While there was a definite anti-steroid/hormone slant to the show and his wife was a HYOoGE a pain in the dick, I don't blame her. There were definite things that were cause for concern...because that asshole of a test-subject didn't do one bit of independent research! Raised liver values and complete sterilization are very scary things to most people. Hell, I know about it and what to do to combat it but it still makes me uneasy. I mean, if you're going to undertake this type of therapy, wouldn't you, at the very least, do a google search and find out what the effects/sides will be? It wouldn't have been such a harsh experience if he knew what to expect. When I became interested in chemical enhancement, during the infancy of the internet, I went to the friggin library, read everything I could find and then used their computers to run a search. Nothing came as a shock to me, in the way of sides, and I was able to know what to expect. But then again, the show is on FX which is run by FOX. What did you expect? Also, did anyone else notice that the bit where someone pinches his stomach and says "the fat's really coming off" didn't make the final cut of the show?
