Gotti gets sliced and diced with Lean Cuts

Wednesday: Chest/Tris

Chest: Flat Db press superset w/ hs press 3 sets
Flat DB fly superset w/ hs press 3 sets
Incline Db press 3 sets
Cable Flys 4 sets
Cable stretches 3 holds

Tris: Close Grip weighted Dips 3 sets
Rope extensions 3 sets
Underhand extension superset with db kickbacks 3 sets

Kind of a different workout, when i say presses I was doing a twist at the end of each rep until failure, then i was finishing off with normal presses. I went into the gym with pumps oin my mind and succeeded even though it may not be the best designed chest routine.

I did chest and tris since I missed on Monday and I still do HIIT cardio on chest day anyway.

Endurance was pretty good for what it was. I didn't have ever lasting energy in the gym but I was supersetting which I haven't done in awhile for chest work. It was hot again I haven't been sleeping the best since my new house doesn't have a/c yet and has been super muggy to sleep in. That could play a role.

Strength wasn't important today since I was supersetting so nothing special here.

Pumps were awesome, I was doing slower reps and squeezing was important. My chest felt like a rock by the middle of the workout which I was happy about.

Looks like I won't make it to the gym today, I forgot I have to go to a college graduation. This week has been rough so far for the gym. Hopefully I can get some extra activity this weekend to make up for it.

time off is a good thing but i still like to keep on my normal schedule....i just know i won't do legs on saturday so next week when i do squats i'm going to be extra sore

last night again I could easily notice my veins running through my chest again....not really poking out but very blue and noticeable haha....i think i need to get a tan to cover these bad boys up, i look like i scribbled on my body with blue magic marker

i also noticed during the graduation that I had to go to the bathroom like every 5 minutes...i'm noticeing this today as well....in the middle of the night last night i woke two times extremely thirsty....just something i'll keep everyone posted on this

haha i'm going to a gym thats almost as cheap....but it's more like a dungeon of a place, reminds me if you ever watched a branch warren training video....that look, they have the same exact pec dec that his does too

Saturday: Shoulders

Shoulders: Ez curl bar high row 4 sets
BB single arm press with pivot 5 sets, last set was double drop for each arm
Rear cable flys superset with face pulls 3 sets
DB side raises 3 sets
Incline DB side raises 2 sets
Seated DB side raises 1 set to failure

Strength: Maybe it was the two days off but it was really good. I did the extra set during the presses because the weight kept feeling good so I wanted to keep going. The side raises didn't go heavier than usual but the weight felt good in my hands which really helped concentrate on really squeezing at the top.

Pump: I got a really nice pump. I wish my shoulders looked how they did all the time. Nice and round with some nice detail. The veins in the front of my shoulders were pretty noticeable as well.

Today is Sunday and I noticed today my stomach seems flatter in that all important area. The lower abs, I still have work to do since thats the last thing to thin out but it must have improved a bit this week. Lets see what this week brings.

Monday: Chest/Tris

Chest: HS Chest press superset w/ Incline HS press 4 sets, did one extra set on regular chest press one arm at a time
DB Incline Flys 3 sets
Cable Flys, low setting 3 sets
Cable flys , high setting 4 sets
Fly machine 2 sets, last set was just for stretching

Tris: Skull Crushers 3 sets
Rope Extensions 3 sets
Undherhand extension 3 sets
Underhand, drop overhand, drop underhand, drop overhand 1 set

Monday holidays are usually busy at the gym. With the combinations of two gyms, it was crazy. I sort of knew it would be but I was hoping ppl just wouldn't go to the gym since they were only open until 12.

I just grabbed any equipment that was open since Monday is national chest day. But even the people not doing chest were all over the place. Not the ideal workout. But I still got in there and did what I could.

After the gym I went golfing, I have a tourney this Saturday so I wanted to get out there and play a bit. In combination with the gym I felt good with the level of activity I got.

