I wish Johnny Cash was alive still. Love his music.

I will second that one.. didn't appreciate him as much when he was alive but now that he is gone.. kinda sad...
I wonder sometimes if Jim Morrison would survive if we could bring him back.. he was a bit self-destructive...
Freddy Mercury is one I wish was still around, I have always like the group Queen

WOW.....desperate housewife-ing tonight?
If your so bored, why not get the flavor packs on the site

But seriously....hmmm...How about Einstein. It would be cool to see what kind of crack smoking ideas he could come up with nowadays.

Princess Diana - yeah, that was a tough one. I hate to see Moms' die.

Okay, now I will show my age on the next couple of names

Robert Reed - Mike Brady on The Brady Bunch
Bill Bixby
Sam Kinison
John Belushi

Thetwo other SNLers - Gilda Radner andf Phil Hartman.

Me having dinner with Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin, scheming.

It was sad when Mr. Rogers passed.

Definitely Hartman, Farley, and Belushi, those guys were brilliant. And why hasn't anyone mentioned Hendrix yet?

oh - Mr. Rogers - that one really hurt!!!! I actually remember him explaining the Vietnam War to me (I am soooo old) and I really missed him.

How about Freddie Prinze? Maybe you are too young for him - had a show called Chico and the Man.

Have a great day.

hahahaha    I remember that one.

Bump on Phil Hartman. That guy was funny! I almost said Sam Kinison too. I'm sure we could fill this thread up if memories come back to us old timers

That's a good list. If I had to make my own additions, I'd tack-on Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, John Lennon (I think a Beatles reunion would have been something to see), and Layne Staley of Alice in Chains. Payne Stewart is another.

Yeah, all of us "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" era people remember them old school days and ways.

William Conrad aka "Frank Cannon", Who decided that toad should be a leading man? We used to get high and ridicule that guy, lots of fun.

How about Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, Edward G. Robinson and Steve McQueen a year under Bobo's tutelage and then put them in some Robbie Rodriguez and John Woo movies?

Time machine to bring back young Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Paul Newman, Barbara Streisand and Sophia Loren.

I'd also bring back people like David Ben-Gurion, Alice Paul, Vladimir Lenin,James Madison and Plato ,so Strateg0s could have a drinking Bud.

Sandler's Career is doing better than Van Damme, Seagal or Alcholic Jan Michael Vincent, I'll trade those three for a return of the Three Stooges; and I'll throw in Justin Giarini And Wacko Jacko on the side.

stevie ray vaughan
randy rhoades
hendrix
layne staley
kurt cobain

can anybody tell i play guitar?

I would have liked to see what Metallica would have done if Cliff Burton hadn't died so young
this is a very interesting query. jason newstead was a bad ass as well though and he did not prevent them from going down the shitter. i don't think cliff could have saved them either.

Joe Strummer (former lead singer of the Clash) .. i had never been affected by someone i never personally knew dying until he passed ... right before the Clash were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and serious talk about going on a reunion tour :( .. i was lucky enough to see him live with his most recent group (joe strummer and the mescelaros) twice
