The perfect FinisH to your intense workout, Golden FinisH has been formulated specifically for the serious athlete. Research and development indicates that this nutrient rich formula will aid recovery and help stabilize blood sugar levels to avoid the post-workout "crash". By shuttling nutrients, electrolytes, and amino acids into muscle cells we are able to stimulate muscle groups more often for optimal growth.

Golden Protein Complex:
With Hydrolyzed Whey and Whey Isolate providing immediate and sustained amino acid delivery, we enhanced this complex with additional Leucine (the anabolic trigger). With Dicalcium Phosphate from our GFH Complex, the result is a mild tasting, highly effective, optimal recovery product that is easy on the stomach, and doesn't break the bank.

Anabolic Enzyme System:
To take this recovery and growth formula to the next level, we included the clinically proven anabolic enzyme system Aminogen and Carbogen. The result is more efficient utilization of key nutrients during the key post-workout recovery window, helping to trigger anabolism legally and naturally.

CoriCARB and Inulin for Nutrient Shuttling and Enhanced Insulin Regulation:
Our unique and proprietary sugar-free blend of premium, nutrient rich carbohydrate sources enhanced with Inulin will help the serious athlete replenish muscle glycogen and help shuttle amino acids / nutrients into the muscles while blood flow is optimal without the post-workout "crash" associated with other products on the market.

GFH Complex:
For optimal post-workout cellular anabolism, look no further than our GFH Complex. We included crucial Electrolytes and Taurine to work in synergy, keeping your muscles in an anabolic state at the cellular level and for as long as possible. As a bonus, it appears that this complex may even help reduce muscle cramping and unnecessary soreness.

FinisH every workout with Golden FinisH.

HAIZ - About me

The name is Bryant. I've been completely dedicated to lifting for about 2 years. I'd say about 1.25 of that has been very smart lifting, with the first 1/4 kind of pointless (as in I had no clue what I was doing). Still however, I have made great strides in 2 years. I've used every CL product except for Golden Finish and Black Hole (NO NEED for this...for me) and have NEVER been disappointed. I will be looking for increased recovery + hopefully some strength gains out of GFH. I make gains without it, but hopefully the gains can speed up. Other than that, not much to say. I'm about 190 now and the plan is to bulk up to around 215-220 and see where that puts me. Ultimate goal is to compete in a bodybuilding show in about a year to a year and a half. We shall see!

All aboard!

Thanks for the support guys. July 4th will mark the first workout: Arms and Shoulders German Volume Style BABY!

3: 210X8 // 35'sX8

DB Shoulder Press - Tempo (3/0/X)

50X6
40X8
40X8

Good workout. The slow tempo absolutely rocked me, but it is a key to the program. Seems like I picked about the right weight. It wasn't easy, but I was able to keep the right tempo and form, all the while completing the prescribed sets/reps. Now....on the the good stuff:

Golden Finish - Initials Thoughts

Taste: I must say....I REALLY enjoy the taste. Very refreshing/smooth. Not quite sure what it tastes like quite yet, but I really thought it was good. PWO is generally the time I like fruity proteins (seems more refreshing to me), and this definitely did the trick. As a note, I mixed it with 30 or so ounces of water. I think I'll try more next time, as the taste was quite strong.

Mixibility Mixed easily and had a nice consistency. No complaints.

Other the that, not much else to say. Recovery will be judge throughout the log, but I can't really say much at the moment. Nonetheless, and good first day.

I noticed the GVT training Haiz and I've been looking for a new program for a while. I think I'm going to start on it too !

I highly suggest it and feel the Advanced version is a GREAT blend for size/strength. The original is fun as hell, but lead to mostly size gains.

