Getting Cheeky and Testy with intraTest Xtreme

Today's adventure goes as follows. I got lots of sleep yesterday and last night so I feel much better today, still sick but not as bad. Today is chest day for me and since I wanted to get a bit of a pump as well, I made a little addition to my intraTest Xtreme today. I added 2g of agmatine and added citrullene malate as well. Holy crap the mix was nasty! intratest by itself was much better.

Here's how it went:

-Bench Press

-Cable flyes

-Incline Bench

-Pec Deck

Did about 5 sets of each exercise

Thanks, I'm working on it! I'm at 228.4 lbs this morning. I'm trying to add as much mass as possible between now and March when I switch gears and go into contest prep mode. Just wait till you see me at the Arnold! *crosses fingers while swallowing steaks whole
 
I hate when I think mixing stuff sounds good then you drink it and are like eww gross lol.
Whats with the colors in the gym ? Just curious.

When you say it was better alone, do you mean just taste or effect also?

On a non-serious note, I think Celly was hoping for a pic in posing trunks a.k.a. thong.

Yeah, usually cit malate gives it a nice tart flavor but the agmatine was straight unflavored powder and kinda ruined the whole thing. As for the gym colors, this is a lifters gym, almost no cardio equipment, most of it old or rusted, but you go there to get work done! It's kinda dirtier then I'd like but it's a small local place where you never have to wait in line to use a piece of equipment like you would at 24hour, just be sure you wear your sandals in the shower, lol!

Heavyweight. So between 198-224, preferable on the upper range but not sure how likely that is.

Just taste. I usually get good pumps from agmatine and today was no exception but it killed the taste. And if celly wants to see pics of me in my mantini, then he'll have to wait till contest time.
 
Today I had my intraTest Xtreme right before I left for the gym this morning. When I got there I did a swell little arm workout like so:

-Tricep Extensions
supersetted with:
-DB Bicep Curls
supersetted with:
-Skull Crushers

repeat 4 times

next

-Preacher Curls
supersetted with:
-Bench Dips with plates loaded on lap (not my preferred method)
supersetted with:
-Cable Curls

repeat 4 times

next

-Regular Dips (uhg, should have done these when I was fresh)
supersetted with
-Concentration Curls

repeat 2-3 times, can't remember which

I had a great arm pump from this and my arms are starting to get that DOMS pain already.

Had a good workout today but my cold have moved to sneezing and runny nose, which was decent during my workout but as the day progressed it has gotten more cumbersome.
 
Get well James! Don't wanna hear you getting all sick and fatty due to time off and overfeeding!

Today was delts. Today was stressful and busy. Today my training partner almost got us kicked out of the gym.

-Cable Lateral Raises

-Overhead Press-Rear delt with cable

-Partner yelling at trainers

-Big lull and waiting while they work things out

-Back to training

-DB side lat raises

-BB shrugs

And of course, my intraTest Xtreme. I was lagging this morning and needed a boost so I added Focus XT to my intratest and that combo actually tasted pretty good together.

Long story short, a trainer was being annoying and getting in our way so he started be vocal about it, then started mocking him. He cried to the owner who then came over and they proceeded to yell and eff each other out in the middle of the gym.

I had a trainer take my my weight of the t bar while I went to go get a buddy to help me with a spot. I came back put the weight on and looked at him. When he started to say oh sorry I just interupted and say YUP!!! Needles to say I noticed him throwing his arms in the air when I walked away like I left the weight there. Oh ya and all my stuff. Im done venting now.

lol, yeah I've had stuff like that occur. Today wasn't as bad but it kinda continued from yesterday to the point where I was so embarrassed and left early.
 
Today was legs! Or should have been.

Made it to the gym and began with squats and got 5 sets in before things started declining rapidly. I then hit some hamstring curls while I still could and then it was right about then that the whole gym was quite uncomfortable, particularly after taunting yet another trainer (not I mind you) and I knew it was time to go. I think I will find another gym to workout at for a little bit. Thank goodness I have plenty of other options. I'm about to go outside now and do some yard work for the rest of my failed exercise.

In other news, I feel the effects of the DAA in the intraTest Xtreme kickin' now as of yesterday and into today. Libido has def. improved.

true story... i used to swim at the natatorium where they hold olympic trials-great place...anyways the area from the pool to the locker room is just flat cement, nothing to prevent slips. one day this kid came running out of nowhere and i told him to be careful-he told me f' off old man.....when i came out of locke room he was lying on the cement with paramedics all aruond-dumba$$ had fell and knocked himself out....


moral of the story:
DON'T MESS WITH THE OLD DUDE!!!!

Today was back. At a new gym. *sigh

-Did a weird Lat Pulldown FreeMotion machine that was actually kinda cool.

-Did a machine seated low row that I didn't like so much since it was a short ROM and I was working with the whole stack but we were at a new place and trying new things so why not.
At this time, one of my old friends that I used to work with several ago walked by and we recognized each other at the same time. We got to talking and he kept telling me how big I am compared to when he last saw me. Good stuff.

-Next we did some Hammer Strength Pullovers. When I got over there, my workout partner had already done a few sets since I was talked with my old friend. I jumped on and he warned me that it was really heavy. BTW, my lifting partner is far far far stronger then me. Well, this one I ended up really liking because it felt good and I matched his weight for the first! Then again, I doubt he was going full tilt but that's ok.

-Standard cable Lat Pull-downs, like 6-7 sets

-DB rows

And that wraps it up. Most everything was in the 3-6 set range. I think I got a good workout in.

Took my intratest just before my workout, which is how I've been liking it lately. Tomorrow is a rest/recovery day.

I know this doesn't seem like much but we went heavy and did a lot of sets. Chest got a good pump too. intratest will be consumed post this time.

Good question. So far I like it. I have noticed the libido boost on multiple occasions. Not sure on what more to offer at this point. Any specifics?
 
I shared this in HQ and in the RB thread so just skip over it if you saw it already. I got great news yesterday! I won't know for sure about it until a few more days but I'm excited about it. The other news that I can share today is even better. I just got notified that I was selected for an interview for my number school of choice for my DPT program. I fly out there in two weeks! Oh and no workout today because I had school all day. However I will be going to basketball soon.

Well Benji, that's a good question that requires some investigation. BCAA's are great. Used mainly in a caloric deficit but some people like Layne Norton are proponents of it at other times too. The other main ingredient is DAA which is a wonderful test/libido booster amino acid. It's one of the few natty test booster that I actually noticed anything with. Put them together and you get...well BCAA's with DAA, which is great for cutting cycles! Think of it, protein synthesis when you need it and a libido boost when many cycle can be suppressive on it. I think I found it's full-potential niche!
 
Today was legs which sucked because I did basketball last night for an hour and a half. They felt fine at first but then the squats told my knees that they were going to be punished.
