Thoughts

This is not a review. Just few thoughts as I look at the numbers.

I need new pants. My waist hasn't been this small since about 15 years ago. Back then I was wearing size 33. I think I can hit that by end of the 90 day run.

Looks like I was carrying a quite a bit of fat on my chest as the chest size has been decreasing proportionately. When flexed, I can definitely see the weakness in outer chest, so hopefully HS wide chest does the trick. Little over 2 1/2 lbs lost since last week. 200 lbs by end of 60 day run seems a real possibility now.

No more all cardio for this guy. It really did a number on body composition visually. My muscles are flatter and not as full. Pictures will show this. My skin is also sagging a bit in the waist area. I don't like that thin long muscle shape. I am no runner. I am a lifter. People have also told me I am wasting away. Don't want that either.

The EBF stack continues to do it's job. Recompadrol is as advertised. Maybe more. AAV2 and natty V seems to work synergetically well with Recompadrol and I think the results show it. I really can't ask for anything more.

By the way, I went to the doctors and had blood drawn for Cholestrol and glucose check. Results in about a week.

I also had blood pressure check and the nurse nearly jumped off the chair after seeing my pulse rate and asked me if I was on any medication. Blood pressure was 138 / 75 last time with pulse in the 60s. This was few months ago.

I am only on day 41 of a 90 day run. Not even 1/2 way there.

Summary:
I recovered really nicely from yesterday's long workout and felt good all day. Today is game day, so no lifting planned. My shoulder pain is gone, but wrist and elbow issue remain. Wrist is just not healing completely and I am even having issues catching softballs. My elbow burns as I hit higher weight, but pain does not remain so I don't think it is tendonitis. I may need to ice it a lot more. No issues throwing.

I got a lot more protein in today. I had egg salad, turkey, chicken, and monster milk. I did a better job controlling carb intake and sugar intake as well.

OK, covers your ears kids and Packers. TMI time. It built up steadily everyday and I am not on any T-booster as you can see from my log. I don't know if it is just being in better shape or what, but libido has been off the chart. I can go at anytime when my GF wants it and she has been wanting it a lot more recently. She says my endurance has improved and it feels bigger. (sorry guys...walk way for a paragraph) It is not at attention always in the morning, but it is fuller and any bit of stimulus makes it rise in an instant. Definitely getting more looks at the gym since my muscles are pumped and veiny when I workout. My confidence is sky high and I spend a lot more time talking to women I don't know. Gotta be being in shape plus Natty V....no ? When I used T-boosters, libido effect usually stabilizes back to slightly above noral after 2-3 weeks and 30 days on a good run. Just saying.

Game summary: We got off to a 6-0 lead in the first inning then proceeded to be outscored by 19-7 margin rest of the game. Two bad innings where we gave up 6 runs each. I hit 2 line drives for singles and got a walk. i played outfield and made an error. I ran down a ball in the gap and saw my right fielder coming right at me. I looked away fromn the ball for a second and looked up and caught the ball in the middle of the glove. Then my wrist gave in and I could not close the glove. Now this friggin wrist is affecting my softball game. No chance of playing for playoffs now. Oh well. By the way, we almost got into a fight in this game. GF of one of the opposing player kept mouthing off to one of our guys. Our guy does not have sense of humor in games and yelled back. Her big boyfriend got all puffed up and swole and threatened to kick his arse. i got in between to stop any punches from being thrown. I love softball, but I don't need this sh*t at my age. However, if the guy hit my player, I would have had his back. Damn, this coed softball is too competetive. Need to go back to the men's league.

Summary:
Nothing after softball yesterday, so I got in about 7 hours of deep sleep. Woke up feeling great. Had amazing amount of energy all day. I think I normally sleep really well if I can get 6+ hours in. I feel it's cleaner than sleep effect created by L-Dopa boosting supplements. Sometimes that makes me feel too well rested and even bordering lethargic. Just me. I know others rave about it. It's just not good for me.

I had good appetite today, but not a lot of time to eat. I had Thanksgiving lunch with turkey, green beans and little bit of stuffing (no cranberry), quinoa, chicken breat, tomatoes and some pistacios. Not having kmuch success getting carbs down and protein up. I have some protein powder coming. Iforce Protean red velvet and vanilla mint swirl. I also have some Optimum Nutrition whey and oats coming as well along with Formeron, Natty V, RK-500 and loads of RecoverPro. Getting ready for the last 30 days. Erase Pro for $39.99....what !!! Damn, I spent too much money already. All "Supp'ed" Up and ready to go !!!

Today is chest day. I got to the gym at about 9 PM after a nice 1 hour nap. I felt great and ready to go.

Incline Press to start. Weight felt great and lifts were smooth until I got to 360 lbs. I started feeling the burn again on my elbows and slight wrist movement caused pain on my left wrist. 410 labs and 450 lbs were painful. I did 3 drop sets to follow and pain subsided, which leads me to believe there is some inflammation caused by heavy weight. Damn, I hate this. I have to watch carefully as an injury now can ruin everything. With the wrist strap, I have been doing OK so far.

