in the park, horse and buggy rides, and...oops...that's my dating service, I am on the wrong board. :D

Glad to be here. I was on BB.com for almost a year and I have been on this site for almost 2 weeks now and I really enjoy the QUALITY of some of the threads here. Glad to see alot of the bros I respect and trust are on here. Look forward to some insightful debates in the future. Take care to all!!!

Yes, I do. I've been trying to answer those Questions in the contest with some correct answers. :)

I don't get online as much as I'd like. Gotta make a living. :D

Anyway, once again, it's good to see ya' over here, too.

Just wanna say great forum. Been lurking here a little while and already have learned a lot about ph's, aas, and all the other 'new age' stuff coming out.

About me: 30 y.o.; been lifting since high school; seriously involved in lifting and martial arts since college - UCLA, class 94, BA philosophy (don't laugh - i did it for the chicks); currently freelance IT consultant.

Don't really bodybuild anymore, weightlifting's more my thing (power, oly, strongman) i.e. I haven't done a set of biceps curls since October 2002 (really!).

Other interests are mountaineering, backpacking, motorcycles and golf.

Again, thanks to all for such a healthy and informative forum. Keep up the good work!

Good to see another golfer on the scene. :D

BTW, where in So. Cal? I used to live in Mission Viejo for a few years.

I live in Rowland Heights, just north of Brea/La Habra. I'm down in OC a lot though, most of my friends and business is down there. Mission Viejo is cool, was just down there (Aliso, actually) for a bar-b-cue.

I just picked up golf last year, and I still suck. Hardest thing I've ever had to learn in my life. My timing stinks, I reverse pivot, and my hands are way too slow. But damn, when you hit it right - makes it all worth it :)

Ever notice how that good shot usually shows up on the last hole? It's the one that tells you that you must "come back" and play again. :D :D

The more chances you have to play or hit balls on the range, the more you will see an improvement in your swing and game. Once you get the correct position for your hands, arms, and good swing mechanics, it is all just repitition. When I'm at home, I get some practice in just hitting balls into the Gulf. It definitely helps when I'm too lazy to run over to the course.

Good luck on your golf and practice, practice, practice. :D :D :D

Whats up....
Im 34yrs old, weight is 180 right now(dying to get to 200) im 5'7" i got into lifting after i got out of the army. i looked at myself in a picture and seen the ol love handles kickin. i started hitting the gym with a good friend of mine that is a female.... she is HOT! anyway we went to the gym together for about 4 yrs straight then i quit for a while when i dated another chick. then once again i saw the handles and started back up. now i have been at it every since. im glad i got into it as i have inspired alot of people to get off their asses and workout. i wouldnt mind personal training but you have to have that stupid piece of paper saying your certified... what a joke! their ways in the books would never get anyone in shape. anyway i found bodybuilding.com and started learning about all the things i was doing wrong and found supplements that actually work. WHAT A TRIP something that works. i have taken stuff since back in the 80's and i thank god everyday i have boards like this. the knowledge you can learn from these boards you cant put a price on.
anyway i have done 3 different prohormone cycles and it has helped me tremendously. i have made it up to 195 but i still cant seem to break the 200 barrier.

so now you know a little about good_guye28
STILL LEARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

LunaHotel is about an old dream I have of someday building a hotel on the moon... Grand opening in 2030, with a gym inside. "Hey, I just benched 1500 lbs!"

OK back to reality. I'm now 35, 5'11", 210 lbs 18% bf and I started lifting at age 22 and a meager 140lbs. Been on the 'Net since 1994 and have read almost everything... meaning mostly crap. I'm just back to the gym for the last 3 months after 2 years off and it sure feels GOOD. Plan on keeping it right up, and see how big and strong I can get without doing AAS. PH I'm looking at, though. Cheers.

Oh, and I love this place, good quality info! :-)

Just signed up, so I thought I'd introduce my self. I am 23 and go to a university in OKC. I am one year away from medical school (I hope) and am majoring in biochemistry. Never been a real big guy and just got into powerlifting a couple of months ago. I will be breaking the Oklahoma State deadlift record for my weight class on August 16 with a 425 deadlift. I am going to try to get to 500 by December for the World's in Vegas, but we'll have to wait and see on that. I have been married for 3 1/2 years and have a 2 year old little girl. I have been a member of bodybuilding.com for over 3 years. I am also a member at musclechemistry.com and anabolicreview.com. I look forward to getting to know everyone on here and having some good discussions.

peace
Andy

Just have to say excellent forum, fellas. I'm 35 years old, 5'10" 230 and 10% bf. Could be a lot leaner but my diet is pure crap because it seems like I can't eat anything that doesn't come out of a drive thru window. Played small college football for four years and after that was kind of a binge and purge lifter. Would lift hard for about six months and then take six months off. Got bored with my job so I bought a small gym in western Nebraska and trying to make a go of it. We have a few hard core lifters and good equipment but not as many as I would like. I was a competitive powerlifter in college and thinking about competing again if I can get that fire lit under my ass. I'll try not to ask stupid questions or worse yet, give stupid advice. I like the no b.s. attitude on this board and looking forward to learning a few things. Hope I can be of some help too.

Travis

Introducing the Turd

Hey there. I thought I would introduce myself (again). This is actually my second identity on this board, but this way I can avoid my conflicts w/ my GF when posting about AAS etc.

Thanks,