Of course with the holidays I was also at a bunch of different cookouts this weekend so diet wasn't all that great. So I just went by calories and tried to stay close to normal calories and I think I did a decent job of that even though my macros were probably all over the place.

haha thanks, just trying to update daily.....i figured now that i've been in my new house for over a month now i'd be totally back on track with training, but failed to realize all the summer festivities like graduation that have thrown training off a bit

Live and lift. Don't choose one do both. I'm sure the time off didn't hurt. Giving those muscles a break is awesome in the long run. No worries.

this is exactly how i feel, i always said when i started working out i wouldn't let it effect my social life as long
as i stay more active than when i started

Tuesday: Back/Bi's

Back: BB Row 4 sets
Elevated Cable Row 3 sets
Wide Grip Lat Pulldown 3 sets
Straight Bar pullback 3 sets
Assisted Pullup 2 sets
Deadlift 3 sets

Bi: Ez Curl Bar close grip 3 sets
Ez curl bar wide grip 2 sets
Straight bar cable curl superset w/ drag curl 3 sets
Preacher Curls 24's 2 sets

Wasn't really going for strength but it wasn't all that bad. during the bb rows I really concentrated on the squeeze which felt really good. Even during the bicep work I went higher reps than usual and it at first felt odd because of the higher reps but by the end my biceps felt like a rock.

It may not seem like it but by the time i got to the pullup assist my lats felt like they were shot. I was just using the pull ups more to stretch out my lats and back but it really felt like I was totally finishing off any juice i had left in my back.

Pumps were really solid as well as I expected they would be. It's a lot easier to squeeze with the lighter weights so the pumps could be expected.

I should probably weigh myself tonight if I remember to see what that thing says as far as progress goes.

I've also increased my water consumption. I was alittle above a gallon already. But i've been pretty thirtsy lately so without making an effort i'm drinking a half a quart to a full quart of water more than usual.

I'm in the south so I've increased it aswell haha! Damn hot down here. More water may make you look drier :) many benefits

Wednesday: Cardio/Abs

Cardio was pretty intense. Started sweating within the first 5 minutes on the eliptical which I usually start low intensity to kind of get warmed up. During the HIIT section of the workout I was dripping sweat like I just showered. I couldn't see my back but the front of my shirt was sweat threw so i Imagine i had a nice triangle on my back.

I weighed 1lb heavier than I did 3 weeks ago. I have a few conclusions of why this is. 1. I think I have gained a bit of lean mass because I look leaner than I did when I started. I took tighter all around. 2. I'm not religious about weighting myself so it could have been whatever I ate or drank yesterday vs. whatever I had in me last time. Either way I'm sort of happy with keeping my weight steady while leaning out.

So after reading clipse's review I'm thinking:

adding another Lean Cut pill per day, i have to do the math with the 4ad and decavol and see if i could increase them too to get the cycle to all end right around the same time

figure i could but the results a bit further...we'll see, i'd probably dose 2 lean cuts in the morning and 1 preworkout if i do it like that

Thursday: Legs

Legs: Squats 4 sets
SL Deadlift 3 sets
Step Ups 4 sets
Seated Leg Curl 3 sets
Seated Calve Raises 4 sets
Superset both V machines 4 sets

I don't know what those movements are called, mostly for the thighs when you open and close your legs, I just call them the V machines. Get it?

Wasn't going for strength yesterday but more for the squeeze and controlled contraction. Worked out pretty good.

Pump, didn't really get any crazy pumps. However the mind/muscle contraction was good and my legs looked pump just didn't get have the pumped feeling. During the step ups my calves and lower legs were way more vascular. This morning my upper legs are starting to get sore a bit more early than usual. It's usually around lunch time when they start to get sore.

Start my new gym next week. I feel like after the last two weeks I need a heavy week. So I have to focus to do my heavy work before I start trying out all the new equipment.

Looks like you're kicking ass over here gotti. 2 caps + another pwo would be killer. I love how I have veins in my quads, lower abs and calves now =D

Saturday: Off/Golf

So I didn't go to the gym on Saturday but I stayed active. I was part of a local golf tournament. In 90 degree heat, def felt the heat and had to stay hydrated more than usual. Got a nice tan too.

Today I join the new gym. I also am increasing my dosage of Lean Cuts to 3 pills a day, I'm also increasing decavol to 4 tabs and 4ad to 3 tabs a day. I'm doing this because I'm going to run out of alphamine tomorrow and I just want to increase the benefits of the cycle.

