Ideas for Jobs

CrazyChemist

Well-known member
I just found out that I'm going to be taking a $2000 cut in pay for the next 3 months. This sunday coming I am getting married and I just lined up a 2 week honeymoon. I need a second job.

Presently I'm a graduate research assistant at the University of Connecticut in the field of chemistry with emphasis on computer program and physics. I've been a bartender in the past and I suppose I could function as a personal trainer.

Any ideas or insight are more than welcome.

go around to mom and pop businesses and drop off a card for computer repair if you are inclined in that area. Most small places cannot afford a full time IT guy, and I do this on the side and it can be quite profitable, especially if you undercut the computer stores around town and prove to be reliable and trustworthy. I've had great success with repeat business doing this, even though it can be hit or miss (we can all hope they keep clicking on things that give them viruses lol) with how busy you stay.

I agree with that.
Or as you stated a personal trainer is a good field as well.
The world needs both bro.
You could always incorporate the two and have it made.
Really.
IE: Fix the pc and talk about lifting.
Hey one thing rolls into another.

If that does not do it you can always join in the hell I'm in.
Factory work.
Money is ok, but 12 hr shifts suck.
Although temp agencies almost always have fill in works PT.
I have been thinking of doing that myself.
Times are tough, and although I make a buck an hr more then I made last year, I still stand to lose about 7500$ this year due to holiday closeing's and forced vacation.

Good luck bro.

JP.

when the word chemist comes to mind, so do the two words legal and illegal.
Anyway, enough of that.

u can make a lot of money from computer repairs bro. I used to basically live off that while in Uni.

Male prostitution, i've always been curious in that but then thought about the customer base.... i'm thinking it's some pretty mentally ill women. am I wrong?

I do network marketing as a side job to my chiropractic work. It is easy and the trick is to find a new product and company so that you are at the top. I just joined one that started its pre-launch just yesterday. Peer-reviewed research to back it up. protandimlifestyle.com I am already making 2k in my second month. They get a bad wrap, but they also make the most million dollar earners then any other industry.

Yea I think they get bad rep because in many cases, they have a resemblance with pyramid schemes. I have a couple of friends doing network marketing for this company called ACN. They make fairly good cash too.

A ton of them are pyramid schemes...just highly disguised. Take it from me, someone who has done about 10 of them, don't do them unless you are ready to take a lot of scrutiny along with it.

I'd stick with the computer deal. I have a degree in software engineering and i have basically made a nice killing doing online article writing and computer/network jobs, plus consulting on computer/network ideas...that, along with retail management, and I am ready for the long haul of this poor economy.

I know two patients that make 10-15k per month with ACN! It is a great product and company, but the problem is that they have already been on the market for a while. Most people need to get in within the first year of an MLM to make the big bucks. As long as the product can sell, you will make money by being one of the first. Most of the people that joined Amway with in the first year (1959) are now still making a 6+ figure income and havent worked for years. Thay are good second income jobs, that have the chance to turn into full time work if it goes well.
