Great natty product for growth/strength?

Thanks for sharing brother, that DL workout sounds like a real test (lower back taking the longest time to recover). Typically when I train back hard and heavy I'm sore for a minimum of 72 hours post workout, DOMS peaking at the 48 hour mark. I get zilch DOMS though when using X2, and when you're 46 and doing this for 30+ years... feels like a minor miracle.

Anyway, look forward to your next update.

Did Arms and Shoulders yesterday. One of my first posts mentioned some DOMs in the Biceps after the last Arm day (8-12 Rep Range). Today I have no DOMs, but this week is the 4-7 Rep Range. So there is a variable. I'm nearing the bottom of the first bottle of X2. Next week is back to the 8-12 RR, so we'll see if it holds. If it does, it just took a while to build up in my system it seems. Tomorrow is heavy Triples on High Bar, Beltless, ATG, Back Squats.

For strength, i think nothing is better than Prime. Yeah it was a hit or miss product but man did my body love it! ArA and anabeta is a good stack for many fitness goals.

When I first read your comment without clicking on the thread I was thinking no way R1 goes without mentioning his beloved AB! :)

Reassured after opening.

Very nice.

Last week I had a special forces guy on SuperHumanRadio.com with me, talking about his experience with X2. He documented his use over a grueling 5 day period of timed climbs, descents etc. He's done this before and knows how beat up just 1 of these leaves him. Reports nothing, no DOMS, super fast recovery and get this - his times got better over the 5 day period. He documented everything too. Heart rate, times, distance, elevation etc..

And he's in his mid-forties!

I'm already an MPS believer, so I can't wait what kind of torture test I can survive with the new one. It's a long ways to go for me unfortunately...I need to cut for December.

Understand man. We've been absolutely overwhelmed with exceptional feedback on X2, and how fast guys are bouncing back from brutal training sessions.

What did you notice from the original?

On the original, I used it when I was cutting and I was able to keep my frequency of Benching/Deadlifting/Squatting heavy 3x a week with considerable amount of volume and minimal DOMS.

You'll love X2 then. Even better on the DOMS end of things and it really excels in the workload capacity dept.. You need less of it too..

Finishing up the first bottle in the next day or two. While it took a while to work for me, I must admit that for a certain type of trainee, RCE does indeed make you feel pretty darn good the day after. I just did 3x5 at 80, 85, and 90% High Bar, Beltless, ATG Squats yesterday (and didn't complete the required reps at 90% - so total failure (but that's another story about wanting abs and strength at the same time...) and feel almost nothing this morning.

Now, I bolded the above because for me, and anyone like me that does a 4 day body-part split with 3 days of cardio in between - I'd be recovered the next time I hit the body-part anyway. We know (thanks to Shoenfeld) that this isn't optimal, but age and life sometimes get in the way. So until I change programs, I won't need anymore X2. But I am contemplating going to Full Body 3x/Week in the near future, so I may be back, who knows.

I'm pleasantly surprised that this stuff actually did what it says on the bottle (recovery).

BTW, I bought this myself, no freebies, in case anyone was wondering or I forgot to mention it.

It's pricey, but it delivers on it's claims.

I would say that this means a lot coming from this dude. He is one of the straightest shooters on the forum, imo.

Thanks for the comment. Early on when it came out (I just so happen to be listening to some 2012 Super Human Radio episodes, LOL) , there was a lot of talk about mRNA Transcription and Protein Synthesis yadda, yadda.... but thankfully those claims are no longer touted - as I would have a problem with that. But yup, it certainly does seem to make soreness never appear - can't lie. Now I'm not one of those "Holy cr@p I can't walk for a week after every leg session" guys, so hopefully one of those guys will try it too.

I am that kind of guy as far as leg days go, and as much as I enjoy SHR and think that Rob probably created a good product, I am not about to spend that much on it. I simply do not have the means to purchase MPS any time soon. Once I get some money from a good paying job sat aside, that will probably change, but right now it is refreshing to see an honest review on the stuff. I love listening to episodes of shr btw. BPH is my favorite.

I have about a day or two left on the 1st bottle, and then the whole second bottle. As of right now (typing this in my gym), I am going to switch to a 3x/week full body program, hitting each body-part 3 times a week - a different exercise each session. 3 other days will be cardio, and the final day will be off totally (which will be new for me - been doing *something* 7 days/week for a long time now). So we'll see if "no soreness" continues on the second bottle, and *then* when I run out.

Sounds good. I think anything that helps recovery should always be accompanied by a frequency increase in body parts.

I appreciate your straighforward review, really do.

Insofar as the no soreness/beat up feeling in the days after a workout, it's not unlike Dr. Scott Connelly's original Progenex product. I used that, was shocked by it and wanted more of it - but it wasn't to be. He became embroiled in a bitter lawsuit with his former business partners and the original was discontinued. I use Synthagen for acute, planned borderline over-training phases before cutting back and reaping the benefits of the super-compensation effect.

It'll work with virtually any training, but I rather like that slingshot approach. Suits the product well..