I do have a planned vacation this weekend. So I'm going to change my workout this week because two weeks ago I missed legs, Sat I missed shoulders. So today I'm going to do shoulders, tomorrow will be legs, wednesday cardio and thursday chest/tris....I'll skip my back workout this week.

if my math is correct i'm going from 14days....to 9.3 days haha, so we'll go with 9, might have to do an extra tab or so on the last day

3 doses. You rebel :p

Glad to see you're loving it.

Monday: Shoulders

Shoulders: BB High Row 4 sets
HS Shoulder Press 4 sets then 1 set backwards
Reverse Pec Deck 4 sets
Side Lateral Raise 4 sets
Face Pulls 3 sets

First day in the new gym but I did stay true to what I said. I def forced myself to go heavy or as heavy as I could. I've never used a hammer strength shoulder press machine before. It was odd to get it started but I do like the machine especially since I can switch it up and sit both ways to hit the muscle a bit differently. Overall I was happy with strength.

Thermo, wasn't sure if it was the extra Lean Cut or what but I was sweating early in the work out. I do the high rows at the beginning on the workout so I don't go super heavy on them but I broke out in a solid sweat during hte second set. I cut grass last night and I was still sweating during that. When the sun went down it sucked because the sweat turned cold. haha

The new gym isn't anything special and some of the equipment is super old but for a Monday which was my old gym's most busy day I was or had free roam of anything I needed at the new gym. It was nice to be able to get in do what I had to do and get out. Plus shoulders aren't a super long training session since it's a small muscle group so I had some extra time to just take in the new layout of the place.

Oh today is my last day of Alphamine. I put a review up in the review section for anyone who is interested.

I was up another 1.5lbs last night, not sure how I feel about it. I dont' really use scale weight to measure progress, any added size is a plus as I'm not looking any less lean, actually just noticed this morning that I do feel harder in my chest and shoulder area.

Tuesday: Legs

Legs: Squats 3 sets
Padded squat machine front and reverse 3 sets each way
Leg press 4 sets
Vertical leg press 3 sets
Seated Calve raises 4 sets
Seated Leg Curl 3 sets

First, I have no idea what some of the proper names are for the equipment, this is one:

and the other:

So with that said it was a pretty good workout. I liked getting to use equipment I have never used before. My legs were supper pumped after the squat machine. I was doing one set forward then one set backwards for 3 set each way.

The gym has no squat racks, rather just cages. It will have some getting using to. The cages all have solid flooring which is good because the old gym had padded floor and I prefer squatting on the more solid floor with less give. The bad thing is I couldn't find a slot to put the racks that fit my height. One spot was too high and I had to tippy toe the bar and weight off, the other is too low. I did find another cage upstaris that I wasn't aware of so I'll try that one next week.

The veritcal machine was interesting to say the least, it's an old machine and a bit scary to be under the weight that way. But this could be a good finisher move. At the very least laying that way and pressing will use gravity to my advantage to really fill my upper legs with blood as a finishing move of the workout.

Overall I was pretty happy with the volume I was able to get done in my normal timeframe of training.

Awsome job so far, im down another .5 pounds...

Wednesday: Cardio

Since I didn't have any Alphamine. Southpaw was nice enough to send me some samples of Ritual. Its hard to comment on it thus far, my preworkout bottle cracked so I really had to dig deep to get the 1oz of liquid and powder down. Energy was pretty good for cardio, we'll see how it works for chest today.

Looked leaner again in the mirror last night, not a huge drop but leaner than last time I looked. Stomach is slightly tighter and lower back is def tighter than when I started.

Thursday: Chest/Tris

Chest: DB flat press 4 sets
DB Incline press 3 sets, last set was drop set
HS incline press 4 sets
Pec Deck 3 sets
Flat Cable fly 2 sets

Tris: Weighted dips 4 sets
Overhead extension 2 sets
Close Grip Bench 2 sets
Underhand extension 3 sets

So I'm going away for a long weekend get away tomorrow I figured I'd update tonight since the workout is fresh in my mind.

Strength was really good during the Db work on chest. I was pretty happy with the weights I was able to do. The dips were also pretty impressive and felt like I could have kept going but I wanted to see what else the gym had to offer.

Pump was also right up there, I did take the preworkout Ritual so that could have played a factor as well. My chest felt solid quickly and my tris felt rock hard during and right after the dips.

