Do you know that there are clearing houses for "information"? 5 of them for the entire planet? That's information control right there, and BIG TIME. As far as 911 goes? Until I get to the level of information needed to know without a doubt. I'll go with the one that doesn't involve making up an airplane over a US plane or missile. that isn't to say this couldn't of been planned out by our gov't but i've been trained and worked around enough explosives and such that I find it hard to believe it was a missile that went through that building.

The question is what fields their phd are actually in. I can get you a dozen of phd's and professors any day, if you need to. A sure sign of the conspiracy insanity hitting the ceiling is when they twist the most damning evidence into another conspiracy itself. But then again, that is the nature of conspiracy theory. Everything IS a conspiracy. Anything that refutes your conspiracy theory, IS itself another conspiracy to refute your conspiracy theory. Therefore, the conspiracy theorists are always right, for the simple irrefutable truth that anything that debunks a conspiracy IS in itself another conspiracy.

AP UP WP Bloomberg and Reuters - I think. I don't keep them memorized just for just in case I need to appear smart. Know that "information" is very controlled - at least what goes on in the mainstream media, which creates an extreme uniformity in all the mainstream media and a fairly large gap between the mainstream stuff and the "information" that isn't.
Note that I use quotes around "information" in *BOTH* cases, as there is actual misinformation, disinformation, noise and crap as well as information both in the mainstream and in the non-mainstream media.
That gap between these two "information worlds" solidifies the view of most people that views other than what is reported in the mainstream is of crazy people with tin foil hats. Heck, even Ph.D's are worthless if they don't stick to the mainstream, controlled, programmed view of things. In your words.

I don't outside of mainstream is the reason as much as outside of logic or common sense, in a lot of cases.
Don't get me wrong. Some theories seem pretty believable on the surface and even some seem solid inside and out but there are a lot of them that are just sugar coated nonsense.

I second guess any media driven information. I've seen too many stories given attention grabbing titles to have a completely different sub story or personal bias used to selectively chose words to lean the so called 'news article' to their beliefs or political platoform.
Lazy people accept what is given as face value. That goes for both the mainstream audience and the conspiracy audience. Both are filled with gullible, ignorant, sheep

Im not making this up. Alex Jones, the propaghandist who makes most of these "documentaries" is a nutjob liberal. He has made countless anti republican/anti conservative films. This guy is even more pathetic than Michael Moore, because his theories are flat out dangerous. Its one thing to spread political lies, its another to accuse your own country of killing 3000 of its own citizens with NO conclusive evidence. All of his "evidence" is easily countered. Fact is some pathetic people want to believe Bush is behind 911. Their political feelings are that strong.
I have seen ubiased documentaries on cable, surely made with people who hate Bush's politics. Countless witnesses, scientists, politicians have explained every moment of that tragic day. These theories dont hold up to any objective scrutiny.

Fine you got me, I'll jump in:lol: - while the steel temp thing may be true, each support beam was not heated evenly, at the same heat, for the same amount of time in order to cause a perfectly vertical collapse at free fall speed. It doesn't prove or disprove anything. And not knowing how long the infrastructure was exposed to what temperatures make it impossible to prove either way, so it's all speculation. At least that's the way I see it. Actually after too many debates like this, I now just stick to things that we know to be true, such as the governments prior knowledge of the attacks, failure of our air defenses, where the funding came from, the governments documented willingness to stage such attacks and sacrifice U.S. civilians for political motives (Operation Northwoods- cough cough) and stuff like that. There is enough incriminating evidence on the governments part that shows they had prior knowledge of the attacks and did nothing, or at the very best, failed miserabley in their duties. Crap, I thought I could resist the dangling carrot on the string.

C'mon. You have just swapped the jet fuel expert hat for a structural engineer hat. You may not know the specific about time and temp exposure of the beams, but other experts do. And changes in sealing the beams with better insulation have already been incorporated in new constructions since then.
You just can't admit that you have been wrong on your pet theory about jet fuel burning temp vs steel melting point temp, can you?

It 's not MY pet theory, but noone could possibly know exactly how the jet fuel was distributed inside the structure after impact. They would have to have been inside, seen it,and lived thru it. That's why I say it's speculation on either side.If you can give me the name of the expert you mention with that qualification, then I will give you.......