I agree GVT put a good amount of size on me. I think I did an 8 week cycle and gained almost 8lbs while keeping bodyfat% the same

DAY 2 -Legs

Back Squats Alternating W/ - Lying Leg Curl (Tempo for Both: 4/0/X --- 90 Seconds B/T Exercises)

4: 175X5 // 200X5

6: 175X5 // 200X5
7: 175X5 // 200X5
8: 175X5 // 200X5
9: 175X5 // 200X5
10: 175X5 // 200X5

DB Lunges Alternating W/ - DB RDL's (Tempo for Both: 3/0/X --- 60 Seconds B/T Exercises)

1: 35X10 // 70'sX8
2: 35X10 // 75'sX8
3: 35X10 // 75'sX8

WOW - What a GREAT workout I had. I went light on the squats to ensure proper form and tempo and it definitely paid off in great stimulation of the muscles. Taking 4 seconds to descend on those puppies was taxing, but it felt GREAT. Finished off the squats and curls with slow lunges and RDL's (my favorite hammie exercise). I threw in a couple sets for calves at the end, because they are a lagging bodypart for me.

Today I mixed the GFH with 40oz of water...once again, DELICIOUS and refreshing. Thats all you can ask for! Recovery from arms/shoulders was absolutely perfect. I was definitely expecting some soreness, but I had none. Hopefully the same is true with legs! Other than that, not much else to note at this point. Can't wait for Chest/Back on monday night!

DAY 4 - Chest/Back

Incline DB Alternating W/ - Chinups (Tempo for Both: 4/0/X --- 90 Seconds B/T Exercises)

7: 70X5 // BWX5
8: 70X5 // BWX5
9: 70X5 // BWX5
10: 70X5 // BWX5

Flat DB Press Hands Facing Each Other W/ - Seated Close-Grip Row (Tempo for Both: 3/0/X --- 60 Seconds B/T Exercises)

1: 60X10 // 150X8
2: 60X8 // 150X8
3: 55X9 // 150X8

Today was BY FAR the best chest/back workout I have had in a LONG time. The 70's felt easy, which made me focus even more on the slow tempo...what a burn! Chinups were great as well and I really torched my lats - The slow descent on these things absolutely rocked me though. Endurance was great, with no drop throughout the set in the presses and only a slight drop in the chinups (biceps fatigued). Strength was great, pumps were great. :afro::afro::afro:

GFH really seems to be doing the trick so far as recovery is concerned. I felt absolutely fresh and fully ready to go for the workout. GFH still continues to taste great and really refresh me after a workout. Can't ask for more than that!

You and Volcom doing the same chest/back supersets today. Sweet work out, bro ! I can imagine one helluva pump . ..

Man the basic GVT had me doing 10 x10 Chinups supersetted with 10x10 decline DB Bench. Had to get on the chin-up assist cuz it was so exhausting after just a few lol.

Like norwegian hinted, I got so pumped up my lats made me walk gorilla-style for a while lol.

Thanks guys. The workout is certainly intense. I've got some arms/shoulders in a bit...time to ROCK.

RECAP

Well, the arms workout was GREAT. Threw in a bit of shoulder stuff at the end too, but nothing major. Leg day however was TERRIBLE. Couldn't get the squat rack, gym was closing early...shitty night for sure. Just made due with the time I had and made sure to get some stuff in. What I did was okay, but definitely not a great moment.

I will say that GFH has been working wonderfully so far strength gains will be assessed starting with the next arms/shoulders workout, as that will be the first time I repeat the same exercises. Can't wait to be honest!

So far weight is definitely moving up. GFH seems to give me a nice "full" feeling (muscle-wise) Post-Workout. Definitely something I could get used to. Other than that, not much else to note. Workouts have been good, and hopefully they will continue to get better. Work has been kicking my ass (Food and Nutrition Service...I.E. "Mypyramid"). I've been pulling 12 hour days, getting home, lifting, then going to sleep. Hopefully I can get on a good schedule, as to rest/recovery. All I know is that at the moment, GFH is really helping me recovery, because I have not had enough sleep for the past couple weeks.

Man the basic GVT had me doing 10 x10 Chinups supersetted with 10x10 decline DB Bench. Had to get on the chin-up assist cuz it was so exhausting after just a few lol.