Some of the workout I only did 2 sets because I couldn't get comfortable on the equipment. So I didn't want to waste time and just moved on. The flat cable flys just felt awkward, almost like the cables were too far away from each other so even during the flys I felt like I was struggling to just do the movement. The close grips were weird because I feel like the barbells are shorter than what I'm used to along with the fact the benches are different. Almost took more energy to get the bar off the rack. I dunno, it's probably just me and I have to get used to things.

Overall I was pretty happy this week. I not only got to use different equipment than what I'm used to but I also didn't use my normal training routine so I'm hoping my body was confused a bit. Next week I'll be back to my normal routine. Also was happy to give my back a bit of a break. I was a bit sore in the lats after last week for awhile so maybe the extra rest on that body part will do some good. See you on Monday.

Back from vacation. It was a nice relaxing trip. However I woke up yesterday and my wrist is in pain, I'm guessing it was from sleeping on it weird but hopefully I'm able to press with it today. Other than that I feel well rested and the rest of my body feels good.

Monday: Chest/Tris

Chest: DB Incline Press 4 sets
DB Flat Press 4 sets
HS Incline Press superset w/ DB Incline fly 3 sets
Peck Deck 4 sets
Flat fly holds (stretch) 2 times

Tris: Pushdown machine 4 sets
Overhead rope extension 3 sets
V bar extension superset w/ one handed underhand extension 3 sets

Strength, even though my wrist hurt all day. I used my wrist wraps and I was happy with my strength numbers yesterday. It didn't seem to bother me while doing chest exercises. After listening to muscle college radio, I was doing relatively controled sets and then going until absolute failure on the last sets of the DB presses. I wanted to do dips for triceps but i was worried about the wrist, during the pushdown i did experience a bit of uncomfort but not too bad, strength was still good.

Pump was excellent, the muscle/mind connection was really good and I had a rock hard pump in the chest pretty quickly. It took a bit longer in the triceps but they came on strong towards the end.

Thermo, wow by the end of the workout it felt like I had jumped in a pool with my clothes on. I was soaked, it felt kind of disgusting but good at the same time. I noticed an increase in temp during my second set, but during cardio is when I really started to notice my t shirt felt like it was soaked.

Tuesday: Back/Bis

Back: BB Row 4 sets, last set was drop set
T Bar Row 3 sets
HS Iso low row 6 sets (used two different positions or methods for 3 sets each because I never used this machine before)
Lat Pull Down 4 sets
Deadlift 3 sets

Bi: DB Alt Curl 4 sets
Straight Bar cable Curl 2 sets
Preacher machine curl 3 sets

First I want to say I felt really good in the gym yesterday. I was just in an overall good mood and had a nice sense of well being. Didn't have the killer attitude, more like enjoying the workout to the fullest.

Strength was a bit low but only by a rep here or there but overall I was pushing myself pretty hard so I wasn't too concerned with the strength. Some of the exercises were also new machines so I can't really guage those exercises. The low row I went as heavy as I could and the lat machine looks like a normal machine but it's old and it's actually plate loaded rather than the stack of plates.

Pump wasn't all that impressive and took a bit to kick in. It could have been better or at least I would like to have seen it been more pronounced.

Thermo effect was again very strong. I was sweating buckets once again. Even made the mistake to wipe my face with my wrist wraps. Damn I need to wash those things. My shirt when I left again felt like I had jumped in a pool and was sticking to me like a fly on fly paper.

I ran out of Decavol yesterday. Today is my last day on Lean Cuts and 4 ad which sucks because I've seen impressive leaning these last two weeks.

PCT:
Sns Bulbine
Forma Stanzol
Powerchews DAA + LCLT

I've used bulbine and daa together before and it worked well for leaning and adding strength. It was a bulbine product but either way the combo was my favorite test booster stack I've ever ran. I figured with the AI properties of Forma it should dry me out nicely along with adding or keeping strength and of course recoverying my body.

very nice gotti, i find it much better to enjoy a workout rather than be pissed the entire time as well.

