IFBB Pro Craig Golias - added 150lbs :0 !

My fiancé tells me I have the prefect body and if I get any bigger I'll be gross. She says that every time I'm unpacking a big box from nutra planet, lol

She also tells me I will never be awesome unless i make tons of pointless topics on my bodybuilding blogs...

I'm sure a lot of you guys know this but most of these guys don't do it for the fame, fortune or girls. Some guys actually want to become the best and rise above to show the world that they can stand on a pro stage and achieve a level of bodybuilding accomplishment that surpasses the rest. It just so happens mass is prevailing right now and some of these guys put a lot of heart into competing and trying to be the best they can be and it just so happens they have to be the biggest they can be. I disagree with it, i'm more of a fan of the "classic" style of bodybuilding for say when Zane prevailed with incredible posing and classical symmetry. People pay money to see the big guys or the freaky guys so this is just what aspiring pro bodybuilders have to do to accomplish their dreams of competing on an IFBB stage.
I'm not disagreeing with anyone either, i bet some of these guys have to do some stuff they wish they hadn't but it just shows how much and how bad some of these guys want it.

I agree 100% with tiny guy^

I would not want to be like him. But I also want to be lean and strong not look unreal. Plus youth can scar someone and kids are mean. If he really did become a pro because of being picked on when he was younger, well he is probably not picked on much now. Also he has accomplished his goals.

His head looks really small though

Him minus 20 pounds. Give me that physique. lol

I mean... at that size you lose mobility and athleticism, not to mention he probably barely has the endurance to walk up a flight of steps.

I got to meet Nasser El Sonbaty back in the early 2000's and that dude was walking around at 310-315lbs. Just beastly to the point where it was almost nasty. His arms, I kid you not, were almost the size of my head! LOL he's also listed at 6' tall but we were eye to eye at 5'10" as with most athletes, stats are overexaggerated.

Same with Flex Wheeler. Dude is very short! He's listed at 5'10" but I was probably 2" taller than him!

Right, and what few girls do find it interesting get bored quick when they have to alway be on top for the same reason

I've got a video of Nasser called "Nasser on the way" and the guy can't get his own shirt off when he get's an arm pump. I thought it was kind of funny considering the cameraman had to help him half a dozen times. I don't think i could handle having to do that all the time.

Yeah, the guy is a def a monster. And I'm sure he has a hard time wiping his own butt, especially if he can't even take off his own shirt :toofunny:

did you know he was 160 at 18 19 ? some of those guys started late

makes me feel not as bad for starting late at 21 :)
I wish i would of started lifting around my teens but then again i might not be into lifting as much as i am now.

I think if Nasser worked on stretching a lot more he wouldn't have as bad as a problem with flexibility. Some dudes don't care i guess :\
I for one would definitely want to be able to wipe my ass and take off my shirt by myself i'd stretch EVERYDAY haha

Dammit that reminds me I forgot my stretches the last few days

Glad i could help haha, Make sure you keep up with it so you can wipe your ass! :yup:

No man, I truly believe in if you start lifting in your teens, you won't grow as much as if you don't. evertime you do leg presses or heavy squats, that is gonna close the gap in your growth plates...

That's why Basketball players are tall, because they jump all the time and they stretch their growth plates

even if that were actually true, being short is better for a pro bodybuilder anyhow
