Hyde Attacks the Optimum Alpha Stack

That tandem bench was interesting indeed.. hope your holidays were great brother

Hoped that would amuse! They were great, think I was able to keep my weight fairly static despite 10 heavy meals in 6 days (seriously). Training was very good, accordingly.

Well gang today was the final day on Preworkout and Epicatechin. Had a tank on for the pressing session today and was sporting some great vascularity with the performance to back it up. Only had an hour but got some awesome work in.

Spoto Press

High Incline DB Press

Been pausing my 5/3/1 sets lately and 270x4 was cake despite this; I could have done it for 6 touch n go as I actually pressed the 5th solo but had to pop my butt off the low bench we were using to do so. Strength continued to surprise me as the 245 spotos were just so powerful and easily controlled.

All my lifts are up over the last month, I look big as ever, and have only gained maybe 2lbs these last 4 weeks. I will post my full review soon but I am very pleased with my results.

Interesting on the Spoto press. Had to look those up. I've been doing those for years on my inclines, just didn't know they were called Spoto.

Something I picked up as a suggested accessory from Brandon Lilly when I was Cubing that has always served me very well. Low impact on the body and big carryover and you don't need anything fancy or to even change equipment after you finish normal benching.

He called them that as former WR holder Eric Spoto is famous for them, and a bencher named Larsen has also popularized them. 1 in off chest pause bench is wordy lol

I have used the "Spoto" press on most benching and didn't know it. I just did it for continuous tension to increase TUT.
