GH tv show

"30 Days" on FX next Wednesday night (6/22).

It's from the same guy that made "Supersize Me". He now has his own show where he does something for 30 days and then makes a 1 hr show about it. Tonight's show was about him and his fiance trying to live on minimum wage for 30 days(it was very good). On upcoming episodes he's going to be a college drunk for a month, a muslim for a month, etc.

Next week's episode, according to the preview, is about him lifting and using GH for a month. I don't know if it's gonna be a great show or not, but I figured you guys would be interested.

Yeah i saw the previews after the first show and its "and average couch potato." The guy looked like your average desk worker with a nice gut who drinks beer.

"Anti-Aging" (June 22): Scott Bridges, age 35, uses Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and testosterone injections, nutritional supplements and workouts, in an effort to counter the effects of aging.
"Everybody wants to live forever, everyone wants the fountain of youth, but the question is, what price are we willing to pay for that?" Spurlock said.

for 30 days? guess he's not front-loading. too bad he can't/won't use IGF instead of HGH, 30 days of IGF would actually do something.

Yeah, this just goes to show you how ignorant most people still are to our lifestyle. These guys are actually doing a documentary on it, and yet they still can't do their research and get it right to know wtf they're doing. So how can we expect these dumbass politicians to even pick up a single peice of literature when they;re on their banning bandwagon.

So then the outcome of this will be skewed, probably not work and then the media/public will be even more ignorant because they think what they're watching is how you do things....my god, this guy is just a contributer to the problem....

Im sure he will mention something along the lines of how long HGH therapy is usually run for, but even wit ha test product, 30 days isnt that long, especially if they use a test cyp. I could see if they threw d-bol in there, then im sure we'd see some changes.

You guys have to remember what makes for good TV. Would they put a show about how someone took something and got no results... would be boring...

Thats the whole premise(sp.?) of the show though. He does something for 30 days to see if something, whatever it is can be accomplished in that amount of time. The first one was a great show. Him and his wife were in it though, and he is great in the show, just like he was in Super Size Me. The thing is though the rest of the shows aren't gonna have him in it. So the rest of the shows might suck.

Thanks for the link. It appears that this show may actually be good. I hope that he is objective and have views from both sides of the issue. Imagine the GH guy being serious about his weight training, incoporate sensible diet and is injecting GH under doctor's supervision then his results may actually help GH usage explode in sales.

The "Binge Drinking Mom" and "Off the Grid" look very good. As someone mentioned above, it'll depend on the people that do it and how far they're willing to go w/ it. After seeing the first show, I was under the impression that Spurlock was going to do every one, which would be better.

I can almost gaurantee that there will be things in the next episode that will anger informed and educated GH users. That seems to happen with all shows like this, they don't get the full accurate story because that's less entertaining for the casual viewer and they don't have the time.

Hopefully though, they do things correctly and show a positive side. If you look at the other topics, you'll notice that most, if not all of them try to put you in someone else's shoes (he talked about this in the first episode, btw).

They showed minimum wage workers in a positive light and I'm sure they'll do the same w/ the gay & muslim episodes, probably all of them. So there's a good chance that it will be a decent show.

I dont think politicians are going to be too happy with the outcome of this show. I saw a tiny clip during the preview for it in which the guys girlfriend goes "wow the fat is really coming off!" This is gonna show that the stuff works... BUT it also states "Everybody wants to live forever, everyone wants the fountain of youth, but the question is, what price are we willing to pay for that?" That leads me yto believe that they will be doing blood tests etc and after the 30 days he will get another one showing his lipids and test levels and everything else all out of whack, which i think parents will use to their advantage ("see what that **** does to you?" blah blah) Im really looking foreward to how this show is going to turn out, but im assuming that if everything goes greatly and this guy has no negatives but all positives about steroids, then the networks wouldnt air it.

