Hate Oatmeal? Try this

So, I've basically hated oatmeal forever. I've never been able to stand it. Not anymore! This is worth a try even if you already like oatmeal.

Cinnamon Vanilla Oatmeal

Cup of Oatmeal
Scoop of Vanilla whey (I'm sure a touch of vanilla extract works great also)
Cinnamon to taste
Add just enough water to make a thick consistency


Been having this for breakfast all week and love it. It's very easy and quick to boot. Feel to add some oatmeal flavors you've cooked up.
 
Oats with vanilla protien has been a fav of mine for a long time, never got round to adding cinnamon, will give it a try.
 
Try this...

Get some quick oats, and cover with just enough water to lightly drown the oats. Add splenda/cinnamon and mix it around. Nuke for about 3 minutes.

While that's happening, take a scoop or two of vanilla (personally I think it works best w/ dynatize banana) whey and 2 tbsp of sugar-free syrup. Mix until you have a thick pudding.

Take the oats out and put them on a plate. You can either toss it into the oven to make it crispy, or eat it like that. Put the syrup on top and you have yourself a nice dessert.

I ate that almost every morning for a year. Another good thing is to add is some natty PB its tasty. I used to also nuke some barries until they got mushy and put that in as well now and then.
 
well the only way i can get my oatmeal down is in a shake. I just trow 16oz of milk, 1.5 cup uncooked steel cut oatmeal, 2 scoops of chocolate whey, a spoon of PB in the blender. Gulp it down in the morning along with my multi and EFA's and i'm out the door. It tastes awsome. I've been trowing oatmeal in my Muscle Milk too to add some complex carbs to it. It actually gives it a nutty flavor. If i'm cutting i just do oatmeal with whey, cutting out the milk and PB.
 
I prefer the steel cut irish oatmeal to traditional, old fashioned oats. Theyre every bit as healthy. As far as flavoring goes, I like to add a tablespoon of honey to it just like 2fresh. Pair that with my 6 scrambled egg whites and theres my breakfast.
