Summary:
Season is winding down. Two more games left on the summer softball season. With no chance for playoff, we are left to play spoilers.

Energy was not as high today. I was not tired, but I was way too laid back.

I again got in over 200 grams of protein today. I had lots of chicken, seafood salad without dressing, some Protean, quinoa, lean beef and some almonds. It seems like when i try to get more protein in, i also hit @ 175 grams for carbs and 90 grams for fat. Again, good amount of carbs come from quinoa, so I am OK with the total.

Softball game first and then lifting.

I got to the game not as energetic. My hamstrings were also tight from Sunday's softball tourament. We played against a playoff team and played really well. We ended up losing by 1 at the end. I was 2 for 3 with a walk and 2 runs scored. I also played outfield and made all plays. I almost threw someone out at 3rd base as well. I one hopped the throw to keep it in play. I should have airmailed it on the fly. We lost by 1, 15-14 but we all felt good as we played a tough team. One more game left to go.

At the gym, the energy level rose a bit. othing of note other than I included wide chest press at a lower weight to my back day as a push-pull. It kept me from resting between sets and I got my heart rate up nicely.

I like the current back routine as it really stresses the back well and I get a good feel from each rep.

Things are still going well from the supplement side.

Recompadrol still works the same and will not need to be cycled in my opinion.

Libido is still good, so Natty V is doing it's job. Still need to know how it works synergetically with the stack to help lose weight. i do not have issues with libido without supplements. AAV2 is still doing its thing as I am losing weight. For me....still no thermogenic effect. I am probably an outlier. I am not looking to increase dosage just to sweat. I like to assess supplements based on recommended dosage on the bottle.

Onto tomorrow. Shoulders are up next !

First off awesome post and log as always it never gets stale just more and more energy and will power. 2nd that sucks about no playoffs. Yall do it different. We have summer season 10 games monday night double headers then at the end we have a torney with your standings in league placing you in the torney. We got a one pitch next Friday, hmmm that be plenty of time for yah to swing by and play!!

We certainly do it different here it looks like. South is definitely more softball friendly.

Yeah, I don't get that. I love to play hard with sportsmanship. No need to play to hurt someone to show how tough you are. There are many difficult battles in life and some where you might have to raise your fist.....softball is never one of them.

Summary:
September 1 will mark 60th day of my run. Time passes by so fast when you are having fun !
I am excited to see what my result is going to be before I go on a 30 day run to finish my cut. I feel like I have lost the water I was carrying recently and my veins are ridiculous right now. (For me anyway) Muscles are hard, but I am still searching for the deep cuts to enhance the look. Lets see what I can do in the final 10 days.

Pretty much a decent diet today with lots of protein and good carbs. I had protean shakes, roast beef and swiss wrap, chicken breast, quinoa, lean ground beef, long hot peppers, and some almonds. With increase in protein, I can feel my muscles getting fuller and I am starting to get some strength back. No PRs for a while due to dieting, but I maybe getting back at it and hopefully shooting more PR videos.

I also want to try to take some pictures after a workout or pumped. It should be interesting. All my pictures I have taken to date for updates are right after I wake up. I do that for consistency.

I took a nap after work, beause it was a draining day at work mentally. i wanted to goto the gym recharged. A short nap really did the trick and although I went to the gym pretty late, energy was there for a good workout.

I wanted to overload the shoulders without hurting my elbows or wrist, so I went to the body masters shoulder press machine. I was surprised to pyramid all the way up to 340 lbs. I did 9 sets, because i kept feeling like I could go up in weight. Mental boost right there. Felt like a strong mofo. Shrug machine was right next to it, so I put in 4 decent sets of that for high reps. I then did my laterals and rear delt work. I have interesting definition lines on my rear delts now. I gotta take pictures of it one day. Anyway, my shoulders were ripped and pumped up. How do I finish this off ? The rope climbing machine. It's a machine with continuous rope that you keep pulling as if you are climbing. It's a fun machine. I went up in resistance for 5 sets and my forearms, back, shoulder and traps were on fire. Gotta do more of this next time !!! In fact. I will do it at low resistance for longer time as sort of a cardio workout tomorrow !

