Hey guys, had symptoms of low testosterone so i went to the doctors. (Low sex drive, weak erections, lethargy)
It is measured in nmol/l and the range is 10-30 which includes men of all ages.
I went last year and came back with a value of 14, im 22 years old and according to many studies the mean for my age is 24 and i am in the lowest 5%. Considering i go to the gym lift weights, dont drink a lot and eat well that sucks compared to how lazy and poor diet everyone my age has.
I have been retested a year later, its now at 10.8 :/, the doctor said it was fine its within the range and i told her to find the study so she did on google. She said not to worry, i pushed for a referal to a hormone specialist and she said 'i dont see what good that can do but i will'.
What the **** is with gp's? And do you guys agree with me?