Ohhh yes, gotta love it when you walk the gorilla-walk and not even trying to !! :afro:

10: 165X5 // BWX5

Hammer ISO Press W/ - BB Smith Rows (Tempo for Both: 3/0/X --- 60 Seconds B/T Exercises)

1: 110X10 // 185X8
2: 110X10 // 185X8
3: 110X10 // 185X8

Back at it today with a KILLER Chest/Back workout. This baby was brutal, but FUN. Bench Strength was good, especially considering I hadn't BB benched in a long time. Pullups felt great as well, although they have always been more difficult than chins for me. Still got a great slow tempo on both to really torch my chest/back.

Tomorrow marks the first return to the same exercises...time to CRUSH some weight baby!

DAY 11 - Arms/Shoulders

Flat Close Grip Bench Alternating w/ EZ Bar Curls - Close Grip (90 Seconds between exercises. Tempo: 4/0/X)

185X4 // 85X4

Flat DB Skullcrushers Alternating W/ Hammer Curls (60 Seconds between exercises. Tempo: 3/0/X)

25'sX8 // 35'sX10
25'sX8 // 35'sX10
25'sX8 // 35'sX10

Added in should DB Shoulder Presses for shoulders just to give them a little direct work.

Well, Can't say I didn't enjoy this one. Close Grips got hard after the 5th set, but I managed to rock and roll and pump all of them out. The Curls were insanely easy. Definitely could have upped the weight, but I focused on a VERY slow descent, which proved to be brutal. Next time I do these exercises, I will take the EZ curl number and add a little, as my strength seems to be quite high there. Finishing off with Skulls/Hammers was insane. The pump I had was beyond great and the veins were out in full force.

As far as Golden Finish goes, I couldn't ask for anything more at the moment. The drink is refreshing, tastes great, fills out my muscles, and has been really helping recovery. In addition, the strength gains over the past week or two have been great and Size definitely seems to be coming on. Couldn't be happier at the moment!

DAY 12 - Legs

Back Squats Alternating W/ Seated Leg Curls (90 Seconds between exercises. Tempo: 4/0/X)

40X10 // 80X8
40X10 // 80X8
40X10 // 80X6

Another GREAT workout. The calculator said to go to 187 for squats, but I put in up to 190 instead to push myself...turns out, I could have done more. Squats felt LIGHT baby! Even with the 4 second desecent, I felt like I could keep busting them out. Probably my best squatting in terms of depth/form/tempo in a long long time. Couldn't be happier. As for the leg curls, they felt great. I moved back to my dad's in bethesda after having finished some work down at georgtown, so I didn't have the same leg curl machine. I had to guesstimate it, but the 150 felt good for 4 reps...not easy by any means, but I was able to complete them all with great form/tempo.

Really can't say enough about Golden Finish. I feel like I repeat myself, but recovery on this stuff is great...Hell YEAH!

110X8 // 150X8
110X8 // 160X8
110X8 // 160X8

Whew...that was fun. Once again, my presses shot up. I had to keep slowing the temp down to make it hard enough! Without the slow tempo, I probably could have pumped out 12-15 of these, as even with the slow tempo, I could have hit 8 or 9 at failure. They felt GREAT though, and I had an incredible pump in the chest. The could also just feel the muscle getting broken down/rocked on the slow descent...ouch (in a good way). Chinups were HARD. I got them all. Maybe a little cheating on the last couple and the tempo could have been a bit better on some of the later sets. The hard thing about doing the weight for these is that I continually am adding Bodyweight, so it makes adding weight guess. Still though, they felt good. Finished off with crossovers from the low pulley, as I'm really trying to hit some inner chest (have the handle close together). Rows felt great as well and really torched my back. Overall...incredible workout.

