HIT4ME Pushing The Envelope With Evolutionary Muse

It's where you be like most other Americans. Sit around, try to walk less than 3000 steps that day, don't lift anything heavy etc.

Oh, actually, I am awesome at that. You just pretty much described most weekdays for me....Except for the hour I spend lifting.

Nonono you CANT lift anything heavy only thing you can lift is food

Actually, now that you mention it, that sounds easier and more enjoyable than what I'm doing. Let's do that. /thread

I was just kidding...Still doing this, haha.

Morning Weight:

Bodyweight: 186.9
Aria Bodyfat %: 24.8%
Waist: 39.75"

I may be nearing the end of the water weight loss. We will see. This may be the better point to determine the 15 pounds from.

Question for you HIT4ME, What should I buy, Absolutely Abliderated or Abliderated Advanced? Looking for something to help slim down after PCT and before the Florida vacation.

HIT4ME I have two things. Well. Three things.
1. I'm in. Sorry I'm late.
2. Who do I ask about the email I got a few weeks about winning an evomuse brite. Is it legit?
3. Also I know you can lose 10 lbs in a month. I was 197 near the beginning of this month and just by working out harder and really cleaning up my calories I'm back down to 184. You can kill this man. I expect 15lbs out of you!!

Absolutely Abliderated KILLS abliderate advanced, which is why I discontinued it.

Sorry to be late SFreed - It looks to me like Absolutely Abliderated is an upgrade to Abliderate Advanced - same stuff in both, but Absolutely Abliderated has some extra ingredients. As dsade said, it seems like Abs. is a better choice.

I like Abliderate for PCT fat loss because of the 7-Keto DHEA in it, which I typically try to include in my PCT anyway. Seems like it will kill two birds with one stone.

Supernova is also good, but I think if you have to choose one to include from a PCT angle, Abliderate may have the edge because of that. Maybe DSade can shed more light?

Well, it's really too bad you're late because I only answer questions for people who sub within the first 2 pages. So, you're on your own. :)

Not sure what email you got...if you want to PM me I can see what I can find out, but DSade may know more. Not sure if that's legit or not - I think someone WAS running a give away but I was not involved.

As for #3 - that's crazy fast weight loss. Great job. Now I need to deliver the same!

Absolutely Abliderated has everything that Abliderate Advanced had in it, but uses the hybrid carrier, which I'm able to get into better consistency. As well, there are several ingredients that absolutely annihilate that 11b-HSD enzyme beyond just the 7-oxo, and also includes ingredients to help tighten skin a tad and reduce inflammation.

Ok, so yesterday wasn't my best diet day. Not HORRIBLE, but not what I'd hoped either. I had 1 cup egg beaters, 1.5 oz. reduced fat cheese, 1 scoop of Select, 1 TBSP coconut oil and 1 TBSP peanut butter during the day. That totals about 600 calories, and only about 65-70 grams protein.

Then, for dinner, I had a cheat meal (yup, just 3-4 days in!). This cheat meal was 6 pieces of boneless bbq chicken and I anticipate it was about 700-800 calories with the sauce...not horrible, but the sauce has sugar in it and who knows what. Then I had 2 atkins type low carb bars...another 320 calories. So I ended up around 1700-1800 calories. The good news is, the chicken probably helped me hit my protein.

But, I didn't think all that was so bad, but here's today's weigh in:

Bodyweight: 188.6 pounds
Aria Bodyfat %: 25.5%

Not sure why my bodyfat has consistently gone up...but it's just a scale so I'm not gonna worry. I think the mirror is actually showing some improvments, mostly my upper abs. If I flex them, I can see the outline of them - which is way more than I could see at 185 when I did my last log, and an improvement over the beginning of this log already.

Which reminds me, I never posted any noodz.

I can't seem to get a good picture in any of the mirrors I have. I have small bathrooms in my house, and the full length mirror I have is really old and the camera has focus issues with it....so those are as good as it gets haha.

Those photos were taken one day after starting this log, but I've been lazy and not put them up until now.

You're still winning man ! A wise woman I met recently told me be thankful for what you have or it could always be worse.

I myself have decided to cut into Oblivion until I'm at least 15%

Thanks brother! The secret to happiness is to appreciate things! I am thankful for all the cheesecake I ate in December. I am also thankful that I have the chance, again, to lose it. All is not lost! Actually, I'm not all that upset about things, maybe I should be, but I've gained 25 pounds since my rock bottom weight - which was lower than I could even get in college when I was 21 years old. At this point I'm walking around at around 10-15 pounds more than when I was in college, and I used to walk around with another 120 pounds beyond this. I'm starting from a pretty good spot.

And yes, I understand the cutting into oblivion thing. I'm trying to get lean again - but you also carry a lot more muscle than me. When you finally get to the finish line, you will have much more to show!

