This was one of those workouts that I went by feel. Needless to say, I wont be walking for a while :)

Box Squats (12 sets) 3 sets @ 315lbs 5 reps
Front squats (6 sets) 175lbs 8 reps (I hate these)
Standing calf raises (7 sets) 275lbs 10 reps

Felt good, strength was solid, and I did not want to stop. I was just concerned that I would overtrain.

Have one week left on proto, and then will be heading to natabolic. So I am going to start my Nata tomorrow.


Man I hate front squats too :lol: ...Looks like you had a solid workout for legs tho :jaw:

I got legs this Sunday, so I'm gonna man up and get the front squats in 1st, lol.
 
good luck on front squats. I have to say I the discomfort of their placement distracts me from the agony of the squat :lol:

Interesting day in all actuality. I was not feeling it at all at the start. I was tired and not interested. However, as the lift went on, I was really getting into it. Strength was good. I was very aggressive and my vascularity was nutty.

On a funny side note, I took my daughter to the dr. yestgerday for her b4 school checkup. Needless to say she is built like her day and is almost 70lbs @ 7.5 years old. She is also 4'4" tall. Unreal. Now the funny side of it is.....I have had this odd pain in my left middle finger above the hand knuckle but below the middle knuckle. It has caused a bit of grip issue for me recently and is just a nag. So I need an xray as it seems my doc believes its fractured most likely from lifting, and yet I keep lifting with it. Everytime I hurt myself he always laughs as I always seem to not do anything about it
 
Rough day prior to workout

Well today did not start off well. It seems our new cat was sicker than the shelter let on. So last night I was up past midnight as the poor thing was horribly sick with whatever parasite in her stomach that the medicine was unable to kill. The other issue is that she and our original cat just could not get along, so I had to return her :( That does not go over well with a little 7 1/2 year old who starts school tomorrow. Not a good morning

I did do a solid chest workout eventhough I was slightly distracted.

Flat BP (10 sets) 315lbs 2 reps 295lbs 5 reps
Floor Press (5 sets) 275 2 sets of 5
Incline flys (5 sets) 50lbs sets to failure (went for the burn on this)

The pump and sweat was very good. All other things are seemingly remaining constant. Again though, no strength increase of note
 
Its funny, my daughter is much better than the wife and I. It turns out that she might have beenin worse shape than we were told. My wife called the shelter to check on her, and they ued the Euthenasia word due to the possibility of how severe her stomach issues are.
 
Shoulder day. Well, my daughter was off for her first day of school. So I was all by myself today. Actually went and got the xray done on my finger, so we shall see within the next day or so.

Side Laterals (5 sets) 40lbs sets of 10
Rear Laterals (5 sets) 40lbs sets of 10
BB Shrugs (5 sets) 315,405, 495lbs
Upright rows (3 sets) 120lbs sets of 8

Felt good. All the same as in the past apply. Strength is compltely unaltered, but I feel good while working out. Pump is still solid, as I seem to truly feel it on rear delts.

I ended up doing shoulders today too. Mostly cable exercises with lower weight and high reps with a pause at the top... oh the burn !! lol
 
gotta love the burn. One of the great (and painful) reasons we do this in the first place

today is my off day, so just some cardio/abs this am and rest till deads tomorrow afternoon
 
very mediocre workout today. I am starting to feel as though I have not made too much progress this last month :(

Deads (10 sets) 2 sets @ 405lbs 2 reps :aargh:
BB Rows (5 sets) 185lbs sets of 5-8
Underhand grip chins (4 sets) BW to failure

Ok, so it is 9/4/2010 and here is the summary of the log.

My weight is 207lbs. Up 1lbs from the start of the log, which is not what I expected out of this to be honest.

Positives:
Slight recomp effect. I do look a tad leaner than I did prior
Muscle hardness even at a state of relaxtion, my muscles seemed denser
Vascularity increased from an early stage, which I always was happy to see

Negatives:
No strength gains whatsoever none of my lifts saw any gains, everything over the last 5 weeks stayed entirely stagnant
1lbs weight gain not nearly what I expected. I do realize that proto is very mild, however, I expected something more along the lines of 1andro, which I saw more significant gains

Overall, it is tough for me to grade this. The major reasons for me to make a run at a ph/ds once a year is for strength and weight, and since I had neither, this would be an overall subpar review. However, its mild, so for someone looking to give a ph/ds a shot for the first time, this might be a very easy transition one to use.

Once again though, I thank IBE and their reps for giving me an opportunity to be open and honest here about their new product.

I was really hoping you'd see some more positive effects like some of the other testers did but everyone reacts to things differently. I'm glad you added a 2nd bottle too to try out a dosing routine other than the cookie cutter one that's on the label, lol.

Do you think this would be something you would use in the future but as part of a stack like a recomp or cut ??

I might consider it for a recomp with another option, maybe a fura. That could be interesting

That sucks man, I recently did a stack of SD/HD/Cyno through a new (shady) company, and I got NOTHING from it, actually lost strength/muscle and gained bf%. I was peeved because like you I go for big strength/weight gains on few cycels I do, and from all that my strength and body composition got worse. Diet and training were on point too (~5lbs of natty PB in 30 days).

I'm just wrapping up a Natadrol run, and put on 8lbs and good strength. If you haven't tried that yet, it's something to consider after PCT.

Good company response. When I logged some PH for a shady start-up company they started blaming me for no results though I showed in my log I did everything I could. Reps to IBE for integrity.