Onto tomorrow. No lifting....so what shall I do !.....rope clinbing machine ! and more cardio possibly.

I'm running 10 g Cnidium 20% osthole (1800-2000 mg osthole) per day

Had pretty good diet today. I ate tilapia, chicken, grilled cheese sandwich for a treat, some lean beef, long peppers, quinoa and almonds. I think it was my est day of eating to date ! 205p 109c 61f and just 22gm of sugar.

At the gym, I looked ripped up in the upperbody and not so much in mid section. (OK, I posed infront of the mirror a bit) I have to come to a realization that I may not be able to get rid of loose skin I have in my stomach. I have faint lines of ab, but I don't think I will get tight looking midsection until my skin tightens up.

Onto the chest workout details.

Muscle confusion !!!

I am doing Smith Incline Press instead of the old reliable hammer strength. Trying to stress elbows at a different angle to lessen the inflammation. I think switching things up will be a key for the next 10 says since i am lifting so much. Here we go.

Smith Incline Chest Press - I did not know what I was going to get out of this. I have not done these in a while. Asolutely no pain in the wrists and just mild pains on my right elbow. What a saving grace. I went up 9 sets in a pyramid as i did not know what my weight limit was. Well ?
I got upto 325 lbs for 2 reps. That is a PR as i have never lifted that much on this before !!! Awesome, what a start to the workout. Adrenalin was sky high and the alpha feeling was on !

V-Bar pulldowns - I supersetted V-bar pulldowns at a moderate weight with Smith Incline chest press. I feel that it helps stretch out the muscles while keeping the heart rate moving. The push pull approach has been good to me and i will continue to do this for top compound movements.

Machine Fly - No other machine that goes higher on weight. Regular pec deck has been broken for month. This does give me a decent feel if I go slow.

Hammer Strength Wide Chest Press - Ultimate pump on these today. I love squeezing at the top of the movement. I am starting to approach former PR at 360 lbs.

VLT Rope Climb - This is a great finishing movement for all upper body when done right. 5 sets of various time lengths at various resistance. Heart pumps like crazy and my entire upper body feels like it was taken to task when I was done.

I was already feeling sore as I was leaving. i know i had done good. Time for Lemon RecoverPro with a shot of vodka. I mean.....just kidding !

Dang it bro you said it best! I just got back from chest late night blast omg I'm on fire. Like cut my weight down to do more reps, but the weight itself is starting to pick back up.

Summary:
I felt great and I was flying around all day. What a spaz.

Very low in calorie today. I ate more Protean, some steak, long hot peppers. Yeah, that's a man's day of eatin !!! OK, I did eat a slice of angel food cake smothered in peanut butter as well for treat. Not so manly there.

My intent today was to destroy the back. i had a lot of time being its friday and i had ton of energy. No sir. I don't need PWO. Just some RecoverPro and red meat and I am ready to go. I felt really focused today. I had my iphone handy ready to take notes on the workout.

Started off with V-Bar pulldowns. Hands down my favorite new back exercise. I was able to get upto 200lbs today and the pump started up right away. Threw in a drop set for additional squeeze. Onto Rows for mass. Same weight in 4X Mass style. I don't think I am getting cheated on these and 4 sets are actually good enough. Some pullovers next to stretch the lats. I have no illusion of this being a builder. I like the stretch I get doing these real slow.

Added a new exercise. Low cable row with bigger V grip. This V grip was made for me. Slightly less than shoulder width and it really hit the back with good scapula stretch at the end. May have to do more of these. Some high rep shrugs and lat pulldowns and I was done. Arms were pumped up like crazy, so I wanted to hit some biceps while it is pre-exhausted. Went on the Strive machine for 2 giant sets and it was an achingly (sp?) good finish to the workout.

Summary:
Muscle confusion !!! Pre-exhaust before lifting heavy.

