i think i have a pretty solid workout routine. its just i feel like im not eating enough! i pretty much make myself eat all day. is there a way i could make myself more hungry? i hate that i have to feel sick just to put down a sandwich

you can try weight gainers....easy way to put in calories without eating

+1

Also you just have to force yourself to eat. I used to not hardly eat. I just forced myself every couple of hrs to eat. Eventually your body will adapt and start getting hungry at the same times every day.

ya

yeah i use cytogainer. usually do little half servings.. (like 300 or so calories and 28-30 g protein) but i guess ill just bite down and start force feeding myself.. every 2-3 hours.. not like 800 per 2 hours but you know lol thanks guys.

Try to drink a lot of water.. After you finish eating, drink a lot of water. You'll notice after a while it will take a lot more to fill you up.

We have stretch receptors in our stomach so drinking a lot of water with a meal would give you more of a sense of fullness.

I've also read that it can be easy for people to mistake the hunger drive for thirst. As in, you feel hungry but in fact you're just thirsty. This happens more in people who fail to stay well hydrated though, apparently. That may or may not pertain to you all, I just thought it was interesting. I read about it when I read an article about how a certain percentage of Americans are chronically dehydrated... yada yada yada... mistaking the drive for hunger for being thirsty.

Water = good

Peace

just lower your meal frequency from eating every 2.5-3 hours, to 1.5-2 hours so you can get more meals in you, just ask jay cutler who uses this technique.

i dont really think there is a way around it other than forcing yourself to eat after you feel full. it is just a small price for getting the body you want.

edit: good luck

Good way to stretch the stomach - drink a heap of water after downing a high carb meal (oats, muesli etc), stretches the stomach more than just water alone because of the oats swelling up. Sure, you'll feel kinda overfull and sick for a while, but once the body flushed the water through, you'll feel good as gold.

Added benefit that the oats may release the water slower during digestion, keeping you hydrated for longer. (This is only something I've read elsewhere, so don't quote me on this, just kinda makes sense to me.)

remember though to work out your maintenance amount of calories ie work out what your calorie intake is now as youre not gaining weight then introduce more calories bit by bit until you start to see a difference. Going overboard on food youre likely to get fat.

stretching your stomach is very possible. alot of gastric stapling and other weight loss surgical patients fail to lose weight because they stretch out their remaining stomach back to original size!
love the water idea guys, thanks.
