I was never Halo fan so I skipped Destiny. I want to try it out though.

Someone mentioned Watchdogs a page back. I waited so long for that game, I had my ps4 like 6 months playing lame games waiting for watchdogs. I got it, played it for hour and got real bored. I love that it is Chicago, but I can't get into it.

I think Destiny is pretty cool.

Does anyone else have destiny for 360?

I really want them to make destiny for PC!!! fps are so much easier on pc's :(
 
Yeah I wasn't blown away by it. It's really weak rpg elements. Sort of just a mix of borderlands and halo.

But for people who loved halo, which is a lot of people, it's everything they've ever wanted.

I loved Borderlands but never got into halo due to that fact that Im a Playstation guy. Just wondering but why do you find it underwhelming?

I liked borderlands a lot. And comparing it to destiny is still a fair comparison. Problem is the skill trees are much more boring in destiny and it lacks the humor of borderlands (which made borderlands feel less repetitive than it was).

I'm not into shooters though, so I was really banking on the RPG elements which disappointed. Characters and environments look cool though and it's all mechanically smooth which is generally all it takes to please the shooter crowd.

interesting analysis. I love fps however i am not into RPG's. I tried borderlands and just could not get into it. I've only put in 4 hours in that game though, so perhaps I just didn't give it enough of a chance

No 4 hours is more than enough lol. It doesn't change much. It's not for everyone, and it was definitely more of a guilty pleasure for me.

The new "Tales from the borderlands" game looks really cool though. It's made by TellTale and it's going to be very different. Anybody ever play the walking dead game or wolf among us? Same company.

I agree with you.
I compare destiny to a the new cods which really suck. I'm waiting to bring my Xbox 1 alive with halo,battlefield,the division and ofcourse since I'm commited to cod although they keep letting me down. But overall my Xbox one has been a very expensive.... Not sure since I don't use it for anything lol.
 
I was going to wait a few weeks until my gf bought the XBone. But I think I'll just get it for 360. It looks pretty much the same from what I've seen.
 
I just read up on a new horror thriller game coming out next month it looks to be in line with the brutality of the old resident evil games

Anyone getting Shadows of Mordor, post up and let us know how it is. It looks like a sweet game. I'm loving the engine... at least what I've seen of it.

It's been getting rave reviews. It looks great. I'm sure I'll break down and buy it this week. I'll post up a review when I do.

im prob getting shows of mordor but not right now. probabably like in a month though. game looks sick, but also i dont want to miss the boat on the halo remastered

I lied it's not going to release for 360 or a few more weeks and my girlfriend isn't going to buy the XBone for another couple weeks as well.

Still I'll post up when I do. I'm pretty excited. Although it releases for 360 AFTER dragon age inquisition comes out. Which I'm way more excited for.
 
It is so nice to see games in 1080 I can only imagine how games will look in a few years

Shadows of mordor.
I really like it, great graphics and cool story. It's pretty easy to not die since you can easily run away and kite. It's sick because you have so many options on how you wanna go about playing the game. You can either kill or control. And have your "captains" becoming warchiefa by killing the warchief or having them ambush the wc. It's complicated to exsplain but it's a pretty sick game.

But at the end of the day DotA still has my full attention.

Once I upgrade my rig that's definitely a game I want.
 
I just found out about the Halo Masterchief Collection coming out next month, I am beyond stoked for Halo 2 making its full comeback in a remastered edition, mostly the online multiplayer part.

Don't forget the playable covenant. That's gonna look bad ass remastered. Halo combat evolved ..When it was remastered.....hnnnnnngggggg

you are late to the hearthstone party my friend. yeah people that don't play the game think its "so easy" . one of my favorite time killers without the typical 1 hr long commitment that most games require
