Game of Thrones Season 7 ... Who is In???

Also, I have to admit that the show did the Sand Snakes a huge injustice (as they were insanely awesome in the books). Killing them off kind of rights the wrong because they were being so horribly misrepresented anyways. This also confirms how savage and badass Euron Greyjoy is. It appears he is not only a master manipulator, but also a great fighter... and pretty insane (he cut off all of the tongues of his crew because he wanted silence).

Yep last season really ruined them as far as their show appearance. They were so cool in the books haha

I am looking very forward to this next episode. Undoubtedly, Ellaria Sand is the "gift" Euron will give Cersei and there will probably a gruesome death involved there... but will Cersei really marry Euron? Will Jamie sit by for that, even if it just political? I know he was in a similar position with Robert Baratheon marrying Cersei, but things have changed a lot since then.

And furthermore, I didn't get the impression that Yara Greyjoy was killed so what use does she serve Cersei or Euron? Will she be kept in a dungeon to somehow be used strategically in the future with dealing with Dany? She wasn't THAT important to Dany's war and now all her ships are at the bottom of the sea. Why wouldn't Cersei just cut her down? Although, Theon redeeming himself and saving his sister after bailing like that would be a good story... I just don't see why Cersei or Euron would keep her alive.

. I just don't see why Cersei or Euron would keep her alive.

Since her ships just got dismantled, what benefit would they have keeping her alive? Her fleet is punished, Theon ran away like a coward, so what role is she truly going to play in this? Unless they can use her for some benefit that you and I are not seeing.

I am hoping episode 3 is not a 30 minute soap opera of Snow talking to the Dragon queen and dealing terms. BORING

I know it would never happen but it would be amazing if she tried to burn him alive for not kneeling to her as his queen and he wasn't hurt by the fire... I'm just picturing everyone going "Oh, ****!"

Or maybe the dragons won't attack him because they realize he is a Targaryen. I don't know, some event that makes it clear he must be a Targaryen.

I do wonder how they will do this meeting. Tyrion would be pretty opposed to her trying to kill Jon Snow, which likely wipes any chance of something like I hoped for. I suppose trying to put someone to death might not be the best way to start an alliance with them.

Ep 3 The Queen's Justice
Daenerys holds court. Tyrion backchannels. Cersei returns a gift. Jaime learns from his mistakes.

Lets see what Snow & The Dragon queen come to as they meet.......

Episode 4 preview shows The dragon queen and snow together on the shores.... A little scene with Cersei at Kings Landing.... Nothing too much to really detail what we are about to find out tonight

Well Well well... look who Sansa meets up with and made it to the wall.....
Interesting..

- Braun is back in the North
- Snow will get dragon glass from the Dragonqueen
- Greyjoy's are captured by Cersei in Kings Landing
- Lannister Army took a hit at castley rock by the unsullied, even though it was not the full army
- No decision on what Snow is going to do with the alliance with the dragon queen.

House Tyrell brought to the ground is bigger than I can even imagine. It was an incredible moment as Olenna jokingly quotes "Rains of Castamere," a song about Cersei/Jamie's father completely destroying House Reyne, as it is happening to her own house. Cersei has now killed her main political rival, funded the rest of her war, and dealt a massive blow to Daenarys with the bait and switch which stranded what could be more than a third of her army where they can't help her. Cersei is playing the Game so well. But wow... Olenna went out with a bang. Even at the very end, going out with a smile while inflicting pain on the Lannisters. I'd expect no less.

I'm so excited... Cersei is proving quite formidable, but surely she wouldn't be crazy enough to attack the North unprovoked with Winter here? What is Littlefinger going to do? And with the North's preoccupation with the White Walkers, how does that affect this war seeing as nobody else is worried about them at all?

Most people don't think the white walkers are real
Did you watch last episode? The dragon queen was puzzled when snow brought them up, and his interest in the dragon glass. If people have not seen the army of the dead they think it's made up and fake

I did. The presence of the White Walkers affects Dany significantly because the North is unwilling to jump into the war headfirst. That makes her fight with an arm behind her back, even if she does get Jon Snow's backing. Cersei has nothing to lose and holding her back. It is such a tough position to be in for her opponents. Basically, knowing about the White Walkers makes everyone else stronger in a militaristic sense (although doomed for a quite bad future after the war).