Rocovery is top notch. It is friday morning (trained last night) and I feel very good today. GFH has really been helping me still make gains even with my crazy days, which tend to go:

5AM: Wake, Shower, Eat, Dress
6-8AM: Catch Bus to Metro, Metro for a while, Another Bus to Work.
8AM-5PM: Work. Actually good though (USDA Food and nutrition...think mypyramid. Public affairs and Center for nutrition policy and promotion).
5-7: Travel Home (Generally walk back from metro, which is 1.5 miles or so.)
7-8: Eat/browse forums
8-9: Train
9-11: Eat/Shower/Cook for next day's meals.
11-12: Sportscenter/browse forums
12: Bed

I've been running on 5 hours a sleep a night, which is not how I ever like to do things. However, my point in laying this out is that GFH has really been helping me recovery, even given only 5 hours (usually less) or quality sleep, and an absolutely busy schedule. I can't say enough about the stuff.

Also, PWO its really fills me out and since I train late, the fact it doesn't have a TON of carbs is nice. Now, I'm rambling, but this is quality stuff guys!

Wow GFH has yet to disappoint :) I can't say i'm surprised though as I experience this myself! Greattt workouts and feedback brother.

Single Arm Reverse Grip Tricep Pushdown Alternating W/ Cable Curl (60 Seconds Between Exercises - Tempo: 3/0/X)

35X10 // 140X10
35X10 // 140X10
35X10 // 140X10

Another good workout. Overhead DB extension felt great. I feel like it is very important for me to get the DB back as far as possible (away from head), to give my tri's the best stretch, all the while giving me the most power/strength on the movement. Focused on that and it made a big difference. DB Curls felt good as well. I was supposed to use 42.5 pounds, but I don't have dumbells that weigh that...(granted another WSC around here does), so I just made the jump to 45's. Definitely good form for the first 6-7 sets, then my tempo began to suffer. Next week I'll go with 45's again, but go VERY slow.

Recovery is still top notch at the moment. This week will be a true test of GFH. I have to squeeze in three workouts in a row, as I will not be able to lift friday, as I'm traveling to houston for the weekend. That means heavy chest/back, then legs if I can recover, then arms/shoulders. Should be fun!

Also added in some military presses for shoulders that felt great. Just a nice little addition to round out arm work.

Pretty good workout here. Never really done front squats in a smith machine, but the slow tempo on freeweights is really hard for me for one reason or another. They felt pretty good. Leg press felt better though, so I'll probably go back to that for next week. RDL's felt strong w/ a great stretch at the bottom of the movement. Solid stuff.

Nice workout. Looking forward to reading your consecutive workouts in a row and how GFH helps you recover. Rock n roll! :head:

Just got back from an incredible weekend in Houston. I finished the GFH and a review will be posted shortly. Definitely good stuff!

TASTE: 10/10- I do not, and will never understand how someone could complain about the taste of Golden Finish. In anywhere from 20-40 ounces of water, this is one of the most refreshing and best tasting proteins there is. I usually mix it with 20 ounces, shake it, drink 10, then add 20 or so more. The best way I can describe the flavor is...FRUITY PEPPLES. Seriously, that good.

TEXTURE: 10/10-If you mix it up properly, the texture is perfect. Not too thick, not too smooth. Great.

Mixability:7/10- In a regular shaker, there is no way I could get this to mix up all the way, and I was always left with clumps throughout. With a blender bottle it took some time, but I could get most of it out.

Value:8/10-Its a bit pricey, but the ingredients and taste make it worth it. I generally make my own, but if I have extra cash I'll get a PWO blend like GFH.

NUTRITION: 7.5/10- Nice blend of ingredients. I like how they kept the carbs down, but it loses points for not explaining what the carbs are.

OVERALL:9/10- Considering results in recovery/strength, I have to give this stuff a great score. The only negatives in my mind are price/the fact that I have no idea what the carbs are. However, the stuff plain works, and I will be using it again for sure. Pics to come.

i see the price is a little high but sometimes you got to pay a little more to get more. if it works, its worth the dough!