I read somewhere that he uses test and HGH to "become stronger and faster than he was in High School." I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Spurlock is good. He will present this topic in an honest objective manner.

Spurlock wants answers to questions. He's not in this stand on a soapbox. He really wants to answer the question, "Is there a fountain of youth and is GH and test it?"

SuperSizeME was one of the greatest films of all time. Anyone who hasn't seen it should definitely. Awesome presentation of the obesity crisis.

Just read over at BB.com that Bob Chick will be training the guy that's on HGH. Definitely looking forward to viewing this! :)

Turns out I'm going on a road trip and won't even be home to watch the show.

Hopefully they'll show it again on Sunday night like they did last week.

You can still bump this thread for me ;)

GH for 30 days is not going to be doing much... 6 months is considered to be a good short cycle
That's the first thing I thought too. He should have done IGF for 30 days.

I am actually working with the guy who does the animation for that show. On the GH episode tomorrow, I did the 20 sec cut out bit about the three rules with the guy getting shot up by needles.

don't know bout the show, we only get a few voice tracks, but I can vouch for the animation.

Spurlock vs. Mosey

It looks like some lady named Mosey has
done the Mickey D's diet thing and has actually
lost weight buy chosing her meals carefully and
using moderate exercise!

Imagine that losing weight by counting your calories
and exercise.

Im not sure what her motivation was to do the film.
Was it too descredit Spurlock or to make the public
more aware that good health and diet comes from
making the right food choices and exercise. Hmmm.

At any rate here is a link that compares the two diets
gives more info..

I was going to do the Mc D diet and lose weight. I was looking at getting a scollarship for it but when i emailed them they said that they had already proven that you can lose weight on Mc. D's :/

The wife is a bitch. I hate that they bring the whole "family/lifestyle" into it. This dude needs to shut up and train.

haha, no ****. Why doesn't she work out too? Instead of just standing there bitching. She sure could use it.

i second that statment. i only caught the last half and it turned into such an anti steriod program is was angering.

that wife wouldn't shut up though, god she made me angry.

That had to be the worst show I have seen in a long while. That wife needs to shut the **** up and that dude needs to grow some balls. This show was a classic example of showing everything negative and nothing positive. It was just awful.

Huge dissapointment. Morgan should have done it himself, instead of some fat **** with a fat **** wife looking over his shoulder bitching at him the entire time.

I had a feeling it was going to wind up like that. Damn shame.

The funny thing about it is that the anti-aging Dr. ends up looking like a total crock.

How in the world could you even think about marrying such a bitch?

He should have gone off with that cardio trainer girl. Now that would have made for some good TV.

All the bad things that they harped on aren't all that uncommon. Hell, he had high blood pressure even before all that stuff started.

Grrr, that show made me so pissed off.

My wife even called her "bitchy". She really needed to shut the **** up. Is it me, or did that seem kind of anti steroid?

I figured it would be nice and unbiased, but I was wrong. I had my gf watch it since I let her in on me wanting to run a cycle. Girlfriend of nearly 2 years, boy that was a mistake. Now she's super worried no matter how off I told her the show is. :\

His problem wasnt sperm it was balls. Im surprised he can even get
it up being married to her.

Can you imagine what this guys gonna look like at 60?? And if he stays
with that woman hes gonna need alot more than HGH - hes gonna need
alot of VIAGRA!!

I am so lucky that I have the wife I do, and I appreciate my woman.

Perfect example coming from someone who is actually doing the anti-aging therapy. Why didn't they pick you for the show. :)

I have no sperm! Oh my god my liver values or off!!!

fukking duh!! Did the doctor not explain this to him?

That dolt for a doctor did not tell him this?!

I have lost total respect for Spurlock. That cut and paste
piece of dog poo of a show he is promoting is a complete
sell out. It was designed to play on fear and therefore increase
their audience.

It was funny to see Chicarello sporting his bodybuilding.com shirt.

