UPDATE:
On September 24th, I had a visit with an Endocrinologist (extremely brilliant and cool guy!). I had the following tests preformed...
Total Testosterone
Free Testosterone
LH Level
Prolactin Level
Thyroid panel
It was a LOT of blood which sucked, but, I received word of my tests today. I'm going to cut & paste a portion of the e-mail from my doctor:
"
I wanted to inform you of your lab values. I would be happy to do that over e-mail if you like. Please respond to this e-mail and I will give you the values. However, you must understand that e-mail is not a secure form of communication and the e-mail may be read by others. If you are willing to take that chance, I am happy to give you the actual values over e-mail. I will tell you, everything was fine. With one exception. I would like for you to stop the testosterone booster drug that you were on. You definitely do not need to boost your testosterone level any more."
So, I just replied letting him know that it is fine to send me the values by e-mail. I don't expect that I will have them until Monday. However, it seems like my testosterone was very high from the way I understand that.
We'll just have to wait for the numbers!
Lessons learned so far:
1) I'm a moron for not doing research and listening to a guy at GNC regarding prohormones.
2) I'm getting "smarter" by using this wealth of knowledge on Anabolicminds! You guys all rock and I couldn't have received better advise!
3) Lab tests are F-ing expensive.
4) Every now and then, you get a really good doctor that seems genuinely committed to helping you reach your biological goals.
5) The PCT I was taking was cheap, effective, and regardless of what you hear, Novedex XT apparently does
something. How much of something will wait until Monday I guess
But once again thank you to everyone that gave me advise. Hopefully I can pass on the information I learned from you guys to some other newbie!
