Ok so let's do this....
somebody find me a sweet intimidating compact pistol from 9mm on up, for between 350 and 450 bucks.
and I am probably answering my own question here (i should just go to a gun shop / show and see how they feel in my hand) but i have normal to i guess slightly smaller hands (6.5 wrist maybe 3inches palm) a full size 1911 or glock or what ever wouldnt be too big would it?
Not talking anything like Desert Eagle or some other hand cannon. just a normal pistol.![]()
I'll take one of these:

seriously though how crazy did a gunsmith need to be in the 1930's to get the idea to rock and roll a 1911, add a foregrip and port the barrelwhat that 50 years before the full auto Baretta or Glock 18?

The only thing I don't like about them, is the weight and a bit bulky. If your looking for an inexpensive gun, American Made HI-Point.

Milspec said:I've had a Nirinco AK - complete garbage. Then had a Romanian AK (ROMAK) - it was ok, didn't particularly care for the AKs. I then had a Cetme ( HK G3 clone) and absolutely loved it. Also was building an Imbel FAL, had the parts kit and completely refinished all parts, it was ready for a receiver but I couldn't find a decent Type 1 or Type 3 receiver for under $400 so I ultimately sold it. If I ever get another assault rifle, it'll be .308 and probably a FAL. Not a huge fan of ARs but it's only because of all the time I had on M16s, leave it to the military to make you hate shooting something lol.
Bolanrox said:Lol. I was leaning ak for the reliability and the 308 which was why I was think push come to shove m14 or very accurate ak build![]()
Thanks, opinion from a Hi Point user!
Just talked to my buddy last night who shoots his .45 regularly.
