You're supposed to have BCAA but I'm OCD and feel that if I have anything but water, I'll be breaking the fast... :/ I'd probably gain a lot more muscle if I used BCAA thruout the day. Since it takes me ~30 mins to get home after the gym and get eating, I immediately consume BCAA in the gym after training though. I also use my pre workout of choice at the time and that gives some moderate feelings of satiety prior to the workout. I've been doing it so long That 24- even 36 hours without food is not hard. I don't like it or male thhat commonplace, but it's not hard/impossible once u ease into it

Interesting...... Feels like I'm tightening up everywhere but my waist. I am losing weight, but can't tell difference in the way my pants fit. After this run in period, I will have to determine if the fasting thing works for me.
 
So seems the IF method definitely works for some but as runner says more frequent meals seem to be more effective.

Yeah. My GF does it and it works for her. She uses it for maintenance though and not for weight loss.

Same for me. Legs are stronger, deadlift 1RM for 200kg, squats are awesome, but can't lean up around mid section with IF.

I just took me some bcaa's!! Long ass day at work being in a gas mask and ppe for 5 freaking hours! Still managed to hit light chest and 1.3 mile on treadmil. I swear MIND OVER MATTER!!

Decent sleep to start out the day. Waking up to a 2 lb weight loss so far.

Major DOMS today on my forearms. YES !
I am a big fan.

Warm feeling at rest continues. Wore a short sleeve shirt today to no avail.

Diet was better. I am satisfied with macros for today. I may need to up my calorie target to 2,100 on weekdays. Highlight meal of the day ? Big ole turkey leg. In the cafeteria, I had a choice between turkey leg and turkey breast. The leg looked so good. I had to try it. And it was delicious !

Still fasting till 12. It hasn't been hard so far. Hunger in check most of the day till now. I have to have self control not to attack the fridge. I maybe sleepwalking.

No bloating today. Less carb probably helped. Still no GI issues. Tried Vanillean alone after fast to see what it was like. No issues with capsaicin. I am enjoying the warm feeling as the capsule dissipates in my stomach.

Had energy, but decided not to do cardio. Already did 2 sessions this week. Plenty of time to fit 2 more in by Sunday. Worked shoulders and felt strong with huge pumps. Strength still maintaining through diet. Doing HS Iso shoulder to save my joints.

No major difference in mirror yet.

I have to try this method.. was always under the impression the body could not handle that much food at one sitting..

The body takes why it needs excretes and stores.

If you couldn't handle tht much food how would people get fat? Lol

I handle it just fine except my ass burned from all Te hot sauce today lol

I can't eat less than 1800 cals in a sitting without starving 2 hours later bulking without putting on fat will be hard but it'll be manageable.

Try it out I love to eat so this is good for me

You won't feel it in your Waiste until a burn day and low cals the day after a burn day

I believe he is saying a lower calorie day with low carbs and cardio? Hence burning more fat and not concentrating on building muscle?

Build and burn days.

IFers use the reference a lot as well as carb cyclers.

Slow and steady wins the race. Weight continues to go down slowly.

No DOMS. Muscles remain hard and veins are showing little more. I think I am looking slightly leaner. Muscle outlines can be seen better.

Had some hunger issues that I dealt with by drinking coffee.

Off day for lifting, decided to wrap 2 sessions of cardio around dinner. Felt great. Had much more energy after dinner than prior. Did not get warm during the day, but sweated off a storm during cardio - both sessions.

Having trouble getting down to 2,000 calories. Maybe 2,100 is my sweet spot. Still below maintenance.

I could do without if I had a choice. Not a choice until I am down to 180.

Winter is the best time for me for cardio. I can always flip on hockey or basketball on the tube.

That's why I love IF... I love to eat. So when I so eat, I get to eat a TON in one sitting :D

I work from home on Fridays. I thought fasting at home with food readily accessible would be difficult. Especially since I had a lot of hunger pangs yesterday morning. Well it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I made it to 12 noon without any problems. I don't think it was the supplements since I only started dosing at 11:30 am.

However, once 12 noon hit, I was famished and took a bite of my sandwich and 1 egg before I remembered I needed to take pictures.

Went out to dinner with GF at a Thai restaurant. We ordered a whole tilapia and pineapple fried rice. We were going to split it then take home the left overs. My appetite held together and I did not over eat like I thought I would even though it smelled amazing. We ate the fish and took most of the fried rice home.

No thermo effects during the day or while lifting. Sweat poured off me during the short cardio stint. I felt pretty strong while lifting and felt like I haven't lost any strength. Leg workout felt great and will probably add weight next time. Finished off with 20 minutes of cardio so my hamstrings do not tighten up in cold weather.

No bloating or GI issues.
 
Today's my off day. Feel guilty for taking a break already. I know rest is necessary, even on a cut. I find myself peeking at the clock wondering if I have enough time to fit in a workout. Well at least this will be good feedback for later.

Back and cardio tomorrow and will try my best to watch what I eat/drink during Super Bowl.
 
Dude you should def have an off day after the friggin leg blast. That is insane fufu style oh yeah oh yeah just the way we like it!

So up it to about 2500 cals with most cals distributed to protein and fat I am assuming. ?

What about in non-workout days ?
