That is actually the plan as its high carb day, post w almond milk mixed w Cinnabon protein so it tastes like those gooey orange cinnamon rolls...those are insane.

I get 75 grams of carbs from a sweet cereal post workout. My go to is 3.5 cups Cookie Crisps!!!! I eat it dry to keep the fats away from it so I don't slow it down at all. Thinking of making a vanilla protein shake and tossing the cereal in it and blending it up to see how that works out.

Although now I am contemplating switching to PB Captain Crunch!!!!

Well, that was a very delicious periWO protocol, but I have to say I worked for it today! 2.5 hours of clangin' - 10 work sets on the bench, not counting 5 warmups. Also turned the weight up on the 3 compound accessories.

Great session Hyde! Looked like a lot of fun. So you did the mix with the cinnabon protein? I have never had cinnamon and orange together. Sounds odd but also probably very good.

Yes, and got it to nearly the same consistency as cinnamon roll glaze. Mixed in 2 cups of the Orange Capn and it was crazy good for my preWO. Salted Gatorade intra (I don't like to spend my carbs this way but it's essential on the Predator days) and ended up with 2.5-3 cups of Jasmine rice with chicken breast and buffalo sauces post. Ate some more Capn later behind my greens meal. Ended with ~400 carbs, under 175 protein and 50 fat.

Woke today at 231.6, same as yesterday

When you do your chicken breast with the buffalo sauces how do you prepare it? I have tried just putting the sauce over a cooked breast and did not enjoy that at all.

So good. I always bake my chicken on foil-covered sheets; no cleanup vs boiling or crockpot. When I'm about to eat I take out my portion and pull it with a fork or chop it with a knife, heat it in the microwave w the pre-cooked rice, and add the sauce after and mix it all up. So the rice is orange and flavored as well.

Okay that sounds good, so the part I missed was probably shredding / dicing the chicken first. I tried to just put it over the breast whole. Was not great.

What buffalo sauce do you use? Some of them out there SUCK! If you like any Indian flavors you should check out a bottle of Matouk's in just about any flavor. The Hot Pepper and Calypso are voth very good but hot. The Flambe Sauce is amazing but it is definitely hot! However the flavor of these is just unreal in my opinion. They are not Hot Wing sauces exactly but I have used them for that purpose and really enjoyed them. Taste test them before adding them to your food though. They are surprisingly hot for something you can get in the international isle at a normal grocery store. The Hot Pepper was the milder one out of the 3 I have had which are Flambe, Calypso and Hot Pepper.

Man I'm so simple. I buy Burman's Hot Sauce at Aldi for 87 cents a bottle or occasionally Sweet Baby Ray's wing sauce if I want it thicker. But as long as it tastes like red pepper and vinegar, I'm happy lol

Yeah the Matouk's is really awesome but not a lot of vinegar. If you ever happen to be strolling down the international isle and see it though it is a worthy impulse buy. :)

I didn't realize SBR had one. I will check that out. I wish Hooters sold their 3 Mile Island or Bentley sauce at the grocery store. I love that they put actual pepper chunks in it.
 
Day 19

Morn Weight 231.6

Dose still at 160mg/day til Friday, when I will bump again.

Hercules certainly isn't hurting any. I have managed to come down a lb or 2 while managing to progress in training. I have noticed no sides, there is no change in energy, mood, or acute feelings of it "working". It doesn't appear there is a noticeable impact on pumps or fullness. I am at a very slight caloric deficit but am certainly not struggling to recover - this really may be helping in recovery. My left knee and right tricep tendon and lat insert have all stopped hurting since starting Herc, despite increasing workload. Furthermore, I think I will be able to do heavy skulls without elbow cuffs this week - something that hasn't happened in a long time. And soreness isn't much of an issue typically lately.

Good day, definitely a volume PR on the squats today at that weight. Last set was PRE9.5 so I will go up to 375 next week and full deload the following as it's meet week, then go from there.
 
That's awesome that the product is healing you up so much! But please don't tempt fate by doing triceps without your cuffs! It's really not worth it. I skipped heavy extensions until I got my sleeves, might as well enjoy the blessing but keep paying down on your insurance, if you know what I mean.

It really may be helping. That is probably a sound choice - plus, the cuffs let me cheat!

Yeah, I am to the point I have to start putting my cuffs back on for bench. At least in training to keep my elbows happy.

I wear my sleeves for the entire workout. On test days I wear them until my top set, and at meets I wear them until it's time to step on the platform. Even on days they feel good. Even if they feel good for a month! Elbows are so finicky.

Last day at 160mg. I think 250x7 might be a 5lb 7s PR, and I've never moved the 120s on any pressing, let alone neutral grip. They were still heavy AF despite adding cuffs. Got a break on incline bench so I pushed those. No sled work because legs are still sore and I was lazy.

Lol I'm pretty sure I would have even been kicked out for my top sets of belt squat at Planet Fitness! I had my iPod in my teeth since the harness blocks my pockets and my hands were on the handles, so every breath was lunk status

This gym is so good. Good ac, every machine possible, they encourage chalk, tons of racks and bars and 3 pulling platforms, specialty bars.
