I haven't tried the new lipo delivery yet! I've read that it's highly efficient though, can't wait to try it. I like to stack Q10 with some D-Ribose and ATP, great pre-w/o antioxidant for sure. Just a solid all-purpose nutrient in general.

Honestly I feel like I may be a nonresponder to creatine, although it is highly possible that I am just WAY underdosing it, as I have no scale and apparently no one knows how many scoops of NP bulk creatine-mono = 5g lol. I have just been using 1 scoop (5cc scoop) and just assuming it is close to 5G o.O

Yeah, I've been using NP bulk creatine mono also. I just kept trying scoops from my retardedly enormous assorted scoop collection, until one registered 5.0g on my top-loader. :) Good enough.

Are to taking it with 4-5g of carb per gram of creatine? It makes a difference IME.

If you happen to still have that tiny ass scoop that came in the NP creatine tub, could you do me a HUGE favor and see how much one scoop holds? I am fairly sure it isn't 5G, but then again my body can't weigh stuff that small lol...

I put 25G kwik karb and 1 scoop creatine into whatever pre-wo im using, regardless of its creatine content, because its usually low anyway, and then I do 2scoops nutrapro and 2 scoops kwik karb with another scoop creatine post.

Im remeber reading that beta alanine + L-histidine spiked carnsine levels better than taking l-carnosine because the body would end up breaking down a lot the l-carnosine before it was used. Guess im going to have to go do some reading again and see what i can find.

If it's that small, I prolly chucked that lil' scoop in the trash as soon as I saw it, lol. I despise tiny scoops!

You don't have a scale? I think NP was selling scales for 10$, up to 200g with 1 sig fig (0.0g). The top loader I got was for 2.50$ on e-bay, best gram scale I ever owned for big measurements like food and w/o powders. The shipping cost more than the scale. (thanx Mowry)

Maybe on paper, but not in real life. In my experience, l-carnosine starts working from day 1, in a way that's undeniable.

If you use BA, I think it's smart to add the l-histidine though. Most say it's not necessary, but I think you're right that it should be included.

I'm doing 200mgs of ubiquinol with 4 caps of Cre02 on w/o days ( which is my favorite product ever ) and the effects are just fantastic.

Give Cre02 a whirl, I got a couple people I know hooked on it after them going threw the whole non-responder debacle.

I've always wondered about the Now carnosine but I'm not at all a believer in BA, I never got anything worth ranting and raving about and I noticed little lactic acid elimination * I hate that word buffering* I know then there's a whole discussion in regards to how important having lactic acid/lactate is for building muscle....which is why I think BA needs to be cycled, but what do I know.

Yeah, NP is all out of stock on scales or I would have had one here so long ago...ebay is rough on APO shipping, I'll check into amazon though :P

...I just realized I could have done some elementary math and figured it out on my own...Protein scoop = ~28G...and is roughly 102938 times larger lol...
 
I am starting my preworkout powders tonight. I bough creapure, ibcaa, beta-alanine, and vita berry from Primordial Performance. I'm mixing 5g creapure, 5g ibcaa, 4.8g beta-alanine, and 10g vitaberry in a water bottle. I'll drink it on my way to the gym.

Hope to be adding some testforce powder to my drink when I run out of TCF-1.

i think they usually recommend a tablespoon for 5 grams of creatine. but its all about density. some creatine is denser than others (creapure vs standard). not sure which is denser, tho but i find creapure is in a lot smaller particles in the container

The label says teaspoon, which doesn't make a ton of sense because a teaspoon is tiny, but maybe they are recommending like a 1g dose or something

I'll try to get my hands on a scale here sometime too...would be useful im sure lol

BA's effect comes from forming carnosine. If you are not taking a histidine supp with it then you are going to really limit its effectiveness. that is unless you are taking in a ton of protein. and even then i dont think many, if any complete proteins, provide much histidine at all. Also from what ive read carnosine with be broken down into histidine and BA before it enters the muscle but with be recombined in the muscle. Off the top of my head, I really dont think BA or histidine has any other uses in the body so i think BA witha 1:1 ratio of histidine would be equally effective as a carnosine supp

i dont think that has anything to do with histidine or BA's conversion to carnosine but i try and see if i can find anything about that. Ive never really read anything that talked about the tingles you get to be honest

This lifestyle can be a mess. One supplement increases your demand for another, then one day your taking special enzymes to digest it all. Doesn't histidine increase inflamation?

Yeah it can, because it increases certain cytokines like IFN-y and IL-18, but all the other interleukins it affects (IL-2,4,5,10,12) promote a strong anti-inflamitory effect, overall a moderate Th2 response. So taking low doses of it long-term might actually help with inflammation. If you get really sick (flu or cold) I'd stop taking it though, to avoid a potential 'cytokine storm' effect.

yeah i was also curious how much effect high protein diets have on zinc levels. Though im not currently supping histidine i do take extra zinc. Have you read studies that shows it having the same effect on humans as it does on rats? I might look for some later. I was just curious

only study i saw was rats-but the increased excretion rate was 35-40%. i can't see where adding extra zinc would be a bad thing!!!

Extra zinc is rarely a bad thing. ;) I take at least 50mg/day (but less than 100mg.)

yeah i take any extra 50mg tab later in the day usually after my workout. I hear too much can give you a headache but have yet to get one
 
Oh, for those of you with digestive trouble, I can say that digestive enzymes are a supplement that I have more fun with than creatine. I cant speak for any body comp effects yet, if ever, but it's just a confidence booster. There is no bigger **** block than talking to a pretty girl, while feeling like a pig, and having half your brain focused on your bowels.
