I have GERD and diary makes my reflux worse, milk more so than cheese and yogurt. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen; especially with milk. I was thinking since I pretty much can't eliminate dairy completely(college student budget), maybe I can take lactase pills. The issue is, they're expensive if I have to take them every time I have dairy and they'll run out quick. I do have a pill cutter though and depending on how much lactase I need(I have no idea btw), I cut cut the pills in half and conserve that way. Any suggestions? Oh, and I have noticed increased inflammation since I'm been eating more dairy lately. My fingers and hands keep feeling sore.