Duuuude! Get a scale without the bf thing - it'll drive you nuts! Work your diet and your exercise, and stick to the scale (occasionally) and the mirror - it'll do you fine!
Just my 2c of course!

Lol, yeah....It doesn't drive me nuts. I like having multiple types of measurements, since none are really accurate. The scale is sensitive to water weight...So I don't put a lot into it...Just look for the pattern over time. If it keeps climbing and I get to 180 or so, then I will start thinking something is wrong. For now, I just don't care too much.

How many protein shakes a day?

How many protein shakes a day?

Anywhere from 1-3. I normally have coffee with a scoop of Select and coconut oil in the morning. It gets me going and it normally does a great job killing my appetite until the afternoon. In the afternoon I will usually either do that same shake again or have egg beaters and cheese or chicken or beef jerky. And then I take another shake immediately after working out (well, within 45 minutes usually) and then I eat dinner about an hour later.

So, on some days when I don't work out it could be 1-2, on workout days it's usually either 2-3.

That's what I am thinking. UnicornDrpns said that in the beginning. Just trying to prove her right.

I just took my second dose of DCP about 40 minutes ago. I've been taking Bromelain WITH each DCP dose. Well, I had the Brite idea around 11:45 that I would try taking it 10-15 minutes before my DCP dose so I took the Bromelain then, and planned on taking DCP at noon.

Well, I went outside to look at my broken snow blower while the weather was nice and got into fixing that and didn't remember the DCP until about 1:15 when I was all done.

I took the DCP, Brite and some green tea. Then I made broccoli, eggs and cheese. Right after eating.. actually I had to hurry and finish eating....I got some MAJOR stomach pains and had to run to the bathroom. I mean, I was doubling over.

I downed 1 cup almond milk and just like that it went away.

On the plus side, my body temp is way up. I am sweating bullets. I think I am sweating more just doing nothing right now than when I work out.

This is interesting to me because I have a below average body temp consistently. A few nights ago I took my body temp 3x and it was between 95.6-96.8. I have, in the past not trusted this thermometer, but I've tested myself with a second thermometer and the two are close to each other. My gf uses this thermometer and it gives her normal readings.

So, in light of that no products raise my temp. When I used T3 I got readings below 98, typically 97-97.5.

A lot of people on here note temp increases with Evomuse products. With me, they are strange. Sometimes I don't get much of an increase or at least I don't notice. Then, randomly, I will have waves where I am sitting in a car and start burning up, or like now where I just sweat like I can't believe for no reason.

I truly believe when someone is trying to lose weight, there protein shakes intake should be after workouts..

If you can afford it humapro is also a great protein source. 0.1 calories, no carbs no fat no nothing but a protein source. The flavors are great too. It would be a good addition to help you get some satisfaction without sacrificing calories.

I know....and I agree that whole foods would be better - but in reality what I'm finding is that loading with coconut oil is having a positive effect on my appetite, energy, etc. - so I want to put coconut oil in my coffee. Mixing some protein in there actually seems to amplify the effects from a hunger perspective. It's not JUST that I'm not looking to eat after I drink it, I seem to have some kind of leptin or hormonal issue where I NEVER get full, never really get to a point of eating where I feel like, "I really can't have another". I am beginning to think it's a pathology of some sort - probably the reason I got fat in the first place. I notice the same thing in my dad especially. I am guessing it is part of having bad eating habits that throw your hormones out of whack and then they can't recover - but the more I'm reading about eating and hormones, the more complex it all becomes. Most people don't understand how leptin works, but it is actually only a piece of the puzzle.

The point of that is, that the shakes actually seem to be helping me "reset" my eating. Increasing fats, especially the MCTs in coconut oil, reduces my eating, but also seems to make me more satisfied when I do eat. I'm not sure it is the answer to anything, but I'm experimenting.

What do you think shakes do that makes it harder to lose weight? I'm curious if you have just noticed this effect in people (you seem to be right when other people follow this advice) - or if you have some idea of what is going on that causes a problem?

If you can afford it humapro is also a great protein source. 0.1 calories, no carbs no fat no nothing but a protein source. The flavors are great too. It would be a good addition to help you get some satisfaction without sacrificing calories.

I will look into this. I tend to just buy what I can on sale, and if it's good and it goes on sale I get as much as I can and stock up. Select tends to go on sale enough that I pretty much always have stock and by the time I'm getting low it goes on sale again....so as much as I always say I'm going to try something new, if it isn't a steal I tend to not need to buy it. Modern Protein and Select are always on hand.