I know. Tywin really was such a strong player in the game. Unstoppable military commander that also was good at shaking hands and making deals. What a game changer that crossbow bolt on the ****ter was.

Episode 4 has leaked online and is currently for streaming on kodi

I hate you guys so much (obvious lie), I just read a lot of these not realizing I haven't watched the episodes yet

I watched the leaked episode and I cannot wait to watch it in full HD glory. I will not spoil anything, but I do look forward to talking about it after Sunday night.

I have HBO Go, did not see anything about it being leaked.
Please do not share anything until after 10 PM eastern tonight.

Episode 5 preview shows The dragon queen addressing Snow to bend the knee again.
Scenes at castle black and a lot of white walkers treking along, but no idea how far away they may be.
Also a hint of Braun and what role he may play.

Time for episode 4!

Episode 4 Cliffs:

- Arya makes it to castle black
- Braun is presented the dagger that killed his mother from little finger
- Braun gives the dagger to Arya which is made of valerian steel
- Snow shows the dragon queen what the children of the forest made. Images of the white walkers engraved on the walls in a cave.
- Dragon queen says she would fight for the north if Snow bends the knee
- Dragon queen figures out they took castle rock
- Arya shows off her sword skills in Castle Black
- Greyjoy sails to the island with Snow & Dragon Queen
- The targarians invade the lannister army
- The dragon queen fries the lannister army
- Jamie tries to go after the dragon queen after the dragon took a spear, and he ends up jumping into a pond to end the episode

Daenarys is really starting to look more like the Mad King!

Alright. So a lot happened there. Here are some random observations:

- I respect that Jon Snow held back from hurting/killing Theon because he helped Sansa escape from Ramsay. Theon really has paid for that whole Winterfell debacle.

- Arya is a freaking BAMF. I'm curious where her character is going story-wise, but man, I can't believe how awesome she has gotten. Sansa and Littlefinger even got to see it firsthand.

-Littlefinger really likes smiling and staring at people. I wonder what his angle is. He seems to be on a mission to meet face to face with every Stark and creepily inform them how much he loved their mother. Is Arya going to get that same talk? Littlefinger might not want to give her that talk...

- Tyrion has been the levelheaded advisor and unfortunately playing the Game the honorable way has led to defeats for Daenarys because Cersei hasn't been playing by the same rules. Daenarys has now decided to play Cersei's way and has scored a major victory... but if she continues down this road, it will inevitably put her against Tyrion and likely against Jon Snow as well. Well, and against the people of Westeros. Rule by fear seems to be the route Daenarys is taking, but honestly, how do you not take that route when you have three dragons?

-And when is Bran going to start dropping truth bombs? He knows so much. Start telling people, you creepy weird man.

- Daenarys is not giving up on making Jon Snow kneel and he really does not want to. The previews showed her on a dragon in front of him with it possibly roaring in his face. Is this when we find out Jon Snow is a Targaryen too?

-Grey Worm is still on Casterly Rock with his army. I wonder what their plan is... Do they even have a map of Westeros? Would they even know where to march if they left that castle? None of them have ever crossed the sea.

-Jamie couldn't have died as they would have shown it, I believe... but did Bronn die to save him? Will they both emerge from the water and look around to see nothing but ash and corpses? Or will they both be fished out and held prisoner by Daenarys with Tyrion begging her not to kill them?

-How will Cersei take the news of this massive defeat? I suppose that reaction will be highly dependent on Jamie's condition.

-And Bran knows so much. When is he going to start dropping truth bombs? And is being so weird and creepy part of being the Three Eyed Raven? He's Littlefinger level creepy.

Haha I am getting weird David firth salad finger vibes from Bran.. My goodness what a weirdo!! Lol. I loved how bran did throw the 'chaos is a ladder' quote at littlefinger though. I think they are setting up for Arya killing littlefinger with the very dagger that killed their mother.

Why would Arya kill him, though? Or you mean he does something in the future that has her kill him? Littlefinger lied about Tyrion owning the dagger, but I don't think the show or books ever alluded to him having anything to do with the hit on Bran's life. Unless the show invents that storyline and reveals it in the future. I thought it was Littlefinger just taking advantage of an opportunity to turn House Stark and Lannister against each other.

