Unanswered Higher Dose HMB

Anyone still use HMB, calcium or free acid? I’ve never tried it with consistency, but using it now and plan to give it 12 weeks. I know it doesn’t really work that well according to new research, but has there been any research on double dosing or has anyone here tried going higher like 4-6g per day?
 
I have not but would be interested to see the results someone gets from double dosing it for a 12 week period.
 
If you can afford 4g of fee acid go for it and let us know :)
I tried 4g of Ca-HMB for few weeks and was not impressed.
 
6 g of Ca-HMB for 8 weeks during a natty cut helped me minimize muscle losses. I managed also to keep my numbers in all the main lifts. I think it is a decent anticatabolic.

Stack that with micellar whey and your set.
 
Never tried HMB by itself but I’ve tried it in a natural anabolic stack called Heights by Breakthrough Labz

2.8g HMB, 1g Arachidonic Acid, 100mg Epicatechin, 100mg laxogenin

The endurance, recovery, strength and pumps were comparable to a low dosed cycle
 
Yeah Im skeptical any dose will do much of anything if just added alongside a routine youve been recovering/progressing fine on anyway. Crank the fuk out of your weekly volume and see how it goes then.
 
I've always seen mixed reviews on HMB. Some love it others say it doesn't do anything but I haven't experimented with it much.