In other news, a couple nights ago I tweaked my back/groin while deadlifting. Like everyone, I have the idea of a hernia going through my head, but I was pretty sure it was just a pull/strain. I did squats the next night and those felt absolutely fine - but I did straight legged deads after the squats (much lighter weight than regular squats) and everything felt fine until about my 9th and 10th rep. Then I could tell it hurt. I was off yesterday so I just let it rest, and it's better today but still hurts. The motion of standing up from a seated position, the point where I have to drive my hips forward, is actually the only time it really hurts. Standing, bending over, lifting things - these are all fine unless I'm going from a seated or bent over position and trying to drive my hips forward.

I MAY skip working out tonight, but I'm thinking I might just go do everything but the deads/leg presses on my workout. Not sure yet.

This type of thing happens from time to time and it can be amazing how finding the right stretch or exercise can almost instantly fix the problem. I thought I'd share this video which is one of the best stretches I've ever found, and use from time to time because I sit A LOT for work and this is great for setting things right.

I'm a HUGE fan of Elliot Hulse. He can be a bit goofy, but his advice is usually pretty good and he has a ton of good videos just about movement patterns and getting your body working right - and some unique stretches like the one above.

AND! While looking at youtube videos for stretchs I found this and thought you guys deserved to see it...it's almost as hot as FireTitan 's noodz.

HIT4ME
I do believe you eventually hit a level where you just can't eat like you used to. It just doesn't help with psychological cravings - it just stops hunger. When I go shopping for one of my cheat meals, I don't even get halfway through what I buy without feeling like bursting. And I buy less than I used to have for a meal. But I still dream of polishing off at one sitting 3-4 slices pizza, nachos with jalapenos, spaghetti and cheese marinara, a calzone or 2 and then desert. I couldn't do it but I still dream of it.
But at least most of the time the fat person hunger is gone.

Yes, this is what I would expect ...But I NEVER feel full. If I let myself go, I can eat enough to literally make jaws drop.

I am not saying I don't have ANY control over it conciously, but you would think that at some point it would become uncomfortable to continue eating or I literally would look at the food and be sick thinking about eating it. I have to conciously stop. I've never had any kind of off switch since I can remember.

I'll say it......Thanks for the video HIT4ME. 3:50 and 4:20 might have cured my libido issues

Glad someone watched that. I fell in love instantly...Plus she helped me relieve some back pain with a stretch I will never forget. The Elliot Hulse video...I have to go find that sometimes to remember how to do it. Her video....I will never forget.

The first comment below was great too. Some guy said, "Thanks, you helped me work out my right arm."

I wish my eating memory had amnesia.

Lol - my eating memory is solid. I have actually been doing a ton of research and I REALLY think the Epitome could be VERY important for someone like me. Leptin function can get really screwed up with over eating and I have a lifetime of it. Apparently all kinds of hormones are tied in with hunger too. Leptin effects testosterone for instance. GABA plays some kind of critical role in leptin signalling...A role so critical that too much or too little can create over eating or appetite suppression so powerful rats will starve to death.

I decided to work out tonight, but I will be skipping squats, deads, straight Legged Deadlifts and leg presses for a few workouts. I figure it is an opportunity to get some extra volume in on my lagging bodyparts.

Pull ups:
1 x 9 x bw + 25 (increase of 10 pounds but no squats/SLDL before)

Bench Presses
1 x 8 x 135
1 x 10 x 200 (finally hit 10...But again..Less fatigue)

Military Presses
1 x 8 x 120 ...This is my sticking point
1 x 6 x 120

Rope Face Pulls
1 x 15 x 95

Rope Press Downs
1 x 7 x 52.5
1 x 6 x 52.5

Barbell Preacher Curls
1 x 7 x 75
1 x 5 x 75
1 x 4 x 75

Diet today was a scoop of protein and coconut oil in coffee, 1 cup egg beaters, 4 oz. Reduced fat cheese, 6 oz. Chicken, 2 bags broccoli, and a scoop of Select protein in 1 cup almond milk. Oh, and another cup almond milk when I had the DCP issue.

Totals of about 1260 cals, 175 protein, 50 fat, 45 g carbs (including fiber).

Yeah...Not sure what happened with him. I don't follow anyone on youtube really...Just search when I am looking for stuff and then sometimes click on more videos as they come up...But some of his videos definitely got out there.

Loved him at first, then he propagated more -and more esoteric BS, later he had a biceps tear and drowned apparently in self pity.

It's a shame.

You ever been kick out of Golden corral for dipping cotton candy in the chocolate fountain?!? I have!!!! You notice they now have a sign at all stores saying you can not do that. Well they use to not but I'm the reason they do now lol

2 times in my lifetime. one time we never got to sit down. I was with 4 lineman from college. we got the "you eat too much you need to leave".

Workout:

Still avoiding squats, dreads, etc. My pulled muscle feels almost healed, I will give it tomorrow and Wed. Is a rest day. Thursday I will try to incorporate these exercises again.

Pull Ups

And that was it.