Wednesday: Cardio

Cardio flew by, it felt like it was over before I knew it. I do 30 minutes on my cardio day with HIIT thrown in like this:

at 4 minutes 40 second to 5 minutes HIIT
at 9 minutes 40 second to 10 minutes HIIT
then 14 minutes 40 second to 15 and every 40 seconds until 20 minutes
i then two more HIIT at 24 minutes 40 seconds and right at the end at 29 minutes 40 seconds to finish off the cardio

anyway at 20 minutes and after my 6 stints of the full intensity I felt good and fresh when i usually feel like death

yesterday was my final day on Lean Cuts and 4 ad, this morning started the PCT, I'll try and get a review up today or tomorrow even though i was on a few products the review may be difficult but I'll do what I can do

Final Review: Won't let me edit on first page

So this is going to be an odd review because I took a bunch of different things throughout this journey.

Alphamine: Invalid Link Removed

ANS Ritual: Invalid Link Removed

Now onto the fun stuff:

AMS Anabolic Kit: Again it's hard to tell where the results came from. So I'll comment on what I can. These products were a pleasant surprise. I've only used one tab that dissolved under the toungue before and these tasted better and dissolved quicker. It was maybe 5 minutes for the tab to be completely gone. They also tasted good, like a light breathmint. Not as strong as lets say an altoid or anything but noticeable mint taste none the less. The only thing I would say is from other experiences with test bases. I'm not totally sold on the 4 AD, I didn't get the lbiido at the beginning or increased type energy levels the way I did with Forerunners 4dhea product or Transaderm. I didn't dose it super high though so that could have been the reason. Overall the product is simple to use and tastes good so I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a little extra something to stack with their cycle.

Lean Cuts: So I was intrigued to try this product since I've never tried any of the previous products that were like it. I can say the once a day dosing could make it easy for anyone who doesn't like having pills on them all day or who are worried about missing doses. I really enjoyed being able to pop the 2 pills in the morning and going on with my day. I did notice a slight thermo effect upon dosing the product. As the day went on it either diminished or I got used to the feeling. I did notice when I upp'd the dose to 3 pills and took 1 pill in the afternoon that during the workout I was sweating a lot more than usual. I wish I had went to three pills sooner, I really started seeing accelerated results. I waited until the Alphamine ended to the up the caps but I should have shortened the cycle more in order to up the dose sooner. 3 bottles would have been the most ideal way to do.

Overall: I had good results with the products as a whole. I think they stacked well and would be a good addition to stack with just about anything out there. Again if I could do it again I would have taken 3 pills for a longer period of time. Should have saved the money I spent on the Alphamine and put it towards a 3rd bottle of Lean Cuts. But I think this is a great stack for anyone trying to lose fat at really anytime throughout their cut. This is right in the middle of my cut but I kind of wish I had started it sooner to get a good jump on the cut and have more time at the end to trim up any loose ends.

Results: At the end of this whole thing I'm down 1lb which isn't anything crazy but I went on vacation last weekend and in all the pictures of my girlfriend and I, I look thicker across my chest. May not sound like much but in pictures I never look super thick in that area but it's very noticeable and solid looking in the pictures. My biceps for some odd reasons also like they have grown a bit as well. My shoulders on the other hand have been 50/50, I look at them sometimes and think "Why won't they grow wider" and other times they look round and with the cuts seperating the shoulder and arm make them nicer. Now the important part, my stomach looks flater across the top, I have some work to do the get the bottom of the abs to catch up since they look like they are holding fat. What else is new, everyone knows the lower abs are usually super stubborn.

Note: My diet for the most part was clean. However I had a vacation, holiday, and a few get togethers that weren't the best on the diet. Probably could have had better results with a fully clean diet. I also had a few weeks of 4 training days instead of my normal 5 days. So take that for what it's worth.

Sides: I didn't really notice any sides besides well being but thats positive. The one side I did notice a few times was if I was alone I'd get a bit of depresion, it never really lasted long periods of time but it is note worthy. Other than that I have had no bad or negative side affects.

Great stuff Gotti, down a 1lbs but looking good, sounds like a recomp to me.

yeah it worked well for that, i was eating under maintence for six days out of the week so it was nice to not see my scale weight fall....for a few weeks i was actually up some lbs

i'm not super sold on scale weight as a measurement though and i was weighing myself on different days that i may have had different types of foods in me or water...whatever it may be could sway the scales a bit but people like to see the numbers so i had to post it up

Damn! Awesome review buddy. Thanks. Looking forward to my Lean Cuts run. Doing 2 caps for two weeks only than 3 :-)