I am doing something different to get my heart pumping since I am not doing cardio today. Strategic since there would not be enough time to get a good session in. I supersetted V-bar pull downs between exercises. Why V-bar pulldown ? I like the way it feels and it will help me with my attempt to conquer hammer grip pull ups.

Rest of the Chest work were Machine chest fly and HS Wide Chest Press. These 2 gave me great pump on the outer and inner chest. Added a little ab and bicep work and I was done. I think this was a pretty good workout. i felt great and i had veins popping all over the place.

I think it depends on the reader. Some don't like so much text. Especially in this smartphone era, It's not so easy to read. Some prefer a concise summary. I like your log style as well. Detailed and to the point.

At the end of the day, I have to do what is comfortable for me. Ramble on until I fill up a page. LOL.

Thanks DJ. I am glad you like Recompadrol. I take it before and after every meal regardless of carb content. Some take it only before meal and some take it based on time like every 3 hours or so due to decent half life. I heard 3-4 hours. On a cheat, you should plan ahead and take more Recompadrol 30-45 min before eating.

Excellent. I just had a workout end around 5pm and didn't have time for postworkout meal. Had to get to work. So I popped 3 about 20 minutes ago and I'm about to scarf down some yummy foodzzzz.

It's amazing how much BCAA has been helping me. I went through my 3 tubs of RecoverPro quickly and ran out. New order is not expected to be delivered until next Tuesday.

I have not taken it for a week now and I have DOMS all over the place - lats, chest, shoulders, traps, arms...etc. I normally take about 40 grams throughout the day.

Just a quick shout out for RecoverPro. An awesome product.

I've been on modern bcaas. 50-100 g per day. I drink it throughout the day as well and specifically intra workout.

Summary:
Last day in the office for the week and softball tournament coming up on Saturday.

Very busy at work today. Luckily I has plenty of energy and focus to get through without stress.

Appetite was decent today and got a lot of protein with low fat. Also limited sugar intake today. I was pretty satisfied when i saw the final numbers. My carb numbers are going to be high as I eat a lot of quinoa. I think I am OK with that. It has great nutritional value and it is not as bad as eating empty calories from white rice. I tried to get the number low, but it just does not fit my eating style. Remember, I am eating for life not for a contest. i had good amount of quinoa, salmon, lots of grilled veggies, roast beef wrap, grilled chicken breat, large tomato and a monster milk.

Today's workout of choice ? back, abs and little biceps work.

I started off with V-bar pulldowns. I switched to V-bar for my mass workout and I have not regretted it yet. I know its only been 2 workouts, but I love it. I think once I can get upto 230 lbs, the regular pull ups will become much easier. I find it easier to control movement on this versus wide grip as this one does not stress my injured elbow or wrist too much. I built it upto 210 lbs and got a tremendous pump. For rows and pullovers, I am doing 4X Mass. Knowing I am using less weight, I can go much slower on these and it feels like I am getting more out of them. On back workouts, how much weight you move is not as important as making sure you can feel each movement. You all already know this. I moved to Strive 5 angle to finish off the back. Damn, these give me a good overall stretch on lats. Reverse crunches on ab roller and some arm work and I was done.

I feel like the muscle mass has returned after last weeks break and cardio run. Feeling great !

Summary:
Relaxing day working from home. Got a lot of work done yesterday, so lot of reading today and checking e-mails.

Felt really good again today energy wise. Soreness wise, I have DOMS all over. It is definitely due to not having BCAA for a week. Gotta wait 4 more days until shipment arrives. That's OK, I love DOMS and it felt like a good confirmation that this new workout was solid.

Good macros today with very low carbs. Little too high in fats, but overall I was OK with it. Steak, eggs, couple slices of whole grain bread, chicken, Beef Pho and some pistacios. A real protein packed day.

Working shoulders today and looking at the data. I overtrained a bit. Started off pyramiding and racking the nautilus overhead press. Could not find a right machine to replace these with yet. Only if this machine went up another 100 lbs. I really like the isolation and feel of the lift.
Laterals and rear delts next in 4X Mass fashion which i am becoming a real believer of now. Heavier upright rows next and they felt really good today stressing both the shoulders and traps. My shoulders were really pumped at this point, but I wanted to go on. I still had energy and strength. I moved to shoulder press station to play around a bit and threw in 4 sets of behind the neck press. Felt great. Could not overload as I did not have a spotter, so i went to smith for front press seated for 4 nice sets. Now my shoulders were screaming and my upper chest felt solid.

When I get into an exercise I like, I have a bad habit of adding it in for several days at lighter weight. I know, horrible. I workout by feel, which is not always good. i do more if I feel great and I stop short if I am lagging. That exercise I like is HS wide chest. I made sure to use lighter weight and got 4 useful sets out of it. Pumps all over the place !!!