OK, I ate a lot of carbs today. Just to continue to shock the system. I had my EBF capsules in a small container and had it with me all day - thank God. Carbs came from a lot of quinoa and brown rice. Also ate a few sweet potatoes for snack and 1 corn on the cob. What else did I eat ? More Protean (Iforce). It's a staple now. It tastes amazing ! Lots of grilled shrimp and chicken and few slivers of bacon as well. I added protean to get more protein in my system.

With a lot of food in my system, especially carbs, I dod not feel too energetic, but I felt very strong.

At the gym, I worked shoulders today. I started off with rear delt and laterals to switch things up a bit. I wanted the shoulders to have a chance to warm up a bit more before i kill it with presses. Rear delts went well and lateral went especially well. increased weight by 20 lbs for a new PR. Upright rows as a final wrm up and to the shoulder press i went. I ended up doing 8 sets of pyramid, because i felt strong with each set. I hit 350 lbs for a new PR and got that bad boy up for 4 reps. I felt so good that I ripped the weight off for 2 slow drop sets at 270 lbs and 180 lbs. I love drop sets on certain days and I hate them like passion on other days. Today was a good day. More high rep shrugs and some light biceps work and I was done. It felt amazing and i could see the shape of my shoulders through my baggy t-shirt.

Chest day tomorrow. i hope my elbows and wrists make it till end of this week.

Comment: I think my body craves lifting. It craves high volume lifting. From the pissy cardio week I had to now, my body has responded with fuller muscles, veins and better shape. my waist looks leaner and narrower. When it feels like the muscles are hard and pumped throughout the day and not only during workouts, it does something to the psyche. The mental high from this good feeling beats anything else i can think of. Well anything except one.

I guess I am stubborn and adjust slowly. The additional protein is really providing a good base to get stronger, eventhough it is not my main goal. maybe its recomp from this point on and not weight loss. I know Zach, you suggested this weeks ago.

There go's the neighborhood gym, Fu's on the loose pimping pr's like it ain't nobody's bizzznesss. How the hell do you find the energy for your volume bro. I mean I try to stick to 3 sets on every exercise with maybe the occasional 4 set if pumped but **** you kill it in that area.

Thanks man. Most times I have the energy and sometimes I don't. Gotta take good with the bad.

If I am running good, I gotta go volume. Just what's right me while others may enjoy more of low set heavy weight powerlifting type of workout.

Workout Energy – Good. Tough to guage since it was late at night.
Normal Energy – Good, not great.

Summary:
Long day at work. Did not get out until 8 PM and raced home cutting my 1:30 hr commute down to 1:00 hr. (No traffic late in the day). Ate some food and raced to the gym. I got there just past 10 PM and unfortunately, I knew I had to consolidate my workout. Not knowing how long it would go, I decided to do all supporting exercises first the pyramid incline press until time ran out.

I felt good all day, but I got titred as the day went on and by the time I left at 8 Pm, I was a little drained mentally. I was also dealing with DOMS all day. I guess lifting without resting is taking it's effect. If its not hard, then you are not working hard enough !

Diet today consisted of a lot of sirloin steaks. I grilled a whole bunch 6oz size steaks to store, but ended up eating one too many today. I also had some fried catfish nuggets and several Monster milk protein shakes. Whole lot of protein, little sugar (howwedo would be proud) and high fat diet.

To the workout...

Machine Fly - Weird starting this first. It was tougher than normal without warming up. Had to be careful not to pull anything.

Hammer Strength Wide Chest Press - Again quickly becoming my favorite. (Thanks to LTL) Feeling stronger on these every workout.

Smith Incline Chest Press - I started pyramiding these and felt DOMS from previous workouts. My elbows started burning agaian, but wrists were fine. I did not feel as strong and confident and it affected the weight I lifted. I failed to get any reps at max weight. I did 2 last time. I also did not push as I did not have a spotter. Even on smith, I could have easily trapped my self underneath if i can't get the weight off the chest.

Bad workout, but what can I do. Ebb and flow of lifting and I am sure better day will follow.