I love how Bob Chicerillo knew exactly what the liver problem was from as soon as he heard the amount of supplements he was taking. I felt it sorta gave bodybuilders more credibility when the 2 doctors later said the same thing as Bob.

Huge Pussy, Huge bitch and ridiculous representation. How come Bob Chic didn't have all those problems? He's obviously been using way more than that jerk off.

That show made me kiss my fiance, thank God I have her!

I lost a bit of respect for Spurlock after this one. I loved the throw away "his liver values and sperm count returned to normal" blurb at the end...way to present both sides.

As good as Bob was on the show, it was definitely slanted anti-supplement or steroid.

The wife! She was saying that the husband had no time for this fancy exercise stuff, yet she seemed to have infinite time to bust his balls about it. Even at the end, the wife had the husband pull her around instead of walking.
The "rage" part seemed too pre-manufactured.

Haha... same here, luckily she passed out the last 15 mins. She was already pissed about the cost but now...

I haven't seen Super Size me, but what a bunch of crap this show was. And what was the plug about the high school baseball player killing himself? I feel for the family but ... n/m.. time for bed. Show is crap and I probably won't watch any more episodes.

Yeah, the rage part was complete bullshit. If my wife was a raving bitch who was just harassing the hell out of me about time and then I got locked into a pool and was delayed I may get frustrated too. The guy was getting followed around by a camera crew for a month. Might that have had something to do with the stress?

didnt morgan hype up the episode last week with
"bodybuilders have been getting jucied up for years"
haha this episode was so annoying with the fat bitch, and
him quiting after 20 days, all he got out of it was a loss of
80 million sperm count...waste of an hour

I was pretty disgusted by this show (and also by the wife as well.) Here are my gripes:

1. The fact that they had him take a 42 pills a day...for what? They should have had him take no more than 5. A multivitamin and a few othors. Of course you liver will be fucked when all of a sudden you go from eating the occasional advil to 42 pills a day.

2. His fucking wife. First of all, if you offer yourself to be on a nationally televised TV show, you fucking do it right. He had to work out, its for 30 God damned days, you cant suck it up and spend a little less time together for 30 days. Christ. She wanted more family time? She should do something else other than just watch him swim and do jumps and complain and bitch. Get a job.

3. The items used for the small 30 day cycle. They probably had him on a Test E cycle, which you wont see the real effects until a a few weeks more thana month. And HGH, which is well known to be a multi-month cycle/treatment. Granted, if they wanted to see if HRT was a fountain of youth, then that is the correct long-term protocol. However, if the goal was to lost fat, build muscle and strength, and feel better and younger, then they should have researched or at least asked a professional bodybuilder what they could get the most out of for 1 month. I think we would have seen quit a difference of results had they used Test Prop/Anavar/IGF for a month, with a good diet rich in protein and a multivitamin/flax.

All in all I was very dissapointed in the way they went about this. Someone on this board should do an independant documentary using the correct compounds for a 30 day cycle and prove that the results were skewed due to someone behind the scenes not have a damn clue on what to dose.

Thats all i have to say about that.

My god!!
I just wanted to yell at these idiots.
And did,nt the doctor explain that when taking test, your spem count is gonna drop.
It was funny to me when the bitch was crying like he was gonna die from some HGH and test shots.
Also, what was funnhy was the pills, which are legal and OTC was the cause of the liver problems.
And what the hell is the problem with doing some cardio?? I could imagine if this guy wanted to go to
the bar and have a couple of drinks with his freinds. And if she wanted to spend time with him, how
about getting off your ass and doing some exercises with him. god knows she could have used it.
Anyway, i think they did a horrible representation of the drugsand they picked the worst people possible
to do the show with.

I can't believe anyone is surprised by how biased this show was.

What is a safe topic to bash?

...uh steroid use?

Right...

furthermore the white, liberal media will attack anything that promotes increased strength and or masculinity...a tolerant, seeensitiiiive society just can't have that!!!