Finished of with little biceps work and I was done.

Softball tourney tomorrow, so I probably won't be going to the gym. Unless we get knocked out early.

Yes sir Master Drill Sgt!!!! lol can't wait brother Fu! Howdy games Friday night sucked. I had two players had to dip on me the day of the torney. Going with pick ups, we went 2 and 2 so not horrible lol, but not my usual night. Glad league doesn't start til after sept 8th. Nice to have a break.

Rained out !!! No softball today due to rain. Games are postponed till tomorrow. That means no workout planned tomorrow as we expect to be playing several games. Should be a taxing day if we play well.

Ate some omelet, oats and whey, turkey meatballs, several monster milks and ziti. Pretty boring diet. Refueling and carbing up to get ready for tomorrow.

Summary:
No rain in sight and a little overcast. I was excited to finally get to play in the softball tournament. Ate a lot of carbs yesterday and and ate a lot of carbs today to have energy stored to play a full day. Unfortunately, we only played 2 games and got knocked out of the tournament by 1 PM. What the.....

Ate bagels, quinoa, veggies, sweet potato, small strip steaks, pasta and grilled chicken. Ate what i could without overeating to get ready for a long day. Ended the day with a bloat, low energy and disappointment. I am not worried as I can get rid of the bloat.

Not going to go into too much detail about the game. We pretty much stunk it up. We should have beaten the team we played in the first round. Unfortunately, some of our guys went out last night and had themselves a good time. This morning, many showed up low in energy and no hustle. We must have made 6 errors and gave away the game. I did not help as I made outs on first 2 at bats by hitting homsruns both time. Ego gets in the way of good performance and instead of hitting line drives, i subconscioudsly wanted to smack the ball as far as I can. FYI - This is a no homerun tournament. Which means, you can run out a homerun, but you can't clear the fence.

In the second game, I struck out and grounded out twice trying to avoid striking out. Yeah, I said I would disclose everything. Yes, it is embarrassing to strike out in softball. I was annoyed from the first game and tried to hit the ball to the opposite field and missed it both times. The other team crushed the ball everytime they hit. It also did not help that we walked them 10 times. We lost in the 5th inning as they invoked the mercy rule. F'n embarrassing.

It was an ugly day and I certainly did my part to contribute to the loss. Some of these teams are serious and and are no joke. We can't just show up thinking we could sow up and play and advance.

I was down rest of the day and laid around. My GF was not around, so no distractions. Laid on the couch like a potato and watched TV rest of the day and developed a bloat. Aaarrrggghhh. FU, you jack ass (me). No motivation and no drive. Why, I hate losing at anything. BUT it's no excuse !

Onto tomorrow. Time to reset and get back in the game !

Lost first game 18-13. Lost second game 24-8. I played outfield and it felt like I was running all day. I went 0 for 2 with a walk, then 0 for 3.
 
How'd yall do in the torney bro!!! We had a bad one 2 and 2 went home 1am lol. Awesome workout yet again, and yes BCAA's are freaking awesome. I never go with out them.

We sucked moose droppings. Went 0-2 and got destroyed in the second game. I lost 3/4 of my outfield and had to use fill in players. Not good as we got killed with gappers.

Pics are up on post #789. It took it last night as I lost the pictures I took mid-week. Definite bloating and I am holding soime water due to carbing up for softball tournament. Looking to get it back together this week.

Nothing beats a good chest workout.

My wrist felt better today, but the elbow is still burning. Will still move forward.

Decent diet today althought it was high in fat. I did get a lot of protein in and lowers carbs somewhat. I had clean fajitas, chicken, long hot peppers, quinoa and beef burgers.

I was anxious to lift today and got right to it when I arrived at the gym. HS Inclines first. Shoulders were OK and wrist was OK as well. But my elbows started burning from set 5. Something is causing inflammation but I just can't stop right now. I pushed through the pain and did better on last set versus last week. One more rep and I am back to old PR number.

I am alternating V-bar pulldowns on chest days and wide grip chest press on back days. These are new to my routine and I love the pump and feel I get from these. They work nicely with the heavy counterpart sets.

Next are HS wide chest press and LTL was right. These are great for pump and it fits me to a T. I can go up in weight easily and I love the feel of it when I hold and squeeze it at the top of the movement and hold on for a second for a stretch atb the bottom of the movement. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I racked the machine flyes to close out the workout and my entire chest was pumped up and rock hard. It's a great feeling.

Went to the volleyball gym and played 3 vs 3 volleyball. Yep, no one showed today. Played 4 games and we were done. Got a nice cardio kick from it.

Onto tomorrow. Softball league game and then back workout !

Yeah....it's just not healing. This 42 yr old body is finally breaking down. LOL.

After this cut,I may have to take a break and hd off gaining weight with Recompadrol.