That would be insane, though. If it did somehow involve Littlefinger, Bran already knows. Then this very much could be as you said. I'm unsure what Littlefinger's motive is or how far he would go to get more power.

Bran knows about littlefingers role in the death of ned stark. Bran also gave Arya the dagger. I am just kind of theorizing as most do :) also, Arya is wearing her hair like Ned now, even her outfit resembled Ned. The fact his statue looks nothing like Ned, maybe she is trying to take on his stature. Maybe she'll use his face ;)

Im just speculating haha. I think there was some major foreshadowing in bran and littlefingers little dialog last night, and then the dagger then being given to Arya.

Or, they are further foreshadowing making Arya into lady stoneheart, since we clearly aren't getting the books version. There are so mant possibilities they are laying out, but as we all know.. Everything in the show has purpose.

Regarding purpose, didn't Jamie a few seasons back say to never fight dothraki in an open field? Well look at him now. Haha

That's very true. Sansa also had Cersei's haircut when she spoke to Jon Snow before he left earlier in the season. Then Arya called back her previous "That's not me" line with Nymeria. Then there was the "Chaos is a ladder" call back. I love how the show is referencing itself. It pays to focus on every detail!

Far from sucking. Explain how he sucks? He is one of the last living starks.
he also has insight and vision no one else has. He may be a key aspect to help defeating the white walkers.

Hes a boring character that doesnt drive much interest or add anything ....the whole 3 eyed raven storyline imo is the worst one in the show

I have no doubt he will play a big role...but besides arya the starks are terrible

A person that plays a big role is far from boring. Not everything has to be about people getting flamed by dragons to be entertainment. There is a reason he is a silent character. People who play a major portion is piecing together the story are not always very interactive or very outgoing. Sometimes there are those who are low key and behind the scenes that make the biggest impact to the overall story.

Agreed. You can tell now he is only half present in conversation. He can no longer feel empathy for humanity and people he loved due to the constant flow of memories from him. Half of him is constantly cycling through memories to find how to defeat the white walkers, while the other half is present during conversation. It's quite neat really

It is an interesting dynamic. I remember when Sansa tells Arya that Bran is back and Arya gets really excited, but Sansa just stares at her. Arya is confused but you can't get it until you talk to him. It's not Bran anymore. Arya was no one. Bran is like... Everyone. Lol. At least in terms of living through everyone's past and present all at once.

Yeah but the overall story isnt strong or compelling enough for a silent character for anyone to care about....they could cut his whole character out and the show will go along without a hitch

Him predicting or seeing what the white walkers are doing is sort of just whatever to me....even if it saves the north...its still the weakest story line in the show

See thats why i think hes the worst....he always was a bad character...the lack of empathy and the acting makes it seem like hes on his high horse.....and its just weird and to me doesnt work

My buddy who never has a bad thing to say about the ahow texted me last night and was like the episode was great but they need to do something about bran...hes garbage

Different strokes for different folks. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the night king

He may be a secret to help defeat them with his vision.
This is what makes him so powerful and such an important character. he has an ability nobody else has.

Yup! The show bran is much more exciting then the book bran too, lol. So if people don't like the show bran, they will probably fall asleep reading his parts of the book lol

Dang it, I can't wait for the next episode. Ballers was good too, but GoT is in a league of its own. I'm also pretty stoked for Vice Principals again. Nevermind all of that, though. Jon, do NOT kneel!

if u think GOT is good, watch power and animal kingdom....both are airing right now and both are better than GoT imo

after the 1st season of ballers I stopped watching, wasn't into it at all

I've heard other endorsements for Power but I admit I've never even heard of Animal Kingdom. I will have to look into those. I'm always down for good shows, although I'm usually behind on every show I'm trying to watch.

I watch all of these.

Glad to see GoT popping off early this season ☺

i don't think they have much of a choice.....they limited themselves to 13 episodes ....4 down, they got to move quick if they want a legit ending
I heard next season (or the second half of this one; however they decide to classify the break) is supposed to be all 2 hour episodes -- anyone else heard that? That was the first I had and it seems hard to believe, but would be epic.

The following 3 episodes of this season looks like this:
Episode 5: 59 minutes.
Episode 6: 71 minutes.
Episode 7: 81 minutes.
